EVERYTHING AND THE DOG

Description of Work: I contacted this pet sitting company about 2.5 weeks before my trip to request service. I received an email a few days later (I was almost ready to give up) saying I would receive a phone call to set up service in the next a couple of days. Again it took a few days to make phone contact, but to company owner confirmed the days of my pet sitting needs and told me they could help me. She said she would send me the forms in a day or two. After a few days, I finally got the forms and was told they were still working to identify a sitter. I waited another 3 days with our contact. Finally, 4 days before my trip I emailed asking to confirm arrangements ASAP. The response was they were still looking for a sitter and I could call them if I still hadn't heard anything by the next afternoon. I replied that I needed confirmation by noon the next day or I would have to find another sitter because I was out of time. Despite repeatedly providing my work ph# and requesting a call about the issue. I got an email instead finally admitting they didn't have a sitter available. I found the email instead of a phone call, especially for this information, very unprofessional. Also, I was left hanging 3 days before my trip to find a different pet sitting company. And who knows when they would have told me if I hadn't made an ultimatum. Prices and reviews seemed good but company lacks the professionalism to admit to being over booked, which makes me nervous to trust my pets' care to them.

Description of Work: Awesome, Dependable just what we needed

Description of Work: Katie Prince came to see us the week before we left on vacation and we went over everything with her. Then from Aug 7 to Aug 25 she came by the house once a day and fed our two cats; played with them; and took care of the sand box. She sent us e-mail as requested to keep us informed and was especially attentive when the earthquake occurred. She was careful to provide the cats with TLC and kept the house in good order. I would recommend this company to everyone and if/when we go out of town again, they will be our first choice to watch our beloved cats.
