Friendly Painting did a fabulous job correcting my painting mistakes! I was doing touch up paint in the condo living room with 18 feet walls in preparation for my new renters. I ran into trouble when the old paint in the can had dried up, Sherwin Williams no longer carried the same color and there was a different formula that they were never (after numerous tries) able to match up for me. While mixing and trying to match, I painted over the old and new paint in a few places and tried out the new shades. I eventually arrived at the matching color, but the sheen was all wrong with the natural window lighting and the original eggshell paint looking more flat after a few years. From the angle in the kitchen looking through the cut out to the living room, my touch up work looked awful with the lighting and stuck out like a sore thumb. I finally gave up and decided to call a professional painting company! I found Friendly Painting on Angie's list and they answered after 5P! Tom Seo, the owner, listened to my sob story and gave me a quote (with a 10% Angie discount) and said a team would be out the next afternoon! He reassured me that they were excellent painters and would resolve my painting problems. They were an hour late in arriving, but more than made up for it in their professional techniques to correct my blunders! Yes, they tried to sand and roller over my painting, but when I pointed out how my work was still showing through, Jose quickly came up with a plan and the perfect solutions! He got Armando and Abdias to spackle over a few places, the hair dryer came out and within a few minutes the roller paint covered everything perfectly. They completed my job in about 2 hours (with a 20 minute break to let the first coat of paint dry before the 2nd one was applied), with Armando high on the ladder, Abdias doing the cut in work and Jose rollering. The final result is that my living room walls look gorgeous! I will use this company again and certainly hope I get this same team of Jose, Armando and Abdias! They worked well as a team, were very knowledgeable about their work and were a joy to have in my home.

All went well. Tom came and gave the estimate, arriving on time, and later scheduled the job when it suited us. The two-man crew arrived with Sam punctually on the scheduled morning of the job, removed the three empty bookcases still in the room, and got to work. Sam went and got the Sherwin Williams paint colors we had chosen (included in the price). The two-man crew finished in mid-afternoon. Even though the carpet was old and I said they did not need to take any special care about getting paint on it, I couldn't see a spot from the painting. I will have them return in the fall to finish repainting the entire upper floor once some work in one of the bathrooms is finished.

Friendly provided and estimate and it was significantly higher than two other estimates. They are probably good painters but I did not avail myself of their services.

Exceeded expectations. Were not pushy. I didn't want to invest too much in repairs, just wanted to protect surfaces for a few years, and they were willing to work within my direction. Did a great job. Notified me when there was a rain delay and kept me informed of schedule. Work was done quickly. All work done as I requested.

Friendly's Painting was amazing from beginning to end. I got estimates from three companies for this job. Friendly's representative Tom came out on time, was professional, answered my questions, and didn't try to up-sale me on any of the work. He told me the best ways to get the job done and save money, such as using the same color that was already on the wall instead of changing to white. That way we would only need one coat of paint instead of two. The work team was on time, very professional, and worked with great efficiency. The "bosses" checked in on the crew during the process and made sure I was satisfied with the work. This team took great care to remove bathroom mirrors before painting so if I ever want to change mirror shapes I won't have that unpainted area behind the mirror. That is the attention to detail that I really appreciate. This was the most efficient, professional, and courteous company I have ever worked with from beginning to end and considering that I dealt with probably eleven representatives (estimator, scheduler, painters, inspectors, owner) throughout the process, this is saying a lot. Each person was top-notch. Reasonably priced and the home looks great! I highly recommend them and will use them again for my painting needs.

They were very friendly and right on time and cleaned up after themselves. They were conscientious . I was very happy with the work that was done. I would recommend them to anyone.

After looking at three different contractors in the area to paint our 2 BD/2BR 1200 sq ft condo, Friendly Painting offered the best price that was within our budget (~$3300). The manager, Tom, was on time for our appointment for getting a quote. Once we made the decision to choose their company, establishing a date to start painting was easy, and their paint crew came on time and were very professional. They quickly prepped the apartment and were able to finish painting in two days - as promised. Despite some minor communication error of what we wanted painted, Tom was very accommodating and everything was resolved quickly and at the same agreed upon price in the original quote. Overall, they did a decent job and satisfied. I would recommend their services again.

Very pleased with work done, professionalism, and courtesy. Sam was my point of contact and he went above and beyond to make sure that the job was completed to my satisfaction. In fact, from the time I received the estimate (March 2012) to when the job was completed (Sep 2012) Sam maintained contact with me. Unlike other companies that had provided estimates to me, Sam never forgot about me although I was quite busy and was unable to set up a date until July 2012. The day of the job Ricardo and crew showed, but realized that they had to power wash before starting. Ricardo arranged for the power washing to be completed and worked around my schedule to come back to paint on another day. It took two days to finish the job, which they did on a Sunday. After finishing but before leaving, Ricardo walked me around my house so that I could check the work. He also mentioned that there was a 1-year warranty on their work and if I find any problems in the meantime to contact them and they will return to resolve. The excellent service did not stop there. Sam actually came to my home one Saturday morning with a steaming cup of Starbuck?s to check to see if everything was okay and to remind me that if I find anything not meeting with my satisfaction to contact him. If ever I have need of Friendly?s services, I will definitely contact Sam again.

I was in a bit of a bind and called Friendly Painting on Tuesday. They came that afternoon and did an estimate. They were the best estimate I got and were able to come today, two days later. Promptly at 830 a.m. with a team of 4 and quickly got to work. They taped and covered everything, did a great job prepping the walls and patching holes and one crack. Within hours the first layers of paint were up. By 4-ish, they'd finished two coats in my bedroom, living/dining room (with vaulted ceilings), stairway, hallway and loft/bedroom. They also did all of the trim and doors. The guys were friendly, super professional and did an excellent job. I'd love to have them come again! I highly recommend them.

Tom came to our home the day after we spoke with him over the phone. He did the estimate very promptly and was willing to work with us on price, since we were on a tight budget. We were ecstatic that he was able to come on a Saturday as well! Not only that, but he told us he would be able to match the paint color in our family room to the foyer and formal living room. The previous owners did not save the information on the paint color in the family room; we only knew it was Benjamin Moore. Tom also told us that his crew could finish our job in one day. We were a little skeptical, since it seemed like a pretty big job, but we decided to trust the positive reviews. We emailed our specs and requested paint colors to Tom. The crew showed up EARLY on Saturday and got to work right away. They fixed any imperfections in the walls (nail pops, etc.) and carefully moved and covered all furniture. We appreciated this, since we had just moved in recently and still had little messes everywhere. The crew was courteous and accomodating, and the team leader even apologized for taking a long time...even though they finished before 3pm! This is the first time we've hired painters for such a big job; but I'd say nearly a whole house's worth of painting done in less than a day seems more than reasonable to me! They cleaned up and left all the furniture and items exactly as they found it. The paint looks amazing and there is not a drop out of place. Our only regret is that we didn't get our family room redone...you can definitely tell the difference in our house between the professional and amateur paint jobs! I'd highly recommend Friendly and will definitely use them again in the future.

I had used Friendly Painting before and was very pleased with their work and price so I decided to use them again. The estimator was here on same day that I called for a job estimate. Once more Friendly Painting did a great job. A five man team showed up on time and got right to work. The men worked very well together and were pleasant and professional. The supervisor, Ricardo, was very easy to deal with and used his team effectively. It was quite clear that Ricardo was truly interested in doing an excellent job and satisfying the customer. I will definitely use Friendly Painting for any of my future painting and repair work.

The crew arrived early and got right to work. There was no furniture in the house to move but they carefully covered all floors and fixtures. They finished ahead of schedule and cleaned up everything.

They did an excellent job. The very professionally moved and covered everything in the apartment from the moment they came through the door. The were very accomodating to my paint grade and manufacturer preferences (they actually didn't even charge me for the upgrade). Everything was done swiftly and professionally. As icing on the cake, they were far cheaper than other contractors I solicited quotes from as well.

Called and was able to schedule a day for an estimate immediately. Selected the colors and notified the company of selections. Company was able to schedule the job almost immediately (within days). On day of painting, workers arrived promptly and immediately began to work. Crew worked hard the entire day and were professional and cleaned up as they went. Crew did an excellent job of clean up and putting the furniture and fixtures back where they were. Service and workmanship was exceptional and crew boss was very professional and regularly checked to see how things were going. Would highly recommend.

This company was great! After contacting them, they scheduled the estimate for the next day. The work was then scheduled for the following week. They brought a large crew and finished the job in 1 day. Everyone was friendly and punctual. Can't say enough good things!!

They arrived on time with a large crew of men, and very professionally ensured carpets, hardwood floors and furniture were protected. IT took 2 days for all the work initially, and they came back 2 weeks later to apply the second coat of the deck sealant and touch up any minor problems with the paint.

Following a light installation which left a number of holes in our drywall, we contacted four different Angies List "A" grade painting and drywall companies for estimates. We finally chose Friendly Painting and so glad we did. Where other companies either never responded, or when they did, they told us we would have to replace all the drywall on our ceiling, or provided a price which was much, much, higher, Mr. Seo of Friendly Painting gave us both a reasonable time, and cost, estimate. After visiting our home, he assured us the job could be completed in two days - and it was. Ricardo and his crew arrived like a small army and immediately got down to work. They were professional, efficient and were just a pure pleasure to have in our home. They responded to every request and took a clear pride in their work. As a result, our interior was painted to perfection and the drywall looks like new. The owner and Sam also came by during the work day to ensure that all was going according to plan and to see if we were pleased with the progress. We could not be happier with their work and we plan to work with them again on future projects.

.The entire process was quick and easy. They came out for the estimate, and followed up with me. hey set the date up two days in advance and were on time. The owner sent out enough people to do the entire job in one day. Wonderful. Highly recommended and we will use them again.

Mr. Seo and the team are this company are extremely professional. I can't believe it took me this long to write a review. I would like to begin with their scheduling coordinator. The young man is extremely polite and is excellent with follow-up, before and after appointments. Always courteous and asking if it the right time to call. Also, Mr. Seo, who gave us the estimate and came to our house twice was great! he was prompt and answered all questions we had. To put us at ease, he even brought the person who will be performing the job along with him, the second time. They gave me measurements for doors and what to order, when they didn't have to. you could tell that this company takes their business and respects their clients. The only reason we didn't use them, is that as some point, we felt that it would be a good idea to find a good GC that can do everything, so we don't have to piece out the jobs. However, that did not work out. If we do piece the jobs out and remodel a little at a time, i have NO DOUBT, we will use them.

Friendly replied to my inquiry within hours of posting. Estimator came out the next day. Quote was very reasonable. We have 18' cathedral walls/ceilings/crown molding which I thought was going to require scaffolding. Friendly's team of 10 painters showed up and like an army, proceeded to move furniture, take down artwork, remove curtains, tape cover and prep the entire first floor. Within an hour every room on the main level was being painted. We were amazed. Next they worked with specialty poles and techniques to repair significant water damage issues in the drywall and paint 18 feet in the air. Truly outstanding. They completely transformed our staircase from a builders grade, blah, oak stained bore to a sanded, primed and painted dramatic black on white showcase piece. Oh, and then we added an additional bedroom for painting at the end of the job. No problem, just a fair quote and the room was done in short order. The crew chief, Ricardo, was extremely attentive. Our concerns regarding quality and care of our furnishings were unfounded. These guys are true professionals and we received a masterful craftsman paint job. The house looks terrific. Do not hesitate, call friendly for a high quality job, prompt turnaround and greatest value. We will absolutely use them again. Really, they were that good.

The company contacted us via phone the day after we sent them an e-mail via Angie's List. A few days later, I met with the estimators. The work started the following week and completed way before the estimated day of completion. The painting was professionally done, clean, and completely exceeded our expectations. Don't be discouraged by their language proficiency; we were able to communicate what we needed and the results were fantastic.

It went very well. Tom was easy to get a hold of throughout the job and accommodating of me during the process. Very minor issues in some of the paint work and they were quick to fix it before I even asked. The final product is exactly what I was looking for, I'd use them again.
