Rick Williams came to go over the work and give an estimate. I was pleased to find they use only their own workers, no contractors. Their workers are all either legal US citizens or have a green card. The workers were clean, professional and punctual. And every day before leaving they cleaned up ALL debris. I was very pleased with their work and workers. Several neighbors have commented on what a good job they did and a neighbor has just come to my door to ask who I used for the exterior painting - I was pleased recommend this company

I had a fantastic experience with Williams Professional Painting. My husband and I just moved to Virginia from Minnesota and we found Williams Professional Painting through Angie's list. I received estimates from three different painters and Dave Williams' estimate was the priced in the middle of the other two. But the reason I picked them was Dave's professionalism and responsiveness. He offered some great advice on questions I had throughout the house and his administrative team was quick and polite in responding to my questions. The crew began just two weeks later and did a beautiful job. Not only that they were very respectful of my privacy and were extremely professional. They also gladly did a few "honey do" items for me while they were here. They were a joy to have in the house and were fantastic about patching up and correcting little imperfections in the walls and ceiling that I hadn't even noticed. After the job was finished Williams Professional Painting offered services of their carpenter who works on an hourly basis to hang up all the art work. Juan, the carpenter, was very, very careful with all his measurements and, like the painters, was so conscientious. He even, when asked, offered some advice on the height at which to hang some pieces. Williams Professional Painting did a great job and they were a godsend to someone like me who is new to the area and had no one from who to get referrals. I was also impressed that Dave, the owner, stopped in twice during the job to check to see if I was satisfied.

They are wonderful to work with. Yanize sent me an e-mail notifying me of the day they would arrive (I had been given a window of times they might come, depending on the weather). They showed up at 7:15 on the day they said they would but didn't ring the bell until 7:30, as promised. I walked through the house with them and showed them what needed to be done (Walter had the e-mail I had sent originally which outlined what was to be done). The painters (Walter and Andres) asked a few questions and immediately started on the deck, since it looked like rain. They moved the deck furniture off and put it back after it had dried. Then they moved inside to paint a master bedroom and cove molding and baseboard. I was please at how careful they were in moving the furniture, etc. They asked several times if I was happy with the color and how it was progressing. They had to come over a 2-day period to finish up some odds-and-ends painting for me. In total, the job took 1 and 1/2 days. I am so pleased! Walter even figured out the way to handle a recurring problem I have had with sun cracking paint on a windowsill. He really worked h****** resolving that and I think it will last a long time, in spite of the heat bearing down!

Once again terrific company to work with. Got work done sooner than expected and it was a beautiful job. After ceilings and walls got holes cut in them for new lights and a wall monted tv, Jose came back and patched and painted. When he was done, you would not have believed what it looked like before his excellent work. Highly, highly recommend

So far dealings have been very prompt, courteous and professional. If I hire them I will update this review.

The crew arrived on time and worked all day. They tried hard to get the job done before the rain came but did not succeed. They did a great job and stopped working when the first rain drops fell. They came back for another day and again where on time and did a great job cleaning up.

Painters/carpenters ultimately did an excellent job of replacing wood, repairing and painting. When issues arose during the process, Mr. Williams himself came by to discuss and he personally made sure issues were resolved. We were very impressed with the work of the back office and particularly the personal involvement of Mr. Williams in making sure everything was done to our satisfaction. We would definitely use them again when the need arises for more painting work on our home.

The plaster ceiling in one of our bedrooms collapsed due to age. After our carpenter put in new sheet rock, Williams came on short notice to paint the room. We were having a Sunday brunch with a house full of people so we needed the ceiling repaired and the room painted on extremely short notice. Williams Painting who we have used in the past, responded perfectly to our situation and did as always a very professional job.

Alvis (the estimator) was prompt and responsive. We purchased the house in July, and requested costs for the above work, as well as potentially additional work (painting the living room, and painting the in-law suite in the basement). He broke down the costs for each section, allowing us to pick which work we wanted done. They also were very helpful in coming out to paint the window trim in one room that we needed painted before installing new blinds. The onsite crew looked at the areas to be painted with us before proceeding. They were prompt in arrival times, and completed the work within the estimated time frame. There were a few drips onto the radiators that I found months after the painting (so obviously not reported to the company as it took me so long to find them!). But other than that, they did a really great job, and it's held up nicely so far.

Dave is a consummate professional. I also know we are in good hands with his team, especially Juan. They are on-time, courteous, thorough and easy to work with. I met Dave through work he did in my office and saw what a great job he did there so we used him when we were getting ready to sell our house and he worked on the new house. We will use him again - probably soon as I have my eye on some more projects!

The price stands out the most. They schedule a date in a time you to come and sometimes, they won't show up. They got the job done and they were excellent.

William gave an estimate for a whole house painting project. We were impressed by the fact that he was punctual, professional and courteous. We ended up not using them but will seriously consider doing so for future work.

Milton Chavez provided a written estimate (for labor and materials) that was in line with actual costs. This was not the lowest estimate we received, but did seem to be in line with the skill level of the workers who did the repairs. I was impressed by their ability to work together as a team and to communicate closely with us for the three days they were on site. Both master carpenters, Dagoberto Rodriguez and another gentleman whose name I cannot recall, were thoroughly professional in every respect. While they were at work, I felt our house was in good hands. It was a pleasure to work with them. We would definitely hire them again for future work.

When we decided to paint the rooms on the main floor of our town house and contacted several painting companies, it became immediately clear to us, after meeting with Alvis Hermes, that we would choose Williams Professional Painting. As their representative, Alvis conveyed to us everything that we needed to know and was so reassuring and easy to converse with. During the entire painting process, he always returned our calls and emails promptly and courteously. Choosing Williams Professional Painting was the best decision ever. We wrote to Alvis and to the owner of the company, thanking Alvis for his guidance and patience throughout the process and for referring us to Janeen Braddock, whose consultations were so valuable in helping us to decide among so many lovely Benjamin Moore colors. She drove out here in heavy snow bringing new paint samples, to make sure that we could finalize our paint choices with confidence. Amazing! We can't begin to say how pleased we are with the beautiful job that the painters, Jose, Omar and Ricardo, did. They were very professional, punctual and responsive to all our questions. We were surprised to find two layers of wall paper in the kitchen. They did a remarkable job of removing them, despite the considerable difficulty this job entailed. Our painters worked steadily and systematically until the surface was beautifully prepared for the new paint. Throughout the whole painting process, our painters remained cheerful, accommodating, respectful of our needs and were very neat as they worked and during cleanup. We are so happy and excited with the results, as the rooms look exactly as we want them to be. We get so much pleasure each time we come downstairs to see our beautiful, bright rooms. After seeing the great results, we definitely intend to use Williams Professional Painting to complete the process for our upstairs level and lower level family room. We also intend to recommend this company to our neighbors and to our townhouse development's corporate office, with the greatest confidence. This is the fourth or fifth time I've used Williams Paint and I am always impressed by the quality of their work, their professionalism and their courtesy and hard work. I never bother getting another estimate. This project was a messy job given the deterioration in the room and I was impressed by the care the workers took, wearing masks and overalls. They worked steadily and carefully and finished in a remarkable two days. The place looks great and I highly recommend the company.

So I'm not going to go with these guys for the job. I really think they did a lousy job on my quote. The individual who provided me with a quote parked in my neighbor's assigned spot (I live in a townhome community) and initially refused to move when I asked. I basically had to ask him twice. I could have moved on from that but ultimately I feel his estimate and the time he took explaining the scope of work was subpar. There is clear wood rot in some parts of my exterior trim and he suggested fixing them with wood putty. When I pushed on this, he gave the option of wood or PVC replacement but explained that the carpentry work is per hour and wouldn't be included in his quote. He took quite a bit of time to provide a quote (he came to my home at lunch on a Thursday and did not provide the quote until Friday evening) and when I received it I discovered that the quote was not itemized and it was somewhat difficult to tell exactly what was and was not included. Not to mention the price quoted; Williams is $1200 higher than the cheapest quote I received (including my own estimate of carpentry work that would need to be done) and is still ~$800 greater than any other quote I received thus far. In summary, Williams charges more than other painters, suggests shady repairs (ie putty to wood rot), and provides non-itemized quotes. Why would I hire them?

We had two full bathrooms renovated and needed to have the rooms painted. Williams came highly recommended on Angie's List which I religiously rely on before I engage a business. The company had a estimator scheduled the day I called during the following work week based on our availability. Alvis was well versed in the latest options for painting our spaces. He recommended a Matte finish and we both agreed on a Sherwin Williams paint. We needed one of the bathroom ceilings painted and Alvis recommended that the second bathroom ceiling was in good shape and did not need to be painted. We also got a quote for a stairwell and hallway. Finally, the kitchen ceiling needed both repair and painting. Alvis recommended painting the adjoining hall ceiling since there was no separation but suggested that we wait on painting the ceiling of our living and dining rooms that were separated but on same floor with the kitchen since, once again, the ceiling was in good shape so no need to spend the money. The crew showed up on time and focused on the two bathrooms on the first day. By the time I got home that evening, they had prepped the walls and one ceiling and had painted two coats of paint on one bathroom and one coat of paint on the second bathroom. While the paint work was excellent, the prep work in a number of spots in both bathrooms was not acceptable. I informed Alvis who promised me that the crew would resolve any concern we had. We proceeded to mark each spot that needed to be sanded and/or skim coated for the next morning. Alvis showed up the next day to ensure that the crew resolved all of our concerns. Once again, by the time I got home from work, the walls looked great, there were multiple coats of paint on both bathrooms, both ceilings had been prepped and painted to our satisfaction. The matte finish minimized accentuating any imperfections and the paint work was excellent - the crew also didi an excellent job of keeping paint off of the trim and cleaning up after each day. I would employ their services again and will have them paint the stairwell and hallway in the near future.

Very nice people and very good job. Just expensive. At least that's my opinion, but you can judge for yourselves. The sunroom is small (8 feet by 11) with windows on two sides. The job was to paint the walls only -- no ceiling or woodwork. They did substantial prep work on one wall which had some "alligatoring." The bathroom also is relatively small, but it has two skylights. The bathroom job included the ceiling but no woodwork. They did two coats in both rooms. The painters (2) were on site from 8:30 to 4:30 on day one and 8:30 to 12:30 on day two, so a total of 12 hours (although on day one, one painter left for a little over an hour). On day one, they were preparing to leave at 3:30, but I asked them to finish the sunroom. They put the second coat on in an hour. The total price for the job was $1800, which seemed high for the amount of labor. That price did include the paint (Sherwin Williams) and supplies. Again, the finished product was very good. I'm just not sure that I'd use them again based on pricing.

Our foremand and painter, Franklin, arrived and assessed the needs for the room he was painting and the dining room wall he was repairing. He used tarps on his pathways in/out and through the house, taking great care to clean up every speck from his work areas. He was very nimble working around washer, dryer, hot water heater, furnace, ductwork, and utility sink. He patched all holes, caulked around window trim, applied drylock to masonry walls, He was meticulous in his edging around ductwork, floor molding, cords and wires. When he checked the paint for the dining room wall touch-up, he advised us that the paint was too old and had deteriorated. He left to purchase the new paint. He completed the work within the 8 hour time frame. He was a pleasure to have in our home...very personable, respectful, and courteous...he worked quietly and non-stop! Would recommend him in a heartbeat. An excellent representative for Williams Professional Painting!

Well pleased with the professional service and overall quality.

They did a good job. They did a fine job especially the exteriors. They were very professional. There was this one item that they missed, they came back and they took care of it.

They did a good job; better attention to detail than other painters I have worked with. Their price is above average, but not unreasonable. There was very little re-work that needed to be done. I was quite satisfied.

I have never worked with a better vendor. The owner of the company met with us prior to the project starting and outlined the process. He helped identified colors and sent someone to paint samples on the wall so we could select one color. The team was so professional and took great care of our furniture and other belongings. The final product was superb and I will use them for any future projects

We selected Williams because they came in with a reasonable estimate and they had done our exterior painting several years ago. They were available when we wanted them (we actually were away part of the time) and were very accommodating in supporting our color choices. The job was done carefully; in fact we had no reasons to even ask them to return for even small fixes.
