 + 1 moreWe were in the process of closing on our new home, when Dave Williams met us as the property for our initial estimate. We wanted everything inside the home painted prior to moving in, trim and walls. It took a week, but Franklin and his team did a great job. They laid paper down on our newly finished floors and plastic over the furniture to protect everything. If Franklin was unsure about anything, he asked questions before any mistakes could have been made. Dave stopped by several times to check on the quality and progress of the work and to see if I was satisfied. Their professionalism was great. We had some exterior work done as well, including siding with wet rot. That was completed in one afternoon. They matched the paint of the existing siding to make sure it coordinated with the house. Our plans are to change the existing color of the trim next summer. We will be calling Dave again!

As they were working they made useful suggestions about modifying the color of paint we had initially selected and how best to paint trickier places in the room. They were a pleasure to have working in our home and would recommend them to anyone.

 + 2 morehave used Williams Professional Painting for three jobs, including painting, dry wall and calking. Their work has been really outstanding. This is a company that is very serious when it says it will do everything to make sure the client is satisfied. When I asked that some of the work they did be touched up a bit they did so promptly and professionally. I dealt with Rick Williams and Walter Osegueda and found them to be extremely helpful, professional and dedicated. I will use Williams Professional Painting for any painting job I have because, frankly, I cannot imagine any other company being as serious about making sure the client is 100% satisfied.
Description of Work: The work date above is only the latest. I have used Williams Professional painting for various jobs over the past 2 years.They did interior and exterior painting. They also tracked down the cause of a leak and repaired it, entailing drywall work and calking. Their repair has withstood some really bad storms.

 + 0 moreThey did an amazing job with very difficult wallpaper removal in one room, and the walls look flawless. The entire project was done very professionally. The project manager checked on the progress and communicated with us almost every day. We needed one extra coat in the entire house and they did not raise the estimated cost. We were very impressed and would recommend Williams Professional Painting to anyone.
Description of Work: Wallpaper removal and painting of 9 rooms, hallways and staircase plus painting of closets, trim and built-in bookshelves. Touch up oak cabinets in kitchen and bathroom.

 + 1 moreSince we saved money and were happy with the exterior work they did, we asked the Williams Professionals to help us with some interior work needed. This included drywall ceiling work in the garage where some electrical work had been done. Bringing that area up to code and painting the ceiling made such a difference in the garage. In the same manner, they successfully sealed over a section of paneling - holes that were left in the family room wall paneling, and an area of paneling in the kitchen - due to the removal of an old intercom system. They were able to skillfully match those areas to the paneled areas which had been previously painted and you would never know the holes had been there. They also touched up areas in the utility room that brightened it up and trimwork in the kitchen. Everything looks refreshed and clean. So happy we hired them and recommend them to anyone who really wants the job done right from start to finish!
Description of Work: Our whole house exterior looked faded and two areas needed painting, the porch front entrance and the area leading from the kitchen to the patio. We didn't need a whole house paint job, but what to do? If we painted the two sections and left the rest, the contrast would not look good. The Williams Professionals provided the answer suggesting a whole house "Hand Wash" as opposed to a power wash which might strip the areas where the paint was still intact. The dust and grime was more gently removed. The result was perfect, it looked as if the whole house was newly painted, it really looks great ! We were also pleased with their attention to detail, painting the front and side entrances. We were happy not to have to go to the extra expense of a whole house paint job that wasn't needed. They live up to their name and their pricing was reasonable. We would hire them again and did ask them to do some interior work and are equally pleased with the results!

Description of Work: I asked Williams Painting to paint my master bedroom, including the ceiling and all the trim after moving back into my home. They did a great job preparing the walls which had a couple cracks and alot of nail holes. They worked efficiently and kept me informed of their progress. I decided that I wanted to paint the hallway and stairwell after seeing how nice the bedroom was looking. Although I hadn't initially thought of painting the hallway and stairwell, I asked if they would be able to do so. They were very accommodating and added those areas to their work. I couldn't have been happier with their work and will definitely have them do more work in my home.

They did what I needed, excellent job replacing damaged siding, painting and cleaning the area. They were careful with the existing plantings and very kind to my "helping" golden retriever. Definitely recommend using for a first or second time.

 + -1 moreThey did a great job. Everything went well and the woodwork looks nice. They were really responsive. If I had any questions or concerns, they got back to me very quickly. They were very neat when they did the work; there was no mess and they taped off the baseboards. The price was a little more expensive than other people but I found them to be worth it. I absolutely would use them again.

 + 3 moreI met the lead painter assigned to the job site and walked through the job with him. They had already arrived and were taping the baseboard and putting down plastic to protect the floors. I check in with them during the day and they have my contact information in case there's a question. I walk the job again with the painters after they finish and if there's something that was overlooked or needs a touch-up, they immediately take care of it. I am always pleased with their work.
Description of Work: I have used Williams for several years now to prepare homes I list for sale in the Northern Virginia area. Their crews are excellent and pay close attention to detail, preparation and clean-up. I have tried other painting companies over the years but I always come back to Williams.

 + 0 moreWilliams Professional Painting was very responsive in arranging a visit to our home to review the scope of work. Alvis was professional and polite. Their proposal was very detailed, but the carpentry work wasn't priced other than an hourly labor rate that would be charged for the work. In addition, there was a limit on the number of paint colors we could use without incurring additional costs. Considering, we were having the majority of our house paintined, we preferred to have more flexibility in our selection. In the end, the interior price proposal was comparable to our other quote, but the exterior price proposal was significantly more and didn't include replacement of rotten wood. In the end, we chose another contractor.

He agreed to provide me with the first available opening each time I called. The rooms were painted 04.25.2012, 05.02.2012 and 05.11.2012, each job within a week of a phone call, Painters are courteous, personable, and committed to doing the best job to your satisfaction. Each painter introduced himself upon entering the house. We were able to come and go while they worked. The painters covered and protected furniture, floors and carpeting before they began to work. We are repeat customers of Williams Professional Painting and they have done excellent work every time.

 + 0 moreI had rec'd several quotes that were all very close and went with Dave due to the comfortable chat we had about the job. All companies were well researched and had very high ratings. The job took two weeks with 2-3 guys working on it. I wasn't concerned about the length of time, I just wanted a terrific paint job. My wife who is pretty meticulous would identify something she didn't think was just right and they'd fix it quickly and completely. By the time they had finished we had a terrific paint job. 10K is a lot of money, but I felt I certainly got my moneys worth from Dave and his team. I think most folks look for best value, that's what I think I got from Dave and his guys. I'd recommend them.
