Ultimate Remodel LLC

This review is a bit late--two years after the work was done--but given that everything that Tunc and his crew did has held up and we are still as happy as the day they finished the work, I felt compelled to give them a review! We carefully searched Angie's List to find a contractor, and after extensive review of the top contractors, we selected three to interview. One asked us to send pictures and dimensions of the rooms involved in the remodel. The second company sent out a young man with a nice metal clipboard who knew little to nothing about remodeling. The third company, Ultimate Remodel, was a unbelievable--the owner came out on a Saturday and spent over an hour with us talking about what we wanted, the work involved with our various thoughts and the recapture of our investment if we were to sell the house in the not too distant future (in the course of conversation, he learned we will retire within five years and plan to move further south). Needless to say, we went with Ultimate Remodel, and I must add that their quote was not higher than the other two. Tunc stayed in constant contact with us throughout the process and he was always a text message, email or phone call away. He was very helpful in his suggestions regarding material, and his crew was respectful and cleaned up the house at the end of each day.

The entire experience, from beginning to end, was very positive. Tunch was extremely knowledgeable concerning the plans and challenges for our long awaited kitchen renovation. He gave smart recommendations and listened carefully to our ideas. The material options available in the Ultimate Remodel showroom were fantastic, and the advice Tunch gave was invaluable. We gave him a very tight completion timeline, right at the holidays, and he and his team rose to the challenge. We couldn't imagine how they would do it, but they did, and it is beautiful. Best Christmas present ever! Our family and friends were amazed.

Tunch came to the house and understood the scope of the project and the detailed drawings from the interior designer. He said he would send us an estimate for the job and never did. He didn't even respond to my text asking him what happened.

Tunc and his staff did an amazing job on our kitchen reno! The quality for the price is excellent and they were very attentive to detail. They finished in the timeline that was originally discussed and stayed within budget. Would definitely use them again!

Very glad I found this company. Tunc and his team were wonderful, accommodating our wishes and making the best use of our guest bathroom space. The only part we kept was the toilet, and we picked all and purchased most of the items to be installed. With all the work and materials we made it to short under $12,000. Very happy and would recommend Tunc and his team anytime.

Tunc's team was amazing and the entire remodel process went smoothly. This is not usually the case with remodeling projects. Here are some highlights: - Tunc came himself to do the estimate, and checked in frequently to make sure the job was proceeding well. - The crew was friendly and really nice. - The work was really excellent. All involved were really conscientious about details. - The cost was in the middle of the range of estimates we received. Based on our experiences, we would definitely use them again for future, bigger projects (e.g. kitchen, bathroom).

Ultimate Remodel recently completed our basement and bath remodel on time, on budget and with a minimum of stress on our part. The work was beautifully done. We had a great experience with Tunc and his team. We had two full bathrooms and a powder room remodeled and we love how they turned out. Tunc provided us a very reasonable quote and also had very helpful suggestions regarding design choices etc. The crew were professional and timely. They maintained great communication with us and were extremely responsive to all suggestions, questions requests etc. We are loving our new bathrooms and wouldn't hesitate to work with Ultimate Remodel again. We are very pleased with our new bathroom, particularly the quick and efficient manner in which it was installed. Tunc is very pleasant to work with, as are his staff, and visited our property at no cost to take measurements, make suggestions for the layout, and provide an estimate. He listened to our concerns and patiently answered our questions. They started the work quickly after signing the contract, and finished in less than two weeks. As with most general contractors the fine details are left up to the customer, which was fine with us as we knew what we wanted. The team quickly fixed items that we initially weren't happy with and did not give us a hard time for these mid-stream adjustment requests. We will definitely consider their services again for our next remodel project.

This was our first remodel, and we are so glad we chose Ultimate Remodel! Tunch patiently walked through all the details with us, helping us plan each detail of the project. He helped us select cabinet colors, tile, and paint colors. He even assured us that there would be no hidden costs to repair a leak in the shower--and there weren't. He was patient and professional throughout the project. His team of workers was courteous and professional. They worked diligently and completed the projected within the projected timeframe. We found minor caulk and paint issues, but Tunch and the team didn't stop until we were satisfied. Tunch runs a very professional company. We were completely satisfied with the project and wouldn't hesitate to call them for future projects!

Excellent work. Tunch, the owner of Ultimate Remodeling, is very conscientious about their work and was eager to listen to me and meet my expectations. He had me send pictures of items I found online and let me know if they would work on my bathrooms or not. He responded to my inquiries, most of the time via emails which was more efficient for both of us, promptly. Prompt response is what all customers want. I really appreciated it. I have hired quite a few companies for repair/remodel of my house but Ultimate Remodeling was the first company I was ever requested to send them a "punch list" toward the end of the work. Tunch asked me to list anything I felt that should be touched up or finished up before I make the final payment. Then, he sent the crew the day after receiving my punch list and took care of the final touch. Only what I am afraid of now is Ultimate Remodeling might become too big too soon for a small customer like myself.

Every once in a while you find a gem of a company that not only meets, but exceeds, your expectations. This is the case with Ultimate Remodel, LLC, which recently completed a granite installation project in our kitchen and a bathroom. Every aspect of the project was professional, on schedule and focused on my customer satisfaction. When I added to the scope of the project and changed some initial selections, Tunch and his partners easily accommodated those changes. From our first meeting, Tunch gave me great advice and arranged access to the broadest selection of materials. I have already recommended Ultimate Remodel, LLC to several others and will definitely use him again for any remodeling or design project in the future.

Kitchen remodel went very well, Tunc is easy to work with and his design was very nice. We are very happy with the end product. Workers started on time, though once the majority of the work was done it was hard to figure out when the final touches were going to be made.

Overall, the project went exceptionally well. We initially interviewed three companies and Ultimate Remodel by far surpassed the others in their willingness to work through different design concepts and entertain our thoughts and concerns. The customer service and responsiveness was outstanding throughout the process. Every issue that popped up--which is impossible to avoid given the scope of the project and a 60-year old house--was dealt with promptly and completely to my satisfaction. If I were to do it all over again, I would hire Ultimate Remodel without hesitation. Very happy to recommend them to others.

The manager worked with out to determine our design choices, to include several items that we planned to purchase ourselves and incorporate into the project. The work started on time and within the three week window that was promised when we signed the contract. The team was very efficient and professional in completing the work. All the tasks were completed according to the budget without additional unplanned charged. The team used high quality materials and worked with us to address a few remaining items at the end of the project. My wife and I could not be happier with the results. We've already recommended this company to several neighbors. We highly recommend them to you.

This is the fifth (!) bathroom we have had remodeled by Ultimate Remodel (as well as a kitchen in our previous home)--that's how much I trust and rely on Tunch and his company! Pictures cannot do justice to just how beautiful our master bathroom turned out. Working with him is always a delight--he has great suggestions on what things work well together (cabinetry, tile, countertops) and it helps to be able to make your selections at one location at the same time. He or his brother stop by the jobsite every day so there is continual oversight--this is not a large company that churns out jobs and you never see the owner. Tunch uses his own employees--no subcontractors here. Any if there are any issues or questions, Tunch is quickly responsiveness. We spent a bit more than anticipated, but that was our decision--this was our dream bathroom so we wanted a soaking tub, a hard-wire towel warmer, quartz countertop, and a bidet toilet seat. Do yourself a favor and let Ultimate Remodel give you the remodeled bathroom or kitchen of your dreams.

Tunc and his team did a terrific job on our Master Bathroom remodel! After our shower pan cracked, we decided to redo the entire bathroom. We received three quotes, and Ultimate Remodel was easily the best of the three. Tunc kept everything simple and easy for us, and was incredibly responsive throughout the process. The team did a terrific job, the materials were high quality, and the finished product looks amazing... Thank you!

I could not be happier with the results: design, quality, and professionalism. We interviewed a variety of kitchen designers and contractors who suggested “the only way” to get what we wanted in a kitchen remodel was to bump-out our home, and went so far as to have an architect create plans for the addition. Then we met Tunch. He was the only person who told us we could get everything we needed from a design perspective without the costly bump-out. He solved all our problems with his design. He also has an excellent eye and a great way of guiding you to solutions that work. There is no mystery with Tunch and his team – he is completely transparent about all aspects of the project, honest about potential hiccups, and is straightforward about what can be done – and what cannot happen. All questions were addressed promptly. Finally, I cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism of the entire team. They were very kind, polite, and respectful to each member of our family and to our home during the entire time they were here. Construction is a messy business – but there were never messes left in our home.

Tunc Ayodogdu is a pleasure to work with. He provides extremely professional planning and production, at a reasonable cost. He has vast experience and provides expert suggestions, along with the pros/cons of doing project in various ways. He is candid, honest, and trustworthy in his dealings with customer, and his teams are well prepared for the work. Ultimate Remodel has performed two renovations for us on time at the estimated cost, and we recommend him without reservation whatsoever.

Tunch Aydo was, sadly, very unprofessional, condescending and wasted my valuable time. I found Ultimate Remodeling LLC on Angie's List and contacted Tunch Aydo about providing an estimate for my (well thought out) project. I gave a brief description of the project needs and we agreed on a date and time to meet at the subject property. As I have done this before, I know the process for estimates, contracts, planning, execution and closure of projects, so I am eager to get my estimates. As soon as Tunch saw me, he visibly became aloof and then dismissive. I greeted him then I committedly proceeded to describe and show my home's areas for remodel. He, in no uncertain terms, inferred and declared that I should not do what I want or I should do something cheaper. Instead of listening to the potential customer, he would cut me off and give me opposing propositions to do lesser or cheaper than what I want. For example: one of my bathrooms, an 8x13 needs tile removed, add radiant heat with dedicated electrical line then replace with fresh new tile - other recent estimates were reasonable and detailed at $3k - $4k for that 1 floor project (depending on quality of materials chosen). He said that I should "put down a heating pad from Home Depot" instead (I was agog but gently declined the suggestion). Yet undeterred, I moved on, as he disregarded everything that I tried to discuss about my vision. He took no notes or measurements but not 7 minutes later I led him out the door as he claimed that he would get back to me with an estimate. As implied, I have never heard from him again. There was no acrimony towards or from me, I was gracious and only thinking of my project needs, and it's just an estimate so not sure why this condescension and disdain from Mr. Aydo. I would never select or hire someone who, even after he agreed to provide an estimate, was so overtly dismissive without even trying or explaining why. I'm a very busy woman and was disappointed that he wasted my valuable time and that he displayed no subject matter knowledge, and finally he was dishonest about following up.
