Tunch and the crew from Ultimate Remodel exceeded all my expectations. They were professional, punctual and highly skilled at their work. I was impressed with the level of attention provided by Tunch and his brother...It was clear that the work crew respected them and vice versa. The crew worked very well together. They cleaned as they went, and at the end of each workday no trash was left sitting. The greatest discovery for me was the quality of the work a ship. I could not be more delighted. I have already recommended them to a family member and intend to have them remodel my kitchen next. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.! Truly nice, caring contractors who do exactly what they say they will..and do it very,very well!!

I have to admit that I can be picky and hard to please. I have high standards. Somehow Ultimate Remodel met them. They were patient in helping me pick out tile, cabinets, fixtures, etc. They were clear in terms of how much time things would take. They were very reasonably priced especially given the quality of the work. I love my two bathrooms and would hire them again in an instant. Examples of why I am giving them such a high rating include: a) they said they would be at my house each day between 8 and 8:30. They were. The first thing they did each time was to lay heavy canvas to protect my floors from dust and the last thing they did each day was clean everything. I expected dust. They did everything they could to minimize it; b) I left much of the vanity specifications to Utilmate Remodel. Even though the contract did not specify it, when the vanities showed up (including one with seven drawers), all the drawers were the self-closing silent type. An added plus I had not expected; c) every day the supervisor came by in the morning and at the end of the day to make sure everything was going well. If I had any issues he or the owner would come by. When I expressed concern over a toilet the next day it was replaced with a nicer one than I had expected (I had only asked for regular v. elongated because of the size of the space). When I did not like a few accent tiles that were already grouted in (they were natural stone and had cracks) they were replaced the next day. When I did not like using the floor tile for base board they put in white wood base board, no issues, no extra charge. It was often little things like I decided I wanted a towel bar v. a towel ring or needed a shower curtain ? they just took care of it for no extra charge. They never said no we can?t do that or argued. They just wanted me to be happy.; d) when the tile I had picked out for the bathroom floor turned out to have differing grain patterns (these tiles were from a store they don?t always use) they called me over and we decided together which ones to use where. They then worked on the shower wall and found a way to make the differing patterns mix in and look amazing; e) they are nice people. The owner and his brother and cousins are the supervisors. They have other workers that seem to have been with them a long time and who are extremely respectful. The work took about ten business days for two bathrooms with a few days off when I had conflicts and did not want them working while I was not home (I have a dog that does not do well when workers are in the house and I am not). They accommodated my schedule but except for when I asked them not to work, they worked every day. They were clear before I signed the contract about the one thing that would take longer, the frameless glass shower, but explained that it needed to be exact and could only be measured once the shower was done. I had original 1960s bathrooms and they had to gut them to the studs but they did so in one day for each bathroom. They hauled away the trash every day as well. The bathrooms were a lot of work, every single thing was replaced, but they did a terrific job in a very short time. They know what they are doing, don't start until they have everything ready to go, and plan each days work well. Their tile workers do a very good job - nice clean lines making the tile look great. I would definitely hire again.

For background: we are highly experienced with different types of remodeling having had our house and parents' condo completely remodeled over the years (build addition, remodel two kitchens, remodel 4 bathrooms, etc.). So we know what we want and what distinguishes a good contractor from a bad one. Tunch and Ultimate Remodel is an OUTSTANDING contractor. Here is the why. We bought a 1993 single family house for my parents that hasn't been updated since it was built. We wanted it completely remodeled before they moved in. The scope of work included: - Gut and remodel existing kitchen. Put solid wood cabinets, Cambria quartz countertops, tile floors, new appliances, subway tile backsplash, etc. This included a demolition of existing pantry. - Gut and remodel two bathrooms - Replace carpet floors with hardwood (Acacia / Asian Walnut -- gorgeous wood by the way) - Install fans throughout the house. - Replace ugly old outlets, switches, door hinges, door hardware. Paint the whole house. Tunch originally quoted me up to 7 weeks to complete the project. In the end, from demolition to completion it took an incredible 4 weeks! This was due to outstanding planning on Tunch's part -- by day 1 of the construction start, has has ordered and received kitchen cabinets, tile, hardwood, paint, all light fixtures, and appliances. Tunch's approach to project execution is second to none. I also want to point out that Tunch has been a tremendous help in the selection of tile and other materials. We're very good at picking those materials ourselves, but Tunch made several very valuable suggestions that led to better selections. Tunch's crew is simply outstanding. In the first week of the project, something unexpected happened, and Tunch had to go abroad to take care of his family. His crew did not miss a beat and delivered high-quality product in very short time frame. The house is simply gorgeous. The materials and worksmanship are high end. We would hire Ultimate Remodel again in a heartbeat. In fact, they will be building a deck and screened porch and replacing a roof on this house soon.

We were so happy with Tunch and the team from Ultimate Remodel after a complete kitchen and master bathroom remodel two years ago, we just had them back to redo the two guest bathrooms. We could not be happier with every aspect of service. Tunch was very attentive to our design ideas and made great recommendations throughout. Pricing was very competitve. Work was all done in a very professional manner. At the end of each day his staff would completely clean the surrounding areas for our family to return to each night. Work was typically flawless, and on the one occasion we didn't like how something turned out Tunch immediately had the team redo the work until we were satisfied, always a great reflection on a contractor. They have earned all of our business, and the rooms look fantastic!

BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL JOB! I still keep pinching myself because I can't believe how smoothly everything went! Tunch's team was punctual, polite, professional and did an outstanding job. They also cleaned up after themselves every night before they left for the day. When the job was completed, my carpets were actually cleaner than when they started. I can't say enough about the Ultimate Remodel team. It was a pleasure to have them and I can't wait for them to start on my kitchen.

This is going to sound like a commercial, but - Thank you Angie's List for introducing me to Tunch and his Team at Ultimate Remodel!! This is a company that is truly filled with outstanding professionals that are committed to making sure their client receives the best finished product possible. The professionalism and dedication of Tunch and his team made this project the most painless remodel I have ever experienced. As with all renovation projects, a few minor issues did creep up. Tunch immediately tackled each these issues as they emerged (many time before I had noticed that there was a problem). Before I knew it, the project was complete. I now have two incredibly beautiful and perfectly constructed bathrooms. Thank you Tunch, I look forward to bringing your company back for my next renovation project!

We found Ultimate Remodel, LLC on Angie's List along with several other remodeling contractors and invited each to come to our home to discuss our plans and give us an estimate of the cost. The owner of Ultimate Remodel, Tunc Aydogdu, came to our home right on time and listened carefully to what we wanted to have done. From the beginning, he made several very good suggestions and invited us to come to his showroom to look at various displays and materials that would satisfy our requirements. Tunc spent nearly two hours on his initial visit and many more hours with us over the course of several weeks in guiding us through the selection of products and design. We were so impressed right away with Tunc's honesty, ethics, and ideas that we decided at that initial meeting to use him for our project. (Note: we did not have that sense with the other contractors we met with.) After we contracted with him, he took care of ordering all the material we had selected and scheduled his team to commence the work within the month. On the first day, the workmen arrived promptly at 8:00 am and began putting protective coverings over our furniture and carpets in all the adjacent rooms. The men worked diligently and were very conscientious about protecting the areas that were not part of the project. At the end of each workday, they cleaned up thoroughly. Tunc stopped by several times over the course of the remodeling and when he was not present, his project manager was on-site. His workers did a really nice job of converting these "dated" bathrooms into "showroom-quality" spaces. We are very pleased with the quality of the workmanship! But more than that, we really enjoyed working with Tunc. He is a very personable, professional, and low-key guy who knows his business and runs his company well. We knew we made the right choice when we would call or email him with questions (and there were many) and he would respond right away. I consider myself a very detailed person, particularly when a project is being done in my home. Tunc was very patient and addressed all my concerns. With any large remodeling projects, there are always some glitches that happen. We had a few. But the most important thing is that the owner of the company, Tunc, told us that he would make everything right and we would be happy with the final product. He kept his word and in the end, we are very pleased with our new bathrooms. We are now planning to use Ultimate Remodel to remodel our kitchen.

Tunch and his team did a great job. They finished everything as promised and Tunch was very good about providing us updates. Overall, everything went fairly smoothly with no major surprises that they could not address quickly. Even when they had a challenge matching the floors between our kitchen and old dining room, they quickly replaced all our floors to make sure everything looked great. We have two young children so you can imagine it was tough for them to go through the process. What we really like about Tunch is that he always seems to coordinate well with his team and subs so the process moves quickly and there are not too many delays, He also understands the challenges of remodeling with kids living in the house so he works hard to set up schedule to minimize the impact as much as possible. Tunch is also very patient and does great design work. He always worked hard to meet our specific requests and provided some really great ideas for improving the look/function of the new kitchen. I would definitely hire him again for future remodels.

Ultimate Remodel did a wonderful job. They completely gutted the bathroom, even added studs to the wall to correct the original build. The result is really beautiful, with high quality materials and great workmanship. They delivered as promised, on schedule (the custom glass shower door was actually installed ahead of schedule) and were delightful to work with. The company showroom is really impressive and their selection of marble and tile is fabulous. We are really happy with their work and will use them again.

It went very smoothly, and the work was done well - in an efficient, careful manner. Tunc advised me at each step of the way as the project unfolded, and if a question arose, he and/or his foreman were good about consulting with me. Tunc went over the project with his crew before they began, and stayed with them for the first couple of hours, to make sure the work got off to a good start. He also made sure to inspect our bathroom once the work was completed, to ensure that the job was done correctly.

The job went very, very well from the start. Tunch Aydo was prompt with our first appointment and helped us to explore the art of the possible with our ideas. He was creative and an honest provider who was clearly in the business to help customers and not just looking for work for cashflow. We appreciated his honesty and candor. We were invited to his showroom area and were able to explore good options for future jobs. The quote for the work came in very quickly and was reasonable; in fact, we were able to complete all work under our budget with Ultimate Remodel. If we chose other providers of which we had quotes, we would have had to pay almost 2 times the amount. In addition, the business owner was very patient with my family as I as we were exploring all of our options with other providers. Ultimate Remodel said to "take our time", and we ultimately decided they were the best option for completing the work for our home. After the contract was signed, the Ultimate Remodel team started work the next day which is a testament to their planning of resources. I periodically checked on the job after work, and they worked both efficiently and effectively. Ultimate Remodel also contacted us when they required our input along the way for colors and other specific questions which we appreciated. The job was completed approximately 3 days ahead of schedule, and the work was tremendous. We appreciate the quality of the work and would recommend Ultimate Remodel for future work to others.

Overall, the workmanship itself was good and delivered in a timely manner, even if the service was lacking at the end. The plumbing, tiling, and painting were all done well and the bathrooms are beautiful in general. The installation of tile around the French doors used grout that was much darker than the rest of the floor, which looks bad, and the final promised fix for a shower niche that allows things to slide out was never provided. Multiple communications to the company to address these matters (after all payments had been received) have been completely ignored; we are forced to attempt to resolve them on our own. In addition, we cleaned up numerous screws from the driveway twice, and suffered a punctured tire during the work. Granted, these are relatively minor matters compared to the majority of the work, which was well done, but, sadly, given the lack of professionalism in responding to these final matters, I would not use this company again.

We were very impressed with Ultimate Remodel, and would use them again for other renovations. We recently moved into a 50-year old home, and wanted to renovate two original bathrooms immediately. Tunch came out to the house to meet us before we even closed on the house, and he got an estimate back to us within a day or two. We found his pricing to be reasonable, but what really stood out for us was that his labor costs were lower than some of the other bids we received because most of the work is done by UR employees, as opposed to subcontractors. When we met with Tunch at his showroom, we were amazed at the huge selection of beautiful and unique tile, granite and marble, and Tunch provided lots of helpful suggestions as we selected materials. The work began shortly after we selected materials, and the whole process was complete in just over two weeks. Although they completely gutted the bathrooms (down to the studs), they were very careful to cover all of our furniture, seal closets and doors with tape, and cover the floors, so there was very little dust throughout the house, and they cleaned up every day before leaving. We are thrilled with our new bathrooms, and highly recommend Ultimate Remodel!

Tunch and his team at Ultimate Remodel were excellent to work with! They replaced the floor in our powder room, which had water damage, and did a complete remodel of our full bathroom. They were prompt to respond to our initial query and they have a very nice showroom where we picked out all the tiles and fixtures that we wanted. All of the material was delivered to the house before the job started, so there was no waiting around with the job half done. The whole thing took about 2 weeks and all the work was top quality. They listened to our needs and were quick to make adjustments when things weren't looking the way we wanted. The subcontractors they used (electrician, roofer, glass and counter installers) were very good as well. Note that this contrasts with a previous remodel we had with a different contractor which got bogged down with poor subcontractors and bad planning. The only thing I would change about the experience is that Ultimate Remodel wouldn't do the window replacement as part of the job. That was left to us. We knew this from the beginning, so it wasn't a surprise, but it added some stress and uncertainty to the process since we had to get it taken care of ourselves. We called window contractors, but they wouldn't do just one window, so I ordered it myself from Home Depot, with plans of putting it in myself. In the end Ultimate Remodel did the installation for me, at a reasonable cost, and the window looks fantastic, but it would have been easier if that was just included in the job from the beginning. During the job, they kept our house extremely clean, setting up floor covers each morning and cleaning up each day when they were done. They even worked Saturdays to keep the total time we were without that bathroom to a minimum. I was always amazed at how much they accomplished each day! We've been using the bathroom for a couple of weeks now and everything is perfect. The tile work is great, the new bathtub is an enormous improvement over what we had (we had thought there were no good, deep bathtubs that would fit in our small space, but Tunch sure found a great one!), and there is tons of light from the big new window, plus all the lighting is LED, so far more energy efficient than our old 4x40 watt light bar. If you want a top quality from from start to finish, and want your job done in the time they say it will take, I highly recommend using them.

Tunch's team was almost entirely employed by Ultimate Remodel, and they were very polite, professional and cleaned up every day (we lived in the house during the project). They would also hang up plastic sheeting to minimize dust in other areas of the house. Tunch is very professional and knowledgeable about the business, and worked well with Arlington county to speed up the permit process. Tunch was able to talk through EVERY detail in our plan, which was created be a separate architect, including other things that the architect did not know about. After the demolition it was clear that some things needed to be changed from the original plan and Tunch was very helpful working through these changes. In retrospect, we would have been very happy to have Tunch do the design as well, especially because of his knowledge of brands, materials, and county regulations, but on the other hand the design was helpful to us in getting consistent bids. They were very responsive to questions and issues throughout the project. When we had concerns during the project, they were usually issues that they planned to take care of later, we just weren't familiar with the sequence of steps in the job. When there were valid issues or changes they would address them immediately. Many changes from the original plan Tunch would just do without adding as a change order. The total project ran a week longer than the expected 2 months, mostly because the demolition was estimated assuming normal drywall and not old wiring mesh & plaster. There are still a couple of very minor things left over, mostly because materials are on order and taking much longer than expected. (Final inspection was yesterday) The hardwood floor has a fairly dark stain and looks fantastic. The mixing of old and new flooring is not evident at all. Drywall/plaster/painting work is impeccable and there were lots of irregularities that now look perfect. We had a lighting plan created by the architect, but there were a few changes made. Tunch's electrician walked through all the lighting and switches with us and was very flexible about changing locations of lights and switches including 3-ways. The current setup is really nice and convenient. Cabinetry installation in the kitchen and mini-bar off the dining room is excellent. The doors, side panels, knobs, and drawers are all perfectly aligned and 100% working. We couldn't be happier with the work and now have our dream kitchen and dining room! Basement bathroom looks great too.

Our house was built in 1986 and the master bathroom shower leaked; we decided it was time to update and totally remodel the bathroom. We got estimates from three other companies, which were well outside of our budget - even after we outlined what our budget was. We were able to formulate a plan with Ultimate Remodel to completely overhaul our bathroom in the price range we specified. Once we worked with the contractor to specify the fixtures which would be installed, the work started quickly and was completed quickly and professionally. We are now working with him to have one of our other bathrooms remodeled and updated.

Everything went smoothly Tunch was able to cater to all our needs with good design ethic. He was easy to reach and provided his best input. Tunch was able to advise us on where we could cut corners to save money and where money needed to be spend to get a long lasting and beautiful new kitchen and washrooms.

They were great. They were very professional and they were high tech. They used iPads to do a very good design for the house to show where the wall was going to be taken out and how the kitchen was going to look, which was very good. The person in charge was transparent and let us know about the schedule and everything. Overall it was great. The price was pretty competitive. We still like it.

Tunch and his team were wonderful to work with. They worked within our very restrictive timeline and were able to start demolishing our old bathroom immediately following our purchase of the home. Despite Tunch being overseas leading up to our project he was extremely responsive when I had questions, and they arrived promptly just as promised the day after we closed on the house. Without any frustration Tunch agreed to add in some other work in the midst of remodeling the bathroom (we sort of dropped the request for kitchen granite at the last minute and they had it installed in a matter of days) without missing the deadline. Our bathroom was gutted to the studs, insulation was added to exterior walls we discovered had none, and the bathroom was built beautifully in just one short week. The room is lovely, some finishes coming from Tunch's impressive showroom and some coming from items I purchased on my own (Tunch was very supportive of me buying the items I wanted?I know what I like and it was great that he supported that and worked with it without complaint). Let me add that without even requesting it, his crew raised the shower head to a much more comfortable spot on the wall for my 6'4" husband and installed a nice recessed light over the shower/tub that we didn't even realize was included (but is VERY nice to have, something we underestimated completely). As all jobs do, we had a few little "punch list" items to be tended to after we moved in and started using the bathroom and shower, but he and his crew tended to each item immediately and without complaint. If you want a reliable, communicative, quality contractor then I recommend you contact Ultimate Remodel. Tunch is fantastic and we get compliment after compliment on his work!

My husband and I have worked with Ultimate Remodel on two home removations and could not be happier with the professionalism and service we have received. Our latest remodel is a 1939 colonial (the first was a condo) which we took down to the studs and subfloor. Tunch's company did everything from electrical and plumbing work to reframing and installing finishing touches down to knobs, pulls, and faucets. Throughout our multiple renovations, we have worked with many contractors of all types from roofing and siding to landscaping and kitchen and bath. In two years' experience, I can say it's near impossible to find a contractor I can trust with the keys to my home, whose standards of work are as strict as mine, and who holds his workers to the schedule and cost originally quoted! Tunch is all of the above and he and his talented team have made renovating truly enjoyable, and that's no small feat! We have nearly rebuilt our home, so don't let the approximate cost scare you off if your project is smaller - the important thing, is that we had a budget and Tunch stuck with it on every project!

Their estimate was very high and we have decided to keep the project on hold for a little bit. They were very nice. They came out quickly and listened to my request. They were professional and their responsiveness was good but I do not remember if they were punctual or not. We would possibly consider using them and getting a quote from them again for any future projects.

We absolutely love our new bathroom!!! It is beautiful and Tunch's team was amazing. We cannot thank him enough for his work and expertise. We appreciate the time they took to problem solve the issue we were having with our freezing pipes and have created a bathroom we love.

We were referred to Tunc and Ultimate Remodel from our mortgage broker. Our broker had recently hired Ultimate Remodel to renovate his bathrooms and he was very impressed. We ended up including the cost of the renovations within our home loan and had a budget of $50,000. Tunc was able to work with us in designing a plan to meet our requirements while staying within budget. It is also important to know that when you have a bank involved with financing renovations you need a contractor who is familiar and capable of working within the banks? guidelines. We found Tunc very easy going and had no problem working with us and the bank. We completely recommend Ultimate Remodel.

The representative arrived exactly on time. He was very professional and spent time finding out what we had in mind. He offered good suggestions and I felt very comfortable with him. His estimate arrived promptly. It, however, was a little more then we had anticipated so we did not hire them.

Overall, the project went very well. We had a few issues but they were overcome and resolved rather quickly. If Tunch or his workers made a mistake they fixed it at their own cost. The workers generally showed up when we expected and left when they were supposed to leave. They cleaned up after each day and were very courteous and professional. Tunch was helpful in picking out granite, colors, and styles. We love the kitchen as it turned out better than we had hoped. Tunch tries hard to resolve any issues in a timely manner and wants to please. Tunch was very helpful with the design and options. He is easy to work with and very responsive to all questions and emails. The most important thing, Tunch is an honest man and his company is an honest company. They are going to be in business in this area for a long time. There are not perfect contractors out there, but you can't go wrong with Ultimate Remodel. I would use them again for another job.
