Description of Work: THEY NEVER RETURNED MY PHONE CALL TO SEE IF THEY HAD THE CLEAR GLASS REAR WINDOW FOR STOCK.

Description of Work: A stone hit the front windshield of my 2005 Toyota matrix leaving a small web shaped crack in the windshield. This eventually developed into a long crack the width of the windshield. Called Safelite on Wednesday for service on Friday. This was all professional and fast. The price was higher then some other places but the brand I trusted as you see their cars/vans every where. Replacement went fine. Was fast and staff was very professional. HOWEVER, upon getting into my car I noticed that the windshield was very wavy like going to the fun house and the outside world was distorted in various parts of the glass. I thought it was just the newness of the glass but upon driving home I became Nauseous. Upon further inspection the bottom 6 inches of glass toward the dash board was distorting the road signs and the road stripping. The left and right sides of the windshield were warping the outside visual...much like yoiu would see in a fun house (though not as extreme). After going home and looking this up I fouind lots of people with the same complaint. To make sure I wasn't going crazy I looked inside my other car's glass which is a honda Accord and there is a fractional bit of distortion in the glass. HOWEVER it's about 1" or less of distortion compared with big sections of distortions. I called up Safelight and told them my troubles with the glass and how i was getting nausea while driving. I was then sent to the next level of trouble shooters. They said sure no problem and set up another appointment. This was today, Monday. Again nothing but professional people at Safelight. The technitian, today, was telling me that all glass has a curvy aspect to them. And this is true...but not it's not wavy to the degree of their windshield. I asked if I could get the same quality of glass that Toyota uses even if I had to pay more it was worth it to me. He said taht i would see the wavyness in the dealer glass as well. So I then said, "Let me drive to the Toyota dealer and look at their new Matrix cars and see how wavy the glass is and then call you back. So then he shows me the glass they want to install and for asks me to visually inspect it. I noticed it was much less wavy at the bottom. So I said sure that one looks ok... However, upon installation the bottom of the glass is fine now but the sides are distorted. The installation is not the problem it's the glass itself. So I make another appointment and they say that perhaps the batch of glass for my brand/type of car was bad and agreed to put in another manufacturer of glass and WOW!!! This was like the original glass...no wavyness like the other 2 and I was very happy!!! I'll say that they went beyond the care I was expecting and took my concerns seriously until they were resolved. Amazing customer service on par with Apple.
