This company has been wonderful. Steve, who is the person I deal with for appointments and anything else, has been great about accomodating me with changes in my schedule. We are moving and we needed some last minute cleanings for house photography and walk throughs. Really, he was great and managed to work us in everytime. I remember one particular day when I called him three times within an hour in order to make changes to our schedule and he was very courteous and helpful. Best of all, he didn't make me feel like an annoying nut. Pricing is very fair and upfront. Absolutely no surprises. The ladies that come to the house are great. As soon as they get here they start immediately to work and they do it well. If I ask for special attention to something a particular day, it is done. These ladies do a very nice job and are very pleasant too. Once I'm settled in our new home, I will call Steve again.

Fantastic job with our move-in cleaning. We had just rented a 3-level, 2200 square foot townhouse and wanted to get a thorough cleaning before moving in. Evelyn's crew showed up on time (maybe even a bit early) and got right to work. In addition to doing the usual, such as vacuuming, mopping, etc., they cleaned baseboards, a full kitchen cleaning (stove and refrigerator, inside and out), and a THOROUGH cleaning of each bathroom, top to bottom. They wiped down and sanitized all kitchen and bathroom shelves and cabinets. In addition, the final charge was less than the estimate. This is likely because the house was completely empty at the time, as it was before our furniture was delivered, so there was nothing to impede their cleaning. Evelyn was great at working with us on a day and time, as it had to be done on a Saturday afternoon due to our tight schedule that weekend. Highly recommended!

We have used Progressive Cleaners for monthly maid service/house cleaning for about a year now. We got off to a bit of a rocky start, as the owner apparently made an error in the original quote for the first cleaning (we thought the first quote was too good to be true for a house of our size). After the initial cleaning though, $140 monthly for a 3 BR, 3.5 bathroom townhouse is very reasonable. They clean the house top to bottom - all floors, kitchen, bathroom, mirrors, dusting, all the usual stuff. They even clean inside the microwave and change linens and make the beds. The cleaning is always top notch. The only small complaint is that they did once chip a piece of furniture, probably with the vacuum, and once dropped and broke a dish. Still, the cleaning service has been great for the money and it is always wonderful to come home from a hard day of work to a freshly cleaned house!

We found this cleaning service on Angie's List and used their cleaning coupon/discount (for 3 or 4 cleanings). The first deep cleaning service was great but the subsequent cleanings weren't as good. They ladies were punctual and professional and quick but were not the best cleaning company I've ever used. If it hadn't been in such a bind and needed the extra help (and also because it was a bday gift from my hubby), I wouldn't have continued to use this company. For example, during the 3rd cleaning service my 5 year old and I were reading in our office which has french doors opening up into our family room. The first two cleanings I THOUGHT they ladies had vacuumed my couch which truly impressed me, however, after observing the cleaner through the glass french doors I found that 1. she did NOT dust the pictures nor hanging shelves on my walls, and 2.) she did NOT vacuum my couch but spent 5 minutes running her hands over the fabric to leave a lined pattern to LOOK like vacuum marks. Very frustrating. What did I just pay for? Someone to vacuum my floor and nothing more? I could've done that myself while sitting my kid in front of the tv to veg rather than trying to spend time reading with her. Also, I had to make several calls or email attempts to schedule cleanings with the manager who was not always quick to respond, and at least once the ladies showed up an hour early or an email schedule confirmation was sent to me with the wrong time slot. Just several little things that added up to annoy me.

We contacted Evelyn early in the week to set up a time on Friday to tackle a long neglected kitchen and living/dinning area plus the basement. She was very responsive to my initial contact and kept up great communication throughout the transaction. Two cleaners arrived on Friday within the timeframe I was told to expect them, and they went right to work. They worked very efficiently and did a terrific job. The kitchen floor is a 15 year old vinyl that will never look new again, but through the years and a bit of neglect it was a disaster. I was shocked at how good they were able to get it looking. Everything just gleamed, including the stove and drip pans which absolutely shined. My mother and I were very impressed with the attention to detail (the toaster oven looked new!), and my mother particularly liked the two women who did the cleaning. She felt very comfortable with them. Though I kept myself scarce doing other things in the house, when I did interact with them they were very pleasant. We are discussing the possibility of having them come in on a regular basis in the future.

My interaction with them went fine. I liked that they were able to schedule me on short notice and quickly. The person whom I spoke with was very professional and they seemed to be a very professional operation.

Very thorough cleaning of a 2 bed and 2 bath apartment

Two women arrived exactly at the time requested. They went through my 1000 square foot condominium quickly and thoroughly.

They did a fabulous job. I was especially impressed with: * The stovetop, which looks new again. * The ceiling fan I can't reach, so it had at least a year of dust -- now the blades are polished! * My shower's glass doors, which are actually see-through! They are miracle workers, and I'll gladly use the service regularly. They came an hour before their arrival window, which worked out fine in this instance.

As with the move-in clean that Progressive did for me to move into my new home the previous week, the quality of the cleaning was superb. They left the one-and-a-half, one-bedroom apartment looking like no one had lived in it. It looked considerably better than when I moved in 2 years prior. There were only a couple issues, but the cleaning ladies were not at fault. This is something that rests with the owner. For such a small apartment, 3 house cleaners were sent over; whereas for my move in into a 4 bedroom, 2-1/2 bath much larger home - only 2 house cleaners were sent. There was also an issue with the scheduling. We had agreed to a 10:00 AM start time that I subsequently asked to be pushed back to later in the afternoon or the next morning because I didn't have all my things out. The movers who did my move took all my furniture and most of the boxes; but there were still some clothes in 2 of the closets, some things in the linen closet, some odds and ends on a few shelves, items in the refrigerator, and a number of boxes sitting in the middle of the living room. I had also camped out there the night before to get an early start with a first load of remaining stuff to the new house; but that also meant that my camping gear was strewn around the bedroom. Evelyn couldn't push the date back by a whole day because I asked for the reschedule that very morning (which I totally understand); but we agreed to a 1:00 PM start time on 2/25 (the date originally scheduled, just later the same day). Apparently, she neglected to tell the house-cleaners. They called me at about 9:45/9:50 AM to say they were at my apartment. I was driving to my apartment to pick up another load of stuff and was fortunately able to get there in under 10 minutes from their call. They said Evelyn didn't tell them anything about the rescheduled time. This was unfortunate because it meant that they would be trying to clean while I was still trying to move stuff out. Fortunately for me, the house cleaners were very forgiving of the fact that some of my stuff was still there; and they cleaned the areas that were empty first to give me an opportunity to empty additional areas that they cleaned last. My mom arrived in the middle of the chaos and emptied the refrigerator so one of the house cleaners could get to it. Another issue was the price. I was quoted $128 over the phone; but was charged $192. The difference between the estimate and the reality is simply too much. This is an awful practice that I would like to see stopped. It's not reasonable to low-ball a quote and then leave the workers hanging out to dry, trying to explain the difference in price. Yes, the cleaning took longer than expected; but it shouldn't have taken so much longer, considering that there were 3 house cleaners for a small 1 bedroom 1-1/2 bath apartment. Their quality was outstanding, so I don't quibble on that issue. The issue is that the owner should be able to provide estimates that are closer to reality, not leave the employees to explain a nasty surprise at the end of the work day. I gave each of the workers a $10 tip, bringing my total to $222. I did not receive a receipt for the price paid (minus the tip). Would I use Progressive again? Yes, because the quality of the work is really, really great. What I would like to see is an improvement in the estimates. Estimates should be closer to reality, and a receipt should be provided.

Overall, it went pretty well. Blanca and Constancia arrived a few minutes early and got straight to work. They never stopped for working, even when I brought them coffee and cake from Starbuck's. They ate/drank standing up while continuing their work. I was really impressed with their energy and stamina. They make a very good team. One of them tackled the kitchen while the other tackled the 2 full baths. They seemed to have a good system down for who would do which work, and the order in which they would do the work. They asked me to inspect the house, which I declined because I'd seen their work while they were doing it - and I knew the overall result would be fine. But if I hadn't declined, I might have noticed that the basement wasn't vacuumed. So I think it's really my fault that I didn't check on it and remind them that it still needed to be done. So for the work that was done, I rate them an A+. I rate Progressive a B on the price because of the difference between the estimate and what was actually charged; and because they don't provide receipts. I originally asked for a price quote via e-mail. After e-mailing twice and not hearing back from anyone, I called on the phone and spoke w/Evelyn Reyes (the owner). Between a child crying in the background and the overall low volume of Evelyn's voice, I had a very difficult time understanding what she was telling me. In the end, we agreed to a price of $192. But the cost given to me at the end of the day was in the mid/upper $200's. I asked them about the first time discount that was supposed to be applied and this brought the price down to $218. I gave each of the 2 ladies a $20 tip, so my total was $258. While I don't disagree with the price for the quality of work done, I wish the estimate had been closer to the reality. I find it an awful practice to quote too-low a price, and then expect someone to pay for a much higher price when the work is done. Business owners should keep their post-work price increases to no more than 10% of the estimate. The surprise I received at the end of the day was a bit of a nasty shock; and the cleaning ladies themselves should not be the ones left to deal with that. At the end of a hard work day, the only thing they should be doing is collecting a tip and taking a well-earned break. Despite the issue with the price, I would certainly hire Blanca and Constancia from Progressive again to clean my house in the future. They were fantastic! For sure I would ask to have the price better synchronized with reality.

I called Progressive Cleaning Corp for an estimate and to schedule an appointment around 12:30PM on a Tuesday afternoon. After not getting a call back, I followed up via email around 1:40 PM. Finally I got an email response and spent the entire rest of the day trying to get them to call me / working out a quote. It was horribly inefficient, as it took the person on the other end a good hour in between emails that were very short and unhelpful. I was also told it would take 4 hours to have a 3-person crew clean a 1400 sq ft house with no additional special services except interior window washing which is completely absurd. Never got a final price or appointment scheduled because they stopped responding to my emails. Definitely won't be giving them a second chance. Hire an intern to answer your phone or something.

They did an excellent job and the price was very reasonable. They were friendly, fast, and thorough and I would absolutely use them again.

I have used them since 2009 and found them on Angie’s List. I like them very much. They are very good. When they clean, everything looks nice and fresh. They do all the cleaning in an hour. Most times there are three of them that do the cleaning. They are fast and work together. They have never been late, not shown up, or anything like that. I have been pleased with them.

adeMy husband purchased several cleaning services through Living Social back in May for my birthday. It took a while of phone tag to finally get appointments for the company to come clean my house in September, November and December. The company did an okay job in September and then 2 days before my November appointment, they canceled on me blaming Living Social for insufficient funds. I was in a bind because I had company coming and was left without a cleaning service. Thankfully I found high ratings for Progressive Cleaning Corp on Angies List. I read the comments and this company seemed much better! I called, and Evelyn set up an appointment for me for the exact day the other company had previously been scheduled and had canceled. Just two days notice and Evelyn got a cleaning team to my house! There was a slight mix up on the appointment time. On the phone Evelyn said the arrival time would be from 8-10, but the confirmation email the night before said 9-11. The team should up at 10am so even though there was a mix up on the time, the team was still punctual. The cleaning team did a great job! They cleaned really well, even little places (like inside my microwave, putting clean sheets on the bed, vacuumed my couch, etc.) that make a world of difference. The other cleaning company didn't clean nearly as well nor as quickly nor did they pay attention to the little details either. The Progressive Cleaning team cleaned well and quickly. The price quoted on the phone was what I was charged and we gave a generous tip! I've already scheduled my cleaning services for December and January thanks to the online coupon!

I called 2 days in advance and they were able to meet my request. I was so grateful that they could come on such short notice. The 2 ladies that came cleaned everything beautifully, and were done in 3 .75 hours. That included cleaning all my indoor shutters and window sills. 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, 3 living areas. I was so pleased , they also were very nice. The Angie's list discount was very nice also!!!

I think it's a great price for the quality of work that they do. They provide a team of 3 people to do the cleaning. I recommend leaving a written list of what you want to have done to share with the team lead. They do take credit cards for payment.

Progressive cleaning ladies have been coming here once every two weeks for three months or so.

It was amazing! They got lost on their way so they actually showed up 30min delay. But those three ladies worked non stop for 1.5 hrs. The house is super clean without spider webs! It was totally worth it! (The price reflects the coupon) I'm considering of hiring them for the regular cleaning.
