As promised when I made the appointment, the crew called before arriving at the house. They asked if it would be convenient for them to come earlier than scheduled, I said yes, and they arrived exactly when they said they would. They took care with all the furniture and belongings that had to be moved and the wear & tear and pet stains on the carpets are now gone.

Arrived on time, worked efficiently, did a great job and were very professional.

We are extremely happy with the job performed by the Diamond team. This furniture is over 15 years old. It was *extremely* dirty from being left uncovered during major construction at our house over the course of many months. It was full of dust from sanding of dry wall and jackhammering of cement for the creation of french drains (twice!). Eduardo & his partner worked for 2 1/2 hours on these 3 pieces. They came out looking absolutely beautiful. As a result we've decided to keep the furniture for the long-term instead of just cleaning it up to keep until we were ready to refurnish the room. The investment in the cleaning was worth every penny, my skeptical finacee was particularly impressed! We'd just had new floors & walls put in and the entire place painted. So we're very nervous about folks coming into the house with heavy equipment, etc. that could damage the finishes before they're even a week old! I alerted Gail to this on the phone when I called. She clearly noted it in the work order & when Eduardo arrived he discussed with us & then showed us what he was doing to protect the floors while the work was being done. I really appreciated Eduardo's professionalism and his earnest efforts to address our concerns. I would definitly call Diamond when it's time for our carpets to be cleaned.

They picked up the rugs for cleaning during the pick-up window specified (after work, which was GREAT) and said they'd be delivered to our new address in a week. The delivery date came and went and when I called to find out why they said the delivery had been cancelled by me or someone calling on my behalf and would be rescheduled (still have no idea how this happened). Once that was fixed the rugs were delivered within the delivery time window, again after work hours for me which was wonderful. The price was less than I'd expected (I think I had misunderstood her, but to my advantage!) and the rugs have never looked better.

Roberto and Jose showed up on time, moved the necessary furniture, got to work, starting at the farthest spot and working their way out to the front . Polite and capable.

Diamond Carpet Service provided punctual, efficient individuals that provided excellent carpet cleaning. I moved small furniture and breakable items to a non-carpeted area and they moved heavier items. The entire process went extremely smooth and fast.

The carpet technicians were curteous and professional. They got the job done in one hour. They good instructions to me on how to check when the carpet is dry and when to move items back into the rooms.

Roberto and Jose did a fine job. They were working diligently for over 2 hours. They were friendly but professional in their demeanor. They spent most of the time on the white sofa, of course. Both pieces looked great after they finished. Also, I didn't realize there would be a 10% discount for Angie's list so I paid a bit less than expected.

Jose and Roberto were wonderful. They were extremely professional and did a terrific job. The carpets look amazing and they did more than just their jobs, they made sure we were happy.

They picked up cleaned and re-delivered rugs as arranged. All work was done professionally and expeditiously. I am very pleased and will use this company in the future.

I called to make an appointment and dealt with a competent person on the phone who told me about how much it would cost (without seeing the rooms). He was able to make me an appointment for the Saturday of that week. The two carpet cleaners arrived on time -- they called when they were a few minutes away -- and immediately got to work. Altogether it took about 3 hours but the last hour was for the couch, which needed a lot of work. They left furniture on styrofoam or coated paper protectors and told us it would take until the end of the day to dry, which was accurate. He honored the Angie's list discount and also ended up charging us less than we expected -- perhaps because the basement is pretty small or the area carpets were not as large. At any rate, we were very pleased with them and would use them again anytime!

I was very happy with this service. They cleaned a pure white sectional with smoke stains from cigarettes. I didn't think that they would be able to clean it, but they were actually able to. I thought that I would have to sell it. After the job, I am actually able to keep it. Angel Calderon, the field supervisor, was very helpful and professional. He and Rudy came out to help me with this. They cleaned the window that was above the sofa because they feared that dirt accumulated on the window and fell to the sofa. I am surprised that I am able to keep an expensive sofa that I thought I would have to sell or throw it away. I would recommend them to others. My eyes popped open when I saw all of the work they had done on the sofa- Wow! It looks great! I had a 10% discount because I was an Angie's List member.

These folks are excellent. I have used them many times and their work is always consistent and top rate. I have no reservations about recommending Diamond Carpet.

Diamond Carpet Services located in Alexandria, Virginia is the most INCOMPETENT carpet cleaning service I have ever encountered. I choose Diamond Carpet Service after conducting, what I thought was, a thorough search of carpet cleaning services listed on Angie's List. I looked at length for cleaning services with consistently high grades and the more 'A' grades the better. Diamond Carpet Service led the list. I then placed a call to their office to make an appointment. After two weeks without a reply I called again since Angie's List convinced me that of all the companies in my area Diamond Carpet Service had the best reputation. We finally set an appointment time and a crew of two arrived. They immediately set out to clean the blood from my carpet BUT used hot water and a soap solution unaware that blood is protein-based and soap of any kind will not dissolve the blood. Furthermore the combination of hot water (steam) and soap caused the blood spots to spread making the problem much worse. Enzyme-eating and Oxy products exist on the market at Home Depot and other home improvement stores specifically designed to remove protein-based stains such as blood and milk. I am now faced with a problem far more complex than earlier and have begun the process of trying to eliminate the blood stains using a borrowed high-powered Hoover vacuum cleaner plus a Hoover cleaner specifically designed to eliminate protein-based stains. Additionally the two-man team brought into my home a very large vacuum unit which they placed in my entrance way. The unit leaked profusely onto the carpet and the odor from the stain is overwhelming. No doubt whatever blood they were able to extract from my carpets upstairs has contributed to this terrible odor. Their effort to remove the few red wine stains in the basement is more of the same (INCOMPETENCE). Conversations with office personnel resulted in a written apology, my check for $145 returned and a check for $75 included for any inconvenience. This is bordering on the absurd. It now appears that I will have to replace the carpet in my master bedroom, entryway and possibly the basement. Attempts by me to have the general manager, Tom Cox, visit my home for a personal inspection have been to no avail. I am less likely to use Angie's List in the future because of all of this and may decide to select home contractors purely by word of mouth and personal recommendations of reliable friends. Angry, I am!

Called two companies. Diamond was more responsive and substantially less expensive. Made an appointment. Was called a half hour before technicians arrived. Technician introduced himself and his helper at the door. We showed him the sofa and the carpet to be cleaned. We had already moved the small things out of the room for which the technician thanked us. We asked about the cleaning solution and the use of any chemicals. Technician confirmed that the chemicals were safe to use on the fabric. The two worked very h****** the sofa, its first cleaning since buying it several years earlier. After the carpet was cleaned they put the furniture in the room up on small styrofoam blocks or card-stock squares. We were told that everything would be dry the next day, which it was.

They did good work and didn't charge very much. I recommend them and would use them again.

They scheduled a pick-up and a delivery date in advance. Came the same week I called and it took 10 days for the cleaning. Team arrived promptly as scheduled both times, and was very professional. The rug was very dirty and covered with pet hairs. Now it looks great.

I had fleas! My vet recommended Diamond and after checking the company on Angie's List I contacted them. I had five area rugs--two of significant size. My carpets were picked up on schedule and redelivered on scheduled. I was very happy with my newly cleaned rugs. I was given a price per square foot quote so I knew up front approximately how much having my rugs cleaned was going to cost. Angel Calderon, the Field Supervisor and his assistant could not have been nicer. When my rugs were redelivered, they unrolled them for me and placed them where I indicated.

I called on a Monday and was able to get an appointment on Friday(my request). They called 10 minutes before arriving on time. Once in the house, Roberto did a walk through with me so I could show him around and point out specific problem areas. They got right to work, and about 3 hours later were done(about 7pm on a Friday night!). They were careful with my belongings, and put my furniture up on styrofoam blocks so as not to stain the wet carpet. The carpets are now gleaming-they did an amazing job. The area in the basement where the leak occurred did not get completely clean, but it wasn't from a lack of effort on their part. I was presented with a professional invoice after inspecting their work, and Roberto told me more about their company's services(drapery, rug, and upholstery cleaning). This was my second time using them, and I am more convinced than ever that this is a good company to work with. Highly recommend them.

Diamond was punctual coming out for the estimate as well as when they did the job. Their office kept in touch with us. The workers were courteous and thorough. They did an excellent job and were able to remove some tough stains. We highly recommend them.
