A-1 Garage Door

After returning home from church we closed the garage and heard a pop and bang. It was the cable on one side popping in half. No matter what we tried we couldn't get the garage to lift up. After calling several "emergency" repair companies that were found on here..this company gave us all the right answers. They lady answering the phone was nice...the tech was nice and they were both knowledgeable. I received a courtesy call before the tech arrived. He went right to work. Told us exactly what needed to be done and a few other things that he recommends. Gave us a quote for a new door and made the entire experience awesome.

I email A-1 around 11:45 PM on 04/03/16 and stated that one of my garage door 's springs had broken. I also indicated that I wanted it fixed ASAP. I received a call around 8 AM on 04/04/16. I was happy that A-1 responded quickly. I was given a fair price on the phone and was told that they could have someone there between 12 - 2 PM. The technician called before he came. He arrived around 11:45. In less than an hour, my door's springs were replaced. The door is working fine. I would strongly recommend A-1 for your garage door needs.

I searched Angie's List and found a deal of $80 for a service call at 7:55 AM on 4 Jan 16, I then called the number and explained that my door spring broke the night before. They were able to fit me in by 2 PM and replaced the spring in less then an hour. Discounting the spring as well. Very professional and life savers.

Arrived on time and promptly complete work with no issues.

Listen.... refer to my review 03 March 2014 (Mister Law). This is THE BEST company bar none. My neighbor needed emergency service and A-1 responded within minutes (not hours). Repaired the garage and my neighbor was on her way out of town on schedule. I am as tough as they come on service and A-1 is THE BEST. I do not owe them anything nor they to me. I'm simply enlightening anyone who demands high quality respond, professionalism and great service to call A-1. If there's a company (ANY TYPE OF COMPANY) that functions as well as this one.... the nation would be much better. Call them with High Expectations and be confident that they are the best. Work went very well. The tech arrived on time, he quickly replaced the spring and performed maintenance on the door. He lubed the rails and adjusted the rollers. He was very professional and courteous.

The tech showed up on scheduled and performed the work extremely professionally. He suggested replacing the pulleys and rollers which needed replacement due to wear and tear. Price quoted was fair and work was performed and the extremely pleased with the results.

George came out to diagnose the problem on our garage door. Within seconds, he knew it was a bad spring assembly. I asked if he could replace it the same day. He called around to see if another technician had the part available. He left to see if he could pick one up. Later, the office called me and said that George would come back early the next day to do the work. The next morning, he showed up as promised. He performed the work without any hitches, and I was very satisfied with the results. I told him that I would definitely call his company again if we needed anything else done with our garage door. I also said that I would refer him to our friends and family. Great professionalism. Thanks George!

Provider arrived on schedule and called when they were 15 minutes out. They got to work right away and made quick work of the old door. They installed the new door, adjusted the automatic door opener, set the spring tension, and installed the trim. The sensor wires were improperly hung by the previous owner and they just looked bad hanging every which way. Charles, the installer, took it upon himself to correct the issue and they are now in a nice neat straight line. I really appreciated that! Prior to leaving they cleaned up the mess and even swept the garage. I was very impressed with their professionalism the quality of the door itsself. All and all quality product, a quality install, and a GREAT price!

Service man did a great job of repairing my issue. My car was stuck in the garage. I couldn't even manually lift the door. I was trapped and relieved when he arrived. I used Angie's service AFTER the posted name printed on the garage door's servicer didn't call me back for a day.

Went to get part and came back and opened my garage door without permission. Didn't bother to ring the door bell. "Said" they didn't have my phone number.

From the beginning everyone was professional and friendly. Abbey works in the office. She scheduled my appointment for the estimate. Charlie was the technician. He arrived on time - on a Saturday morning which is a huge convenience for me that I really appreciated. He took measurements and told me about the options. Soon after, I received the proposal from Abbey. I had a couple questions. She answers your email even in the evenings or on weekends. Great service. I decided to proceed with A-1. They promptly scheduled my installation and Charlie was back again on time. He was able to re-use the existing track and garage door motor - i just needed a new door - which saved me some money. The installation took a little more than 2 hours. The door works perfectly and Charlie hauled away the broken door. Mine was a small job and they made me feel like an important customer. Good job A-1!

They were prompt, professional, and performed the job quickly. They even greased up everything to make sure the door was running smooth. Great job!

The only difficulty I had was that the technician was late, and I had to call the office. The person I spoke with said she had sent an email advising me that he was running late, but would be at our house soon. I had checked my email before calling, and the message was not there, but maybe it came as I called.

Extremely courteous, professional and efficient. Scheduled a next day appointment, received a phone call when team was enroute, very professional crew replaced spring in 30 minutes during a rain storm. Ensured I was happy with their work and promptly departed. I will recommend and use A1 Garage Door in the future!

They guys were at my house promptly. Replaced rails and hardware( previously not discussed ) for the quoted price. Excellent work.

I bought the Big Deal and we arranged to have the spring replaced the next day. The apt. was set but the tech was running late. The office called to tell me of the delay. They then called again much later to tell that someone would be here shortly but the truck would not say A 1. About a half hr later some one came. He did the work quickly and the garage door is in operation!

The spring broke in the morning. We learned about it at noon. We called A-1 around 3 p.m. and the technician was to arrive between 5-7 p.m. He arrived at 5 and was done in about 90 minutes. He replaced the spring and checked all the other working parts. He was very professional and thorough. I would highly recommend this company to any one with garage door problems.
