This is my review and my experience maybe yours could be different but my experience with Utah Flood and Fire was down right horrible and sour! The top dogs come in real quick to give assurances and make promises. Then after you sign on the dotted line it all changes. You can’t get in contact with the people that you should be talking too because they are golfing or flat don’t want to deal with your issues. Them being approved or preferred by anyone does not mean a thing. Whatever you do get a few bids first. Do not sign any checks over. Have it all go through your insurance. Because if you sign it right over that’s extra money they get up front that will not be put into your claim. Good luck getting a fixed budget or materials list or any paper even when asking repeatedly. The only papers I saw were to sign off damaged and missing things from my claim and one to sign off that they were done. First the demo crew broke fixtures and scratched my bathtub by throwing a sink in it, they seem to have a problem with locking a door when they leave for the day. Their project managers are some of the most pushy, inept and rude I have ever dealt with. They make executive decisions on your budget with your claim like it’s their money. They offer changes and if you approve them, later they try to come back at you for it when they aren’t hitting their margins. How would you know they won’t show you the numbers. Get every single thing they say and do in writing.. they will use that if it doesn’t not go their way.. They really don’t do much of the work but the work they do they cut corners on everything. If they say they will match paint check it or you might have to deal with the headache and stress I did. One crew member painted a whole room when he was only supposed to pain a closet and part of a wall. Well that was because the paint didn’t match. Instead of stopping to go match it he painted the rest of the room. I caught it in spots missed and when I went to match another room. The sub-contractors they hire just as bad. On a shower valve they installed they never checked it so it was tiled and the wall behind it sealed up. Well I turned on the bathtub and the shower came on at the same time. Then I had problems with their contractor admitting a mistake and I had an HOA plumber come out and say yep he installed it upside down.... Seriously... So they had to cut a big hole behind it in my kitchen to fix it. Luckily there is a dishwasher there to access it but now I have a panel in back there first because it was going to be a huge issue to get it fixed and I had lost all faith and confidence that I had in them and that it would be done correctly. At least I can access it if he messed it up a few months from now.. oh there’s more. The bathroom vanity counter top has a 5/8” gap because they didn’t check to see if it fit. They installed along the molding they put in?? So again I had to ask for it to be fixed. Don’t! Just go get a new one. They didn’t put a backer bar up under that counter. No they used Foam. So I’ll be replacing that shortly when it cracks.. I went to turn on a brand new disposal and what do you know it fried. How convenient. Oh that’s not in the claim. They said they have licensed electricians. personally don’t buy it. They don’t have tile-setters, carpet layers, cabinet installers or plumbers but they have an electrician?? Ok sure. Yea and don’t expect your stuff to come back home in one piece either.. damage there too. I’ve been in construction a long time and I have never had such bad customer service especially from ownership and management. They are rude. They take advantage of a bad situation with pressure up front. Honesty is gone. Absolutely ZERO integrity. They will accuse you of micromanaging because you go check their work and ask that they do it right. Then when you call them on it will they bully their way out without making things correct. This is just my review, my experience how I see it and my opinion. Save yourself the trouble and use a different contractor.

The people who did the demolishing were sub-contracted from Sears. Had we known this, we would not have hired them. They did not listen at all and neither did the "people in charge" of the project. They did not tear down the places where I told them it leaked because their reader didn't register it as an area where it leaked. There was 1 person that came and did all of the repair work and he was great! He really knew his stuff and was excellent to work with. He found the leak I pointed out that the demo crew ignored. As far as the overall corporate experience I had, I would not use them again if I could avoid it. I would not recommend them.
