Consumer Warning beware of quality pools and spas. I recently had a heater replaced on my spa. The replacement heater was installed and a leak was introduced from the heater. The repair man did not even stay to test it and left immediately. After we filled up the spa and noticed the leak. We notified the service man who also happens to be the owner immediately. Literally the same day. Instead of coming back to fix it the owner of action spas proceeded to tell me that the leak was caused by freezing and that the freezing was my fault. After going back-and-forth and him finally admitting that the heater was installed faulty he is now refusing to install the replacement heater and wants to charge me to remove the faulty heater that he installed and replace it with a new heater that hopefully is not faulty.

Great! My husband stayed the pool was the cleanest he has ever seen it and kind you we had to have the pool builder (not Quality) comeback the 2nd year for repairs and they had just cleaned it two months before the final cleaning and closing. Both men were very polite,and knowledgeable. We wouldn’t think of going anywhere else for Our pool services. 100% satisfied customer.

Quality is fantastic, very willing to help and provide info, and all the work they have done has been great!

I feel pretty mediocre about Quality Pool and Spa. Their office manager is great, good communication, friendly. Their technicians left a lot to be desired. They didn't properly measure my spa for the cover, so luckily I caught the problem before I ordered it. He came back to measure again and said he couldn't do it and that I would have to. I measured it myself and made a plastic template as they instructed me (which was actually kind of a hassle because of the unique shape to the spa and the fact that it was full.) I also gave them the very accurate drawing and measurements I took with a tapemeasure. They ended up making the cover slightly too large but it still functions just fine. Very quick turnaround once I submitted the correct measurements. The technician did not bring a filter for the spa, so I had to research how to install that myself, and I don't think he really looked at the motor and other parts sufficiently. I ended up hiring another company to come drain it out, and fix everything from scratch. Now its running great!

Very great merchant, Scheduled fast even with everyone getting ready for winter. The technician was very informed and gave me great preventative tips and ideas. Was very fast to bring the part they needed to order to me after the day they got it back. Very professional and very good at what they do. Seem like they would be able to handle all type of pools and hot tubs.

They did a good job opening the pool and repairing the pipe but left a mess. Winterizing bottles were still floating in the pool after they cleaned it and it was not a great cleaning of the pool.

Very good experience

My office wants to do some reconstruction on our building, and we happen to have a pool in our building. I was instructed by my boss to get some prices on draining the pool. The woman who answered the phone was extremely condescending telling me that draining the pool could cause $8000 in vinyl damage. And while I appreciate that warning, I told her the reason why we were draining it. She said that she would contact her boss, and that her boss would contact me... It's been almost a week, and have not received any calls. I'm going to go with another company. They seem to do good work when they show up somewhere (as I read in other comments) but they haven't given at their business

Everything went as I expected. I should have called in late summer before they became busy winterizing swimming pools.

Our hot tub went out last year. We thought it might be time for a new one ($5000). They came early, found the problem. Replaced a part, and were out of here in about 45 minutes. What else can you ask?

I will always hire Derek and Quality to deal with my spa issues.

Our hot tub was broken. Derek showed up and analysed the situation, finding that a relay in the circuit board was burned out. He gave us options for repairing or replacing the board that were either expensive or would take several weeks. Instead, he was able to find a servicable relay and repaired the board himself, saving us a lot of time and expense. The whole job was done in just a few days for a relatively small price. I highly recommend this company, and especially Derek for his knowledge, skill and professionalism.

We have a hot tub which kept tripping the ground fault breaker. A competitor came and looked at the tub, and insisted it was the electrical line to the tub, and not the tub itself. This couldn't be the case because when the tub was unplugged, the GFCI was fine, and did not pop. The previous homeowner had left a receipt for the purchase of the tub from Quality Pool and Spa, and I called them. They came out the next day, immediately figured out that the heating element was corroded. Jay took it to the shop to attempt to repair the internal corrosion. He called a couple of days later to let me know that only the internal parts on the element needed to be repaired, about half the price of a new element. He came back the following day, and installed the element in the hot tub in no time at all. Jay was professional, knowledgeable, and worked quickly. And he saved me money rather than gouge me for a new heating element. I'll be calling them every time I need something fixed on this hot tub, or for a new tub purchase.

They seemed to be qualified. They took care of what needed to be taken care of. I felt that their price was relatively high.

Derek was very knowledgeable and efficient in getting the job done. He arrived promptly and had the job done by the next day.

The technician was able to come to my new house within an hour of my request for service. He explained the operation of the hot tub and provided the necessary chemicals.

Derrick is very excellent in his repairs and knowledge base of many different brands. I am very impressed with his ability to come in to the problem mid-stream and still assess the problem correctly and repair it. He didn't even charge me for the service call, because I had paid a prior repairman who was not able to complete the job.
