LOWES

They have really good deals on appliances and they have free delivery. I buy most my appliances for my rentals there. However, sometime it is hard to get a hold of people in the appliance department, but once you do the service is great.

The manager when confronted with the paperwork from the original order said, oh yeah I hear that all the time from people. Really, all the time? Maybe it is time for you to a) find another job to which you are more suited or b) train your people to stop with the bait and switch.
We canceled our order, Of course the manager felt it was our fault, I guess for listening to her employees, and went to their nearest competitor where we were treated professionally. Sometimes paying a bit more is better than being lied to. We are done with a company which follows the practices of Lowes.

We go there because of its convenient locations. Every home improvement thing you do is prefixed to Lowe's. They are always very helpful. The prices there are always good. They give a military discount.

You can cross reference this with my Swamptech review. I actually talked to both Lowe's swamp cooler subcontractor installers. Swamptech I used and the other one. I could have put the cooler in myself but I used Lowe's to save time. I spent more time coordinating between Lowe's and the subcontractor and resisting the subcontractors up sells. (they always wanted to see me before doing anything so they could try to up sell me). Buy the cooler and install it yourself or stay away from Lowe's and their swamp cooler subcontractors. Also lowes called to see how the job went but would not talk to me because my tenant was there at the install not me.

Lately, we prefer to go to Lowe's because they seem to have better products. I think their price is reasonable. Their customer service is fine. It is a hit and miss thing; it depends on what you are looking for. Sometimes, you get a really great service help there; other times, the person does not seem to know much of anything.

I would not send them to my worst enemy. Nothing was as stated. It came in 3 pieces, not one and it took over six months. They were not very flexible and would not even let us change the style or type to speed up delivery. The cabinet was not measured correctly.

I have never used Lowe's before, but I thought they were great! Lowe's is very professional, and I would hire them in again. They did a wonderful job on everything they did for me.

They did a pretty good job. The only problem was that they installed the tank on the input side and not on the output side where it was suppose to go. They did a great job at cleaning up their mess though.
