He did not perform any of the work because it was going to be very expensive. He figured out our A/C problems when no one else could. Tom was very nice to deal with.

Very smooth and helpful service. The service worker even went above and beyond to offer opinion on how to optimally run the systems I have.

They were professional, showed up on time, completed the work in one day, cleaned up their mess, and we had no issues with them. They worse fabric slippers to prevent dirt around our house and will perform a follow up to the inspection.

Jeff from Just Right came out to look at my non-functioning AC system. I'd previously had two different well-known local HVAC companies come out; one company told me I needed a $1200 repair inside the central unit (furnace) but would not guarantee that it would actually solve the problem or offer a refund if it didn't...and another company that just wanted to sell me a new $4000 system. Just Right took the time to diagnose the problem...and no, it wasn't the internal problem that that other company suggested. Had I gone with them I would've been out $1200. What I particularly liked about the experience was that there was zero "pitch" or pressure to buy a new system or go with a particular service. I was presented several options (diagnosis only, removal of defective unit, partial replacement or complete new system) and given prices on each option. And I say this again, no pressure on a particular option. I ended up choosing to replace the condenser and compressor (the outdoor parts). This option cost about half of what a basic [full/complete] new system would cost. My house is now comfy in the heat and I didn't have to break my budget. Thanks Jeff & Just Right!

As part of finishing the basement, I had asbestos removed from a 1928 house. It was easier to remove the asbestos by demolishing the old ductwork, plus we wanted new ductwork with a lower profile. My contractor brought in 3 companies for a bid. Just Right wasn't the least expensive, but you could tell they "got it". They knew we intended to finish the basement, and looked for ways to help maximize headroom. They did a great job in keeping the ductwork neat and tight. They ran new exaust vents for the dryer and for a new bathroom. They also had to fashion custom connections between the new ductwork and the upstairs vents -- large in wall vents, not the 12" floor registers you'd find in new homes. The did a great job, and were able to work on short notice. They added new ductwork the day after the old asbestos ductwork was removed, so the house was not without heat for long.

Install went great, everything works/looks better than expected. Bonus was that this system was the best spec'ed of all the bids, and least expensive by far! When first hot day arrived, AC was having a little difficulty keeping up - the owner, Dan, showed up within an hour of our call and made sure freon charge was right (originally charged up on a very cold day) and everything is working great (much better than the old system!).

Since it is slated to get up into the 90's this weekend, we figured that we would find a HVAC company to do an AC tune up asap! Being new to Angie's List (signed up 5/7/13), we looked up HVAC and found Just Right Heating and Cooling. I called them and they agreed to send out a tech the same afternoon! Jeff arrived, put shoe covers on (a nice touch considering it was raining), and proceeded to service the AC. He was very professional in explaining what he was going to do, then giving me details on how the unit was running. I am very pleased with their service and technician. I will use them in the future!

They were really really good. The man wrote me up an estimate, and told me all the things that we could do to fix the cold air that was in the upper part of our house. He was kind to go up and beyond to explain things to us. He also informed us that our furnace and AC was insufficient. He was great at explaining what was done wrong in our home with the duct work and other things that would help us.

They arrived on time , and were very pleasant guys. There were a few hiccups after they left , a value not turned on , [that was fixed the following day ] the exhaust pipe on the outside of the house was turned towards the house causing ice to form on our rock facade ,[they came out the following day to cut and reposition the pvc pipe ] then we noticed we could see the outside where the intake pipe and exhaust pipe were so my husband filled in around the pipes with expandable foam [an easy fix] . They stand behind their work which is saying a lot for a company . And bottom line our house is nice and warm.

They were careful, thoughtful, and prompt. I called, spoke with someone, and they had someone out to the house the next day (at our request - we weren't available same day). Their repair person was courteous and on-time, and explained to my husband exactly what he was doing and why. Terrific value!

They were really good and we referred some friends to them. They were on time and dependable. They were honest and fair. They are a great company.

Had to have them out last year, after getting a tune up by a different company, due to a 'whooshing' noise the furnace would make every time it turned on. The guy found a part that had been replaced with a non factory part that was causing the noise. He also checked for other things because there were known recalls he wanted to make sure had been taken care of. Called them out this year for a tune-up, and he found a capacitor that went out, and we had that replaced. 10% off because we were already customers. He also adjusted the amount of gas being released, which had been worked on by the previous company. He was a little late this time, but it is a busy time of year.

Both of the workman were professional and polite. They were concerned about protecting the areas of the house they were working in. After each day they explained what had been done and what was to be finished the next day. Ihave no hesitation calling them again.

We had Just Right do another job for us and that cost $640 to install a cold air return in our basement. I thought that was pretty expensive since the job seemed pretty straightforward and didn't require a ton of materials. But they are highly rated on Angies List and Gephardt Approved so I wanted to use them again. Jeff came on the scene within the scheduled time frame to check the furnace. He was thorough and found no cracks even though he said he expected to since it is pretty old. But he gave it a clean bill of health. He discussed pricing options and explained rebate options that may incentivize us to get a new more efficient now but he used no pressure. He just explained our options and let us choose what worked best for us. I usually hate experiences like this because it is easy to get ripped off...like what Whipple plumbing did to us last year when they charged us $600 to fix a pressure regulator in our home. That was a terrible experience and there was a lot of pressure to buy their gold membership package. It was very expensive and complex service package options with long-term commitments when I only needed for the one job. It was miserable and very very expensive. Enough ranting and back to Jeff with Just Right. Jeff was very professional and fair. There was even some confusion about pricing and Jeff knocked off $20 for the misunderstanding. And for a small amount he sold us a service package to service our air conditioner in the spring. He was neat and clean and thorough, no pressure. Good value. I was impressed.

Jason was at my home at the time he said he would be. A good job was done. he not only inspected and cleaned my heater but looked at my water heater, and my A/C because they are all tied together.Jason was professional, and knew all about my system.No hard selling,but did reconmend a new thermostate,which I liked to know if my system was fuctioning right.Yes I plan on calling "Just Right Heating And Cooling" Thanks.

Called Just Right Heating and Cooling and they were very prompted at getting me on the schedule and giving me a specific time for my appointment. The service guy showed up on time and was very polite and professional. He tested and cleaned the entire AC unit. He explained the entire process and was very conscious not to damage or dirty my home. I would recommend Just Right Heating and Cooling for any needs your heating and cooling system may need.

Mike was very specific about the type of cleaning the furnace and blower needed. He also discovered that the outside unit was frozen. We had some clogged coils and he was able to determine that the furnace and coils needed a good cleaning. After going over the details of what he would do, I authorized him to go forward. Once he completed the job, he told us our air conditioning unit was about 10 years old and has plenty of life in it. We are nowhere near needing a new one as a previous company had suggested to us. He recommended having a tune up every other year for maintenance. I felt I could trust him as soon as he started explaining everything to me and also felt confident he would complete the job in the amount of time he said he would, and that the estimate would be accurate in the end as it was. I am grateful we found this company and I will definitely put them on my permanent list of service companies!

They were great. They came in and found a very small problem and fixed it quickly. They showed me how I could take care of it the next time which was really good.

Our furnace went out when we were out of town and had construction people working there (fortunately)! We researched several companies through Angie's List and received bids from 3 companies. Just Right's bid came in with the furnace closest to the size and type we wanted with the best price. Because our previous furnace only had 2 wires going to the thermostat and the newer efficiency furnaces require 3-wires, they had to install a fancy expensive thermostat, which they did at no extra charge. When we arrived back at our place, the thermostat wasn't allowing us to program it. However, when I called Dan Deardon and explained, he came right out that day and reprogrammed the thermostat and it is working beautifully now.

The repairman arrived promptly and went through some troubleshooting to determine the cause of the furnace malfunction. He discussed different repair options with us. He did not have the needed part on-hand, so he did a temporary fix to get us heat until he could return the following week with the part. We were very pleased with his work.
