One evening the lifting springs for the garage door broke and we weer not able to open the garage door automatically. The original door company had gone out of business and I had to search for a new company. After a little research, we settled on Crawford Doors. It was advertised on Angie's List and we followed the lead and visited the store in Salt Lake . We got a good estimate for a replacement door, followed up with a visit by Crawford to inspect the old garage door. In the course of inspecting the original garage door, we discovered that our problem of door spring failure was due to the fact that the original owner had installed a door that was too big and heavy for the type of garage that was built for the house. It was doom to break a yeear or year and a half after replacing the supporting springs. In short, to merely replace the springs would have been a waste of money and only a short term fix. After the inspection, we settled on the particulars of the work order, signed a contract and scheduled an installation date.My wife , in particular, was happy about the selection of doors, windows and color. We signed a contract and scheduled an installation date. Since the end of 2011, we have not had any problems with the new door and it looks a lot better that the old beat up original.

Service technician showed up at the estimated time given, was knowledgable, friendly, and efficient. He completed the work in about an hour, and recommended other types of new doors we might be interested in. He honored the Angie's list coupon also. We're completely satisfied.

Excellent work and customer service. Highly responsive. Fit me in immediately into a cancellation. Didn't even need to be home to have the work done. Lifetime warranty with the company. They are definitely my new service provider. Highly recommend their services. Not inexpensive, but worth the cost to me.

Our garage door wouldn't go up or down under power. I called and the service tech was here the same day. He adjusted the power setting on the controller and lubed all the rollers and the screw drive. He also warned us that the printed circuit of the controller would need to be replaced next time it happened. He then showed me the parts to lube to keep it functioning well. I have since done my own lube service when the door got sticky with great results. He not only provided excellent, courteous service, but saved me money for repeat visits. I am extremely pleased.

My garage door would not operate normally. Called Crawford and they came out very quickly. Great and timely response. We needed a new opener and opted for the slightly more expensive 'quiet' model because our bedroom is directly above the garage. The service was fast and very well done. And the quiet model was a great choice. Sometimes when I hit the button by the door I have to look at the door to see if it really moving.

It took a couple of days before the service person could come because they were so busy. They arrived on time and had the job done in about an hour. I haven't had any problems in the 2 weeks since the repair was done.

The experience had to do with a garage door opener that Crawford had installed last year. It had become very noisy when opening and closing so we called and aked if they would come look at and give options to remediate. The said the call was within warranty and they offered a lubricant that worked very well. They also left us a tube and instructions for further use. We would highly recommend Crawford Doors!

Called late Monday afternoon and described the broken spring issue. A recommendation was made to replace both springs, not just the broken one, and I agreed. An appointment was set for Tuesday before Noon. The technician arrived at 9:50 am and completed the repair by 10:30 am. The company accepted a 10% discount coupon for Angie's List members. Very positive experience from start to finish.

We worked with two Crawford technicians - both were prompt, friendly, respectful, and very efficient. The product we purchased is great! They were great!

We were out of town when it happened and my sister was watching the kids. Called them and left a message. He came right out and fixed it.

We had received a quote for a new garage door from a competitor. The price seemed high and they couldn't install for 4 weeks. I called Crawford Door Sales and Jay came out to do an estimate a few hours later. When I placed the order for the new door, installation was scheduled for 8 days later. The door is a basic style, with windows and insulation, and it looks great. The competitor had told us we needed new controls, but Crawford did not. Between the new controls that weren't needed, and the lower price on the Crawford door (which appeared to be the same quality as the competitor's door), we paid much less than what the competitor quoted us. Curtis showed up for the installation on time, was friendly and professional, and had the new door fully installed in about 2 hours. Crawford Door Sales is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Friendly employees, prompt service, great product, and good value. Highly recommended! We will call them for every garage door need!

Randy called me at 13:12, the same day, and the springs were installed and Randy was gone by 14:08. What more could you expect? Well done Randy, Crawford Door!!

Called Crawford and explained the situation (the bolt/gear had broken holding the motor on) and was told quickly this is very common for the Liftmaster door and they could have somenone out to repair it the next day! They honored the Angie's list discount and the technician was about 30 min late but he called beforehand to apologize, repaired the door in less than an hour and the whole experience was fabulous. They were all very courteous and so quick to respond! I would highly recommend them.

I called Crawford in the late morning, was told they'd have someone come this afternoon. Within an hour, the Scott had come and installed the system.

I called on Monday; Randy called me back on Tuesday morning. He came, saw, fixed, and was gone before noon. He was professional throughout, explained what he was doing, and made sure everything needed was taken care of before he left.

The original purpose of the call was a broken spring on the old door. We had been thinking about replacing the door for several years so this provided the opportunity. When I called they immediately offered to come to the house on a Saturday on an emergency if we needed to get the door open right away. It was unnecessary so we scheduled the full service for a week later. They were capable of coming sooner but we decided to wait a week. They arrived on the scheduled morning on time. They replaced the door including tracks and reattached my existing door opener in just under four hours. The installers took the time to explain to me everything they were going to do and they asked a few questions about my preferences as they progressed. They charged exactly what was estimated and honored an Angies list coupon for 10 percent off. I am very happy with the quality of what I received. I am completely satisfied with the total service from the telephone support to the installation.

Very responsive. Work was done well and the cleanup afterwards was great.

Our garage door stopped working this morning. I called at 11:30 AM and got very friendly people at Crawford's. The service manager listened to my story, asked what make of door opener I had and made a presumptive diagnosis of a stripped gear based on my story. He sent out a technician immediately. The technician arrived within about 20 minutes which is about the driving time needed between here and there. He had the right kit for the job and quickly pulled out the worn gear and replaced it with a minimum of fuss. After replacement of the worn part, he tested, adjusted the belt drive and then he was done. The technician was also quite courteous and knowledgeable. Considering that the whole interaction from start to finish was less than 90 minutes, I would say this was fantastic service. I will certainly call them again if we have any more needs.

I called late yesterday and they were able to come by mid-day today. Took about 30 minutes and it works like new. I am very happy with the amount of time it took and the result. The person that did the work was friendly and found the problem quickly. He obviously knew what he was doing.

The guy came out, fixed it beautifully and it seemed perfectly reasonable priced to me. We spent about $100 on that service, but he really repaired it and put in a new steel thing to keep it steady and all kinds of stuff.

Great honest company! I called to get my keypad opener replaced. The service tech diagnosed the problem over the phone with a few simple questions as a battery problem. He told me how to replace the battery and saved me the cost of service call. I had no idea it had a battery rather than being hard wired! When I complimented him on his honesty and helpfulness, he was gracious and asked that I did call them if I ever had a more serious problem. Companies don't get better than this, they have my customer loyalty and this is the only company I will call for doors and door repairs!

Went very well, except the installer was about an hour late (usually not a big deal, but I was taking off the morning from work). The installer did an excellent job, very nice clean installation and was open for questions, etc. Very good overall experience with Crawford Door.

Everything went very well. I called on 10/24/2011 in the morning describing the problem with the garage door. I was provided a estimate over the phone and an appointment for later that morning. Randy arrived right around the early time estimate and was able to confirm the problem and perform the repair in about 45 minutes. He went over the work he did with me and pointed out a couple of minor issues as well. The price was very close to the estimate (within $5).

It wasn't an insulated door. It took a long time to get on their schedule probably because they have a lot of business. It took a while for them to come out. Everything else was fine. We thought the price was a little high but we didn't do any research. It was an insurance company thing and they paid for it and took their estimate so they must have been happy. We would use them again.
