They took a week to do a1-2 day job. We were contacted saying week be there at this time. Well we waited and waited finally call them, we weren't even on the list. Guy showed up tore some floor up and left. Took 4 more times. To get the sub flour in. There are gaps and uneven spots.

Buyer beware! They will try to wring every penny they can out of you. They'll also want you to sign an agreement stating you have to pay what the invoice says even if it is wrong. Pay attention to the price as they tried to raise the price on me 3 different times without telling me. Every time I communicated with them over email or over the phone, the price would go up and up. No one took accountability for it and blamed it on each other. I refused to sign the agreement and demanded they fix the invoice or I wouldn't pay it. They finally agreed to what I was originally quoted and I paid in full. I found Utah Flooring and Design (ADBA: Utah Floor Coverings) through homeadvisor.com which has actually been an excellent resource. If you do choose to work with Utah Flooring and Design (Utah Floor Coverings) make sure you don't work with Paul Turpin, nor Jason Darger. The contractor they used to do the lacing did a phenomenal job. High quality work and he was very honest. His name was Matt Walton. Ask for him to do your work.

We are only half way through our project. But they have been good to work with so far.

The first installer they sent came sick and couldn't do the work, so they sent another (who as great!) and gave me a discount for the trouble. Very good treatment of a customer and good value for the money.

The people were friendly but, I wouldn't hire them IF you have other things to do. I was told a timeframe and that was extended out longer after I called to see where they were. I was also quoted a price and after I paid for the job when they came to start I was told that the person misquoted me by over $900. They wanted me to pay $600 of that and I finally told them I would split the difference. After all that there is high spots in my floor.

The subcontractor did a great job and was very conscientious.

There was one delay after another. The job was taking longer than necessary until the project manager got involved. Then it proceeded quickly.

I was given a quote Friday, did the demo myself Sunday so they could work on it Monday from 8am-11am only to be pushed back to Tuesday between 8am-11am only to be pushed further back to 12pm-1pm and have the guy arrive at 2pm. He came by looking un prepared to work and started making measurements and the price started to rise. After all of that I've been pushed back to Wednesday for a higher price. I called to get a refund of my down-payment and they said the project manager would get back to me and he never did. 3 days without a working shower and I'm at a loss of over 500 dollars with no help from them.DO NOT USE UTAH FLOORING AND DESIGN UPDATE: They never called back and even though it says they close at 6, their voice-mail said they were closed at 5:12. So unprofessional. I also went outside and saw they left the hardy board leaning up on my fence. It's windy outside and I'll hold them responsible for any damages to my property UPDATE: They are refusing a full refund saying they keep 25% for work done (they haven't done diddly squat) and they keep additional money for materials already purchased. I told them to return the material to home Depot for their refund or hand it over to me. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE COMPANY

I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. THE GUYS THAT INSTALLED MY TILE WAS SUPPOSED TO INSTALL A NEW TOILET, BUT THEY TOLD ME THAT WASN'T PART OF THE JOB! THAT THEY DIDN'T KNOW HOW! I WAS QOUTED WITH INSTALLATION OF TOILET!! I WAS ALRIGHT WITH INSTALLATION OF TILE EXCEPT THE GROUT CRACKED WHERE TILE MEETS TUB. WHEN I CALLED THEM THEY SENT SOMEONE OUT TO LOOK AT IT. HE SAID IT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN CAULKED. HE WAS GOING TO HAVE INSTALLERS COME AND FIX IT. THE INSTALLERS CAME AND TOLD ME THEY HAD NO CAULK, SO THEY WENT TO HOME DEPOT TO GET SOME AND THEY TOLD ME THEY WERE OUT! I WENT DOWN THE NEXT DAY AND BOUGHT SOME!! THE COMPANY WOULDN'T EVEN CALL ME!!!! THIS COMPANY ISN'T VERY PROFESSIONAL!!! DON'T HAVE THEM DO ANYTHING!!!!

The workers smoked in my house. They took 5 days to do a 2 day job. They took out the toilet without consulting me then tried to charge me to put it back in. They took my broom, my chalk line, a bucket, a sponge and parts to my toilet that I needed to put it back. The tile they installed looks good, they did a good job on that except they didn't do hardly any clean up and they left mortar in my sink. Large chunks of mortar got into my garbage disposal and ruined it.
