I would not hire this company again. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Just had our main floor and entire basement completed in (wood-looking) laminate. (Got great prices at Floor & Decor.) We had them do everything: demo & install, clean up & baseboards. [Never had communication problems like other reviews have stated. In fact they seemed to over-communicate, called a lot to verify, check in, etc.] Pedro was our installer-super nice & did awesome! Our home looks beautiful.

They never show up when they schedule an appointment. You call them and get the response "let me make some calls and I'll get right back to you" they never call back but a couple days later someone shows up. The flooring schedule was to begin on 6/27/17 "no one showed up for that appointment. After some phone calls they said they would get right back to me. They never called back but some one did show up the next day." Project was to be completed on 07/04/17. Because on several occasions no one showed up and trying to get answers was impossible. For the most part they finally said they were finished on 07/15/17. How ever they were supposed to be back to fix some problems. They have set up several dates to be here but no one ever shows up. As of today 08/25/17 they still have not been here to fix the problem.

I sent an email question but they did not reply.Questionable on customer service

We had a terrible experience with Utah floor coverings. It took them twice to get the job right because they used the wrong grout and we just found out the shower pan was incorrectly and has been leaking into the unit below us and they will not repair or replace the shower.

This is one of the most disorganized companies I have every worked with. Communications between subcontractors was very very poor. They were unclear on what we needed to provide versus what should have been there responsibility. Reaching them was difficult. The contract they tried to get me to sign was very unfair and one sided. They often charged my card without requesting approval. The subs I worked with were good once we got the right person scheduled. This was a simple job but the experience was very negative.

We had our carpet re-stretched after having it cleaned. The flooring company responded quickly and I thought the price was fair. Initially I thought it was a pretty good job but upon closer inspection I found some issues. In a couple of areas the carpet is pulled away from the wall leaving a 1/4" gap. One of my baseboard heaters had to be put back together correctly. Overall, I am ok with the job but it could have been done better. I think 3 to 3.5 stars is about right.

My floor is beautiful and it was done in good time. Communication due to several different "bosses" over the job was a little sketchy. All in all, I would recommend them.

Utah floor & Design were professional from begining to end. Kevin, salesman, Heber, project manager and Justin, tile installer took care of all my concerns and questions in a professional manner as if I was their only customer. I truly appreciate the file product and how honest they were with me.

They gave me a quote because I didn't know the measurements of my house when I called but they never adjusted the price to the size of the job they just took the estimated price

They showed up when they said they would. Justin Lewis did a great job and it looks wonderful.

This company comes on like they are some huge company with hundreds of personnel working for them. Don't be fooled by their tactics they are very good at getting every penny out of you. They get the jobs that they charge more than double for. Then they hire subcontractors to com and do the work. So here's what happens. You hire Utah Flooring & Design to do a jod for you. They have you sign a contract for them to do the job. The contract has only Their interests in the contract. Nothing in the contract is to protect the the consumer for anything. Then Utah Flooring has a bunch of subcontractors come and go thru your house or project. Then Utah flooring uses the lowest bidding subcontractor out of all that come to look at and bid on the job. Then the whole time while the job is going on they work every angle they can on you to get every penny they can by claiming all sorts of things. And when you don't fall for the extra charges then they slow down the finish date unless your like me and they just completely stop working even though you paid them for the whole job. Yep I know. And I thought that what they promised was all good but I was wrong. If your still crazy enuff to use this company DO NOT PAY THEM UNTIL ALL WORK IS COMPLETE AND SATISFACTORY.!!!! Look closely at what they done and if it's not just as you want don't pay for it because they will never come back. They will rip you off.

The company did not come on the day that they stated that they would. We had arranged a hotel so that we would be out of our home so that they could work. We had to pay for an extra day at the hotel which we had not planned on. The baseboards were not taped, consequently the sander made black marks all across the the baseboards about 3/4" off the floor. I am now having to repaint these areas by hand. In many areas the filler between the solid red oak boards did not take well and we were left with holes in many of the spaces between the oak flooring. The finish looks nice but I would have liked a more organized and professional response from the company.

Really happy with the way the floors turned out. Michael in the office was great to work with.

The estimator was prompt, knowledgeable and efficient. The person sent to do the demolition was prompt. But for two days no installer, finally had someone come after a week. The estimate included a re-stretch of my dining room carpet. Charge was sent through before that service was performed. still not performed. The installer who finally came did a beautiful job.
