We hired this company since they came a few hundred dollars lower. Day of installation, a sub showed up, and had no idea of the project. They just had a work order, I called the sales person who did the quote. Could not get a hold of him and then finally called me back an hour later. Told him the problem and he said he would their office to call the sub. At some point, the issues got resolved. During the entire time the sub and his team worked, they had music blaring and then had to talk at the top of their lungs because of the loud music. At some point, I went downstairs to ask them to turn down the volume so I can hear myself during my videoconference. They said what? I cannot hear you. The company that hired the sub did not bother to check in the work until the end of the day to make sure I sign their documents. Last but not least, the sub claimed they completed work on the quote that they did not. I told the office person I have surveillance videos that would prove they did not do the work, I was refunded after a week, but the office person said wow when I told her I have proof. I should have paid the extra few hundred dollars for the other company. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I absolutely love my floors! Camren Borg was a hard worker and very meticulous about the way things were done. Utah Floorings did a great job communicating and setting expectations . Would definitely hire again!

These guys were awesome. As for the guy who was upset that they took the other half out of his checking when the installer arrived. This guy obviously doesn't work in the construction industry. The product was on the job and they were beginning the install.

Tile guy was amazing, carpet not so much.

Paid 1/2 money up front just to get on the schedule then just after the installer arrived they took the other 1/2 out of my checking account before he even started which I thought was kind of cheezy but that is what is in their contract

Very knowledgeable, respectful of household and overall did a great job.

The carpet itself is of great quality, but the installers who put it in, cut my living room cable connection. We had just bought this home and have not even moved in completely. So there is no way for me to get cable now unless I have the cable lines in my home re-wired since the wiring came through the floor of the living room. I reached out to the rep who came out to take measurements about the situation and was just ignored. I had shown him pictures of the situation and did not get any response back. He said that he would discuss it with the management team and still, nothing. Then there is an issue with the transition from the vinyl planking to the carpet. I do not know what the installer did, but I cannot even lay down a transition strip to make it look decent because he had it lifted up about an inch. The product is great, but the installers and the customer service for the price we paid. They obviously do not care about the quality of their work or customer service. Not happy at all with it.

Once they have your money, good luck getting them to return calls. One worker knew what he was doing. The salesman all but called me a liar. After the first coat of urethane it felt like sandpaper. Same with second coat. They buffed the floor after I said it wasn't acceptable. Even after the third coat, there are several places the woodgrain can be felt. They offered to come fix it's however, I don't want them in my home again. Utah flooring and design said the finishers work for them. The lead worker said he was a subcontractor.

Tara, Paul, and their team did a wonderful job on my den parquet, so I hired them again for my oak floor refinish in the kitchen and hallway. They came for estimates quickly and communicated well with me. Paul made an extra trip to solve some problems with the flooring that were revealed after the cabinets were demo-ed. The installers were very efficient and worked quickly. The outcome is absolutely perfect! ( Also, they were very patient with delays due to the cabinet supply chain issues).

From start to finish, the experience with Utah Flooring and Design was wonderful. Paul came to give the initial bid, and explained the options to us. I appreciated the honesty that he displayed, where he told me what we could do, advised us on the most cost-effective solutions and also showed me examples of all the work that the company had undertaken. The quote provided was competitive. I decided to use this company because they seemed very organized. I was not disappointed - the paperwork provided detailed information on the whole process, showed what we would go through at every step, outlined what would be done and what we could do to ensure the smoothest experience for our floor sanding and finishing. When the project started, Tara contacted me and was always available to answer questions. Everything that needed to be done was done on time and efficiently. Our installer was Jesse â it is clear why he is so good at what he does. With over 20 years in the business, we knew we were in good hands. He was a perfectionist. He was using the latest machines to get the best results. Our home is from the 1920s, but thanks to Jesse the floor looks brand new. We are so happy because it is a hardwood floor, and helping to preserve the character of the home was a big objective for us. Thank you, Jesse, for making our living room floor so beautiful. I would recommend Utah Flooring and Design without hesitation to anyone looking for a great job at a competitive price, particularly if you are sanding and finishing your hardwood floor.

Utah Flooring & Design just completed a sand and finish job for me. I am very pleased. Jack was my estimator and did a good job creating a competitive bid. Jesse and Steve were my installers. They were dependable and professional. Tara followed up with me regarding my project. I've already reached out to them to bid on another job!

UT. Flooring did a really good job on my floors. The two gentlemen that did the refinish really knew their stuff. I would definitely recommend them.

We had some communications when scheduling my appointment. That was really worked out. Their workmanship was very professional. The workers arrived promptly and did a great job on the quick repair that was needed.

Their business model does not work for the customer. The company brings in subcontractors to do work. They have project managers do the scheduling and it never pans out as planned. Lots of delays and reschedules. The subs were noticeably agitated in my presence. The carpet guy was on his phone and arguing in Spanish with someone the whole time he was installing my carpet. The vinyl flooring installer did not put trim pieces on before leaving. There was a lot of unused material at end of the job. Presumably, I paid for all of that and the company made money on the material overage. The vinyl installer tried to convince me he could mix previously mixed concrete dust with water and re-apply it to the floor to fill the low spot. He must have thought I was an idiot. I paid a ton of money for my flooring and I am sure this company made a lot of profit off of me. I will not hire this company again for any flooring project. I suggest you avoid hiring them too.

The job was very well done! Fast and clean. Very friendly too! The floors look awesome. From start to finish a pleasant experience. Would hire again.

They were in such a hurry the job they did was poor. There were holes in the corners in the carpet was not stretched properly. They chose to put a seam on a diagonal. The seam was very visible. I would not call them back. Update 11/03/21 Utah Flooring & Design did come back and fixed the corner covered the holes seam is still visible installation sloppy and holes for air vent is uneven I had to cut carpet for air vent to fit

Utah Flooring and Design provided the most competitive bid for the installation of vinyl plank flooring in our Park City UT condo. Cameron, the estimator, was spot-on with the quantity of materials procured with only a half-dozen planks left-over which we will keep incase a replacement is needed. And Mitch, the installer, was professional and fastâ ¦and our flooring looks absolutely beautiful. Thank you for helping us through a major home renovation project.
