Exceptionally well trained, the service men knew what they were doing. The owner was very professional in responding to questions and concerns, and even came to the site to ensure everything was handled when a complication arose. The only barrier to completely turning over all my sprinkler needs to them is cost; two men come to work on the job, and anything over the tune up cost - basically anything to repair is something like $80.00 per person per hour; so $160. an hour for two people minimum for repairs. There trucks are well stocked for parts for most sprinkler systems, but not drip systems.

The workers were on time, and ahead of budget and schedule. They installed a new guide tube, straightened the valve and tightened up the manifold. All told, they fixed my system for a lot less than was expected and did the work in about 2 1/2 hours. They also repaired the lawn they had to dig up ( a very small area.)

They were very punctual and did a good job.

I was advised that the deal allowed for only an hour to diagnose the system, a major issue was discovered but only because of my insistence that they perform an overall check before concentrating on smaller issues. I felt they were trying to go past the one hour paid for. They then quoted me what I believe was an outrageous price for the one major issue repair.

This did not go well. Parker, the owner gave a bid and plan for work to be done. Later his workers came and did not do what was planned. Parker said this was because it would have not been possible to do what was planned and wanted additional payment. Later his workers returned and said that it would have possible to do what was planned. Rather they did not know what to do because they could not reach Parker on the day they came. He also gave a bid on another project. After obtaining other bids, his was much more expensive.

I recently had a guy come to do sprinkler repair. It cost $580. They could have done everything better, I had to redo everything myself. So I had to dig all those up and replace them.

The repair leaks a little bit. It wasn't quite perfect.

I wasn't out there when they came but my grandson was. All I did was have the secretary set up the appointment. When they came out, my grandson couldn't understand them so he could not say what they said. He asked them how to turn it on and they weren't real clear. They should have someone that speaks English there.

Hot Shots was great to work with and I would call them again in a heartbeat. They were prompt, personable and really knew what they were doing. There was no surprise upsell or charge.

Although the initial experience was not very good, once the owner learned of the issues and my lack of satisfaction, he quickly came and fixed the problems and made sure I was happy with the result. He also provided some good education on how to do some of my own adjustments in the future.

Two man came out, one spoke English but the other one didn't. They could communicate to each other but I couldn't understand them and I believe they were communicating to each other about what was wrong with my system however they never communicated it with me. They were here for about half an hour.

Get what you pay for. Be wary or stand over these guys to make sure they do what you request. They just blatantly lied to me. After the fact pretty hard to get characters like this to come back so didn't even try. Just chalked it up to a learning experience in this day and age.

Scheduled appointment for 5:30 pm. Told them I don't get home till 5:15 at the earliest. When my wife got home at 4:45, they were parked in front of house waiting. She let them in the yard to work. My problem was a small area in the front yard and a small area in the back yard were not getting enough water. The rest of the lawn (90%) was getting plenty of water, Just these two small areas (less than 10% of total yard area) had a problem. They completed their work and were gone by the time I got home at 5:25 pm. They left behind a paper explaining what they had done. It says " we just set the timer so it waters more on the dry spots". I could have done that myself! The majority of the lawn was getting plenty of water, so now I'm using more water than I need to keep the lawn green. I needed the sprinkler heads in the dry areas adjusted to provide better coverage to the dry spots, not add more water to the whole lawn. I then called their office and explained what my issue was. The person who answered the phone stated she would talk to the technicians and clarify what they did, stating they may have adjusted the heads and just forgot to write it down. She promised to call me back. I waited a couple of days, but no return call. Then I called the office again and got their voice mail and left a message asked for a return call. It's been several days now with no return call. I am not a happy customer.

All the people who helped me were helpful and friendly.

They had to reschedule once due to a sick employee, but arrived on-time for the second appointment. They were quick, professional, and I really like the way they set up the system (much better than the landscaper who installed it.)

Two men came. They checked each station and simply told me that 9 heads had to be replaced. They did not clean or adjust any of the heads. They quoted a price of $400.00. When I questioned what seemed to me to be an excessively high cost they stated that they gave the highest possible charge so that actual charges would not exceed the quote and that i could call the office and negotiate a better price. I tried to call the office twice and my calls were not returned. The third time I called I stated that I would be leaving a poor rating on Angie's List if my call was not returned. I did finally receive a call and understand that there was a family issue that delayed the return call. Bottom line is that I was told that the price could not be reduced. They would send out staff to check and clean the sprinklers. I called Akimoto Sprinklers and they cleaned, adjusted and replaced all non working heads and charged me $128.00

I met the owner at the Home and Garden show and explained my situation. He assured me that he had been in the landscaping and sprinkler business for over 30 years and was really good at trouble shooting and repairing systems. He stated that his business had evolved to just repairing systems and he was the best there was. Parker came to house and said it would be a fairly easy fix and gave me a bid for $1000.00 to $1200.00 dollars. He also stated I should put in a drip system which he would do for an additional $800.00 to $900.00. After talking with my wife we decided we could not afford the drip system at that time. Parker and another man showed up on the appointed date and began the work and we had already dug the main trench for the wiring and the main water line. It took most of the first day just figuring where the water lines ran and very little work was completed. The nest day the helper showed up and spent the next 2 1/2 hours walking around and talking on the phone at 11:30 am 2 more guys showed up and worked for about 3 hrs. The sprinkler was set to come on that night which it did, however, the number 2 station wouldn't shut off. The owner was called and showed up made some adjustments and said try that and he would bring a bill by the next day. The number 2 station wouldn't turn off again. The owner came by the next day and stated that after figuring the bill it came to over $3000.00 and he didn't feel good about billing me that much, so he backed out all his time and all of the helpers time for the second day?????? The new invoice total was $2212.33. I tried to explain to him that the bid was for the $1000.00 to $1200.00 and if I couldn't afford the drip system for an additional $800.00 to $900.00 I couldn't afford the $2212.33 and that I felt the bill was to high and I could have put a whole new system in for that much money. He insisted that I pay the invoice amount. I asked if I could pay the $1200.00 and pay the remainder in 30 days. He insisted I pay the total bill. I then mentioned the 2nd station had not shut off again. He stated he would put me on the schedule to come and replace the front two valves for $300.00 to $400.00. I told him never mind. I then went to England plumbing and they explained how to rebuild the number 2 station and sold me the parts for $30.00. I am very disappointed and feel I was really taken to the cleaners. Be aware!

It went really well, even worked early for my schedule

I called them up and they were right on time when I set the schedule. I had a small problem that they were able to diagnose and take care of, and they even had to pick up an extra part, which they installed for me on site with a small extra charge, which I was expecting.

We bought one of the AL deals for a tuneup. We were having renovations done inside the house at the time, and had scheduled him after our GC left. Hot Shot arrived early, while we were still quite busy with the GC. He asked if he could start and I said ok, but wish I hadn't. He finished and left quickly. I'd expected some adjustments to be done to minimize watering of hardscape, but that didn't happen.

I was hoping they could raise two sprinklers onto a sprinkler pole and I was told that was not possible.
