Angelo from Cisco Fencing the man for the job right from the first meeting. He was on time, professional, and courteous. He listened to our descriptions of the project, and we were able to discuss the various options in detail. He gave us a written estimate at the end of the meeting. After comparing with a handful of other fence companies, I found that Cisco's estimate was very competitive. That, coupled with the confidence that Angelo showed in getting the job done right, earned them the job. The project was complicated because we had a sloping backyard, which dropped about 3 feet as you stepped out 12 feet from the house. So we needed a retaining wall installed, and a 6 ft fence over that. And then the backyard needed to be leveled. Additionally, the existing chain-link fence needed to be demolished and removed. All of this done was done in a very professional manner and right on schedule. The end result was pretty close to how we had imagined it to be.... a completely level backyard, and a nice private area enclosed by 6 ft high wood fencing. What I appreciated was Angelo was available when ever I needed to walk me through the work being done and showing me the progress. Additionally, there were no problem with me being involved (poking my nose) in the planning stages of the work (I was very particular about getting the backyard as level as possible, and paranoid about the height of the retaining wall). Overall, I would highly recommend Angel and Cisco Fencing.

Everything turned out wonderfully. They did great work. Their freehand artwork on the fence and gates was beautifully. I couldn?t be happier and I would use them again.

I contacted Angel Lopez with Cisco Fencing and he came out for an estimate the next day. He was extremely helpful with questions and advice but always deferred to my needs/wants. He was by far the most professional contact I came across during the bidding process for the job. Plus, he had many pictures of their prior work and was happy to go through them with me. I decided that day that his bid was not only the best but also the most encompassing and detailed. We scheduled the job about 45 days later. They came out late morning on the day we agreed to start the project. Angel kept me updated me on the project status, etc - on the 2nd day, he showed me some issues with existing structures that we were going to keep within the new fenceline (fence was going to be built in between 7 brick columns) BUT Angel was concerned that the columns could eventually come down since the existing base to each column was not at an appropriate depth (too shallow and would not hold the weight correctly over time) and therefore they posed a safety risk to the new fence, SO I agreed that we should take them all down (which I wanted to do anyway) and we updated the contract amount and agreed on a fair price for the extra work. They finished the entire project in 4 days - 1 day over the estimate b/c of the added work and b/c it rained for a portion of one of the days (which I already understood weather could add to the completion date). Overall, I am extremely satisfiled with the workmanship/craftmanship and design. The fence looks amazing!! All workers were very helpful, professional and knew what they were doing. Doing business with Angel Lopez was extremely easy and I will most likely use his company again for future projects - new patio/arbors, concrete work, etc.

Angel set a date to start the tear-down of my old termite-infested fence, and kept in close contact with me since we had to reschedule due to weather. They took down and disposed of the old fence, and kept my front yard neat during the whole project. They built the fence onsite, taking care to make sure that everything was completely level. They shaped the top of each post and picket by hand, and built two gates as well. The fence is absolutely beautiful, and I couldn't be more pleased.

We originally met with Angel in late summer but did not proceed with the project until mid-December. We asked three companies to give us estimates, including Angel. From the initial estimates, Angel's was the lowest by a significant amount. When Angel met with us, he gave us a flat price that included the Angie's list discount and an additional discount. While we were impressed with the other two companies and were not making a decision on price alone, we felt that Angel gave us the best deal. Plus, this is a smaller, family-run business, which we liked. Angel assured us that the men who would be installing the fence were men he's worked with for a long time. We were not disappointed! What struck us as interesting, was that within a month, we had received two e-mails from each of the other companies lowering their prices, though still never below Angel's original price. Angel never did. The final price did rise because the additional discount Angel offered us in August was no longer available in November, but his base price did not change. What I appreciated most about Angel was his responsiveness. When there was something to discuss with him, he replied to my messages almost immediately. Even when there was a breakdown in communication about the start date for the work, I felt he was sincerely sorry that I had not gotten the message. To me, it's not that there are problems (there are in every project), but how the company/owner/representative handles the problem. Angel and his crew did so quickly and professionally. The crew kept our yard clean and moved their truck quickly if it blocked our driveway when I had to leave the house. They were polite and allowed my fascinated six-year-old to watch them work. The fence is beautiful, and we are very pleased with Cisco and Angel. I'd characterize Angel as a kind man with a lot of integrity and an outstanding work ethic!

Angel and his crew did a professional job. Angel showed up on time for the estimate and his crew showed up on time and completed the job w/i one day. I received several comments from neighbors on how great the fence looks. I would highlt recommend this company!!

Cisco fencing was top notch! I had them replace a complete fence on a rental property I had because it had received wind damage. I would definitely recommend them and will also be using them at my residence next summer for our fence. They were extremely responsive, he called the same day I left a request and came out for an estimate the next day. I had to wait for some insurance work to be completed, so when I contacted them back a few weeks later, they were able to start the next week. We were then delayed a little from weather, but they worked around it had the whole fencing job done in a total of 3 business days, including staining. I received 3 estimates from fence providers on Angie's list, all this great reports, and it was a tough decision, but I really liked their customer service and responsiveness. I'm happy I went with them. During the project there was a miscommunication with his workers. They took down a piece of side fencing that I wasn't going to replace and was not included in the estimate. By the time I saw it, it was too late I wasn't looking forward to their being a conflict. But instead, he brought it up to me, said it was their mistake and they were replacing it at no additional charge to me. Now that is customer service, taking the responsibility right off the bat like that, I was very impressed and grateful it didn't turn the whole experience sour and they will definitely get my business in the future.

Angel from Cisco came out quickly and gave me a bid. He walked me through how they would tear down, set poles and then 3 days later put up the new fence. He helped me make decisions about a few areas. When the day came to build the fence, he sent 4 good workers and it was done by the end of the day. I highly recommend this company. Betsy Wheat Plano

I called for a quote. We scheduled the appointment for Monday at 6pm. I waited 1 hour before realizing that i had been stood-up ;) - I called back Tuesday thinking I had mistakenly rushed home on the wrong day. He said that he was not able to find it. -

I called them for a quote on Friday. They promised the next day. They were a bit late showing up, but tackled the job and finished it that day (Saturday). They did a quality job, including setting three (3) new posts in concrete and reinstalling the fallen section of fence to "as good as new" condition and honored their quoted price. Will likely use them again for future fence work.

I was happy with them and I was happy with the cost.

They were very prompt and professional. They have very good quality workmanship. The fence is excellent.

There wasn?t anything that we didn?t like about them. They did an excellent job. They were very friendly, easy to work with, and delivered on their commitments. We were very pleased with them.

Excellent experience. Angel came out right away for an estimate. Cost was about the same as other estimates. We told him we had to wait for our HOA approval before construction began. This was delayed and Angel adjusted the start date, as well as the actual construction details necessary to conform with our HOA requirements. Work was done beautifully, and really improved the look of our yard. Existing fence stain does not exactly match the stain of the rebuilt fence, but is slowly changing to look the same. Crew came back and cleaned up, with a phone call from me, after everything was complete. Angel called twice to make sure all was done well.

We were working with a HOA and Angel was very understanding about this. We set up a style and time then 4 days later had to change it due to the HOA. All of this went smooth. They arrived on time and worked clean. By that I mean they kept the yard clean as they worked and then at quitting time removed all debris and made the yard as presentable as possible considering it was a construction site. They completed the job a day later then scheduled but that was due to a Utility Company issue that was not Cisco Fencing's fault. I feel like I got more then I paid for. The fence is the best looking in the neighborhood (comparing both old and replaced). I have only one suggestion for Cisco. There were times when the time line changed like with the Utility Company and I would have appreciated a call from Angel to know how his schedule was going to change. My solution was the call him and he was always ready to welcome my call and provide information.

The project went well overall. It was scheduled 3 weeks before work was begun. We had to get homeowner association approval and city approval before construction. The company started on time and it took 5 days to complete. They were great to work with. The company wanted to make sure we were totally pleased with the work.

I just can't say enough about Angel of Cisco Fencing. He came out on time the same day I called for an estimate. His quote, for #1 grade 6' cedar was the same as another vendor had given me for 6' chain link. Not only did his crew show up on time to do the contracted work but he upgraded the job to clear grade cedar without any additional charge. His crew was very professional & quickly responded to any requests. Although I asked for a few changes, as the work progressed, they were immediately taken care of without any additional charges. Angel came out to inspect the work daily to insure there were no problems. Due to rain the job did take 2 days longer than expected but well worth the wait. As you can tell, I am more than happy with the fence installed by Cisco.

My foreclosure's 25 year old, cheap, dog-eared pine fence was beyond dilapidated -- it was rotten and falling down; held together with rope and zip ties. However with so many repairs needed on the inside of the house, the fence was the last thing I was thinking about. That is, until the HOA sent me a second warning letter. I wasn't sure I could afford to replace it, but decided to get at least get a quote anyway. First, I walked around the neighborhood to look at other fences and made note of the companies who built the ones I liked. One of my favorites was built by Cisco. Then, I joined Angie's List and Cisco was one of the top rated companies in my area. Angel was very responsive -- he came over the next day, took measurements, and then we discussed my options. Angel is a terrific businessman -- professional, friendly, knowledgeable -- and helped me to choose among the many different styles in his portfolio. He gave me an especially good price since my property is on a very visible corner lot. He told me it would be a "showpiece" that no-one in the neighborhood had seen before. He did not exaggerate. Now, my poor little foreclosure has the most beautiful fence in the neighborhood and looks a million times better. I'm confident that this fence has significantly increased the value of my home, and although it still needs lots of work, at least the house doesn't stick out in this lovely neighborhood like a sore thumb. If anything, it makes the other fences look like they could use a little sprucing up themselves! lol

Cisco's rep, Angel, came out and met me for an initial consultation and estimate. We discussed my wants, my budget parameters and their capabilities and agreed on a price and scope within 30 minutes. Angel was very fair and flexible in this process. After an initial deposit (less than 50%), we scheduled the work. Unfortunately, heavy rains delayed the start by a week. But once the crew got started it moved very fast. Day one, they tore down the old fence and installed new posts. Day two and three were spent letting the posts set and gathering raw materials. Day four the new fence was up. Day five, they built the custom gates and did touch-ups. Day six, the fence was inspected and green-tagged. Throughout, the work was very fast and professional. The new fence is straight as an arrow, level, plumb, etc. and looks fantastic!

The Cisco sales rep met me at my house on time. We discussed the work and I ran through our fence options and he gave me several quotes for different fence options. When I accepted the work he was able to start promptly and built a nice fence in about 4 days. When the main work was done, I wasn't asked for payment until I things were done to my satisfaction.

New fence was substantially taller than old fence; Took the time to get the fence line even and just as I wanted it; Took care to ask me which way I wanted my gates to open and consulted with me every step along the way. He placed the metal poles one day and let them cure in concrete the next day. He then put up the fence on the third day. I feel quite sure my fence will last a long time and be very durable because of the care he takes in installation. It looks fantastic!

We originally got two estimates for the job and both were essentially the same price. Both companies made appointments to bid and both arrived on-time or slightly before. Both bid on the same work, but it was clear from the photos from each that Cisco's work was superior. Angel from Cisco was more positive and had a can-do attitude about all aspects of the job. We chose Cisco and arranged a start date for the job. A slight false-start occurred when I thought the job would start on Saturday, but Angel had scheduled his crew to start on Monday. This was not a real issue as far as we were concerned. The crew started on Monday and had completed 98% of the work by Thursday. These guys are real craftsmen. The quality was excellent and when completed was much better than we expected. The cut-out for the tree limb was "framed" and made to look like a small window (very nice). On Saturday, the crew came to replace some boards that were blemished (we were surprised by this because the blemishes were very minor and "it's just a fence"). These guys really care about the quality of their work. They also installed the special lock we requested. On Monday, Angel came to inspect the job with us and be sure we were satisfied with the job. We were very satisfied with the entire experience and are very pleased with our new fence. Well done, Cisco Fencing.

I met with Angel Lopez (company principle) and we agreed on the work to be done, materials to be used and the price. The statement of work was very complete and easy to understand which left no chance for a misunderstanding. They began work the following week after obtaining the appropriate city permits. A crew of 3 arrived on Saturday to teardown the old fence and set the new posts. The concrete was allowed to dry Sunday and Monday. A crew of 4 arrived on Tuesday morning and began work. The fence was completed on Wed afternoon. I did a walk around with Angel on Wednesday afternoon and he made all the final adjustments that I requested. Angel kept telling me that it would be 100% to my liking before they would be complete and he kept his word. The fence turned out absolutely beautiful and will add value to our home. The fence that we had built is a pre-stained clear cedar, 6 inch board on board with steel posts and a double trim 2x8 cap. The fence has 4 six inch step-ups to go from 6 ft on the sides to 8 ft in the back. Take a look at the pictures and I think you will agree that it is amazing. High quality materials installed by knowledgeable and experienced professionals made for a winning combination and great looking fence that will last years. I fully recommend Angel and Cisco Fencing to anyone wanting a high quality fence at a reasonable price.

We had a great experience. Angel came out in person to provide an estimate and go over the quote (not all of the fencing companies we called did this). At first, his total price seemed higher than the other quotes; however, when we compared his construction techniques and quality of materials and the HOA requirements he had to comply with, there was no difference. Angel assured us that he does not use subcontractors and scheduled a date for our fence. They arrived on a Tuesday, removed the old fence and set the metal posts in concrete. They came back later in the week as planned and installed the rails and boards. The gates were hand-constructed on-site and are absolutely beautiful. The crew was great and cleaned up every day when they were finished / removed their supplies and trash. We had random questions throughout the construction process. Each time Angel was very responsive. As an example, we got confused on the angle of the gate across the driveway and called Angel to ask. He came out and showed us exactly how it would be structured (which was exactly as had been discussed) and resolved any questions we had. We can assure you that the fence is sturdy - tonight, several of our neighbors lost parts of their fence to high winds in the storm. One of them has already commented he will be calling Angel to get an estimate!
