Dr. Neiman agreed that one of my medications might be causing the sleeplessness. Apparently, the longer you take it, the more it builds up in your system and the effects (of sleeplessness) become more magnified. His bedside manner was attentive and concerned; he was easy to talk with and thorough. He said that now that my migraines are under control, I probably don't need to continue on the one that might be causing sleeplessness (an anti-depresant). He explained that you can't stop it suddenly, so he gave me a prescription to slowly get off of the medication. He scheduled a follow up to be sure I didn't have any further problems after the change in medication. I'm glad to be taking less medication and my sleeping has definitely improved. I'm so glad I found Dr. Neiman on Angie's List.

When seeing dr bartel the shots worked for the pai in my neck and lower back, but stopped , so i saw dr lim, deeper shots they worked on my neck for the headaches, but again stoppped for my lower back , bulging disc pushing against nerve, dr bartel found the problem in seconds and sent me to the 3rd dr , dr kamath the surgen. Again szw the problem, set surgery date and it went perfectly. No more pain, kell west hospital was location, have to say they were so nice, did everything i wanted and needed.

My husband has followed up with Dr. Lim, has had facit steroid injections and the pain is 98% improved. He takes pain medication on an infrequent basis now. He had a nerve conduction study and an EMG with good results. Dr. Lim continues to see my husband as we work through his long term treatment plan for a herniated disc. Dr. Lim's front office and scheduling personnel are all sweet but there has been some problems with communication and scheduling but it has all worked out. They are receptive just a little disorganised when  glitches  arise.

DR. BUTERA IS SO PERSONALLY CHARMING AND SO INCREDIBLY GOOD LOOKING THAT IT TAKES A WHILE TO FIGURE OUT HOW MUCH OF A PILL PUSHER HE IS. WHICH IS A SHAME SINCE HE IS EITHER A GENUINELY NICE GUY WHO DEEPLY CARES, OR A PSYCHOPATH WHO PLAY-ACTS WONDERFULLY.. HE GIVES YOU A 15 MINUTE PEP TALK OF; "YOU CAN DO IT,TIGER", AND THEN PRESCRIBES 3 DIFFERENT PSYCHOACTIVE DRUGS. I SUFFER FROM MS , AND I NEEDED THERAPY, NOT JUST MORE PILLS.WHENEVER I DISCUSSED DECREASING THE AMOUNT OF DRUGS I WAS TAKING HE REFUSED TO DO SO. IT TOOK ME NEARLY A YEAR TO GET OFF ALL OF THEM. NOW I TAKE ONE. IN ALL THE YEARS I WENT, WE NEVER DISCUSSED ANY OF THE TRIGGERS OF MY ANXIETY ATTACKS OR USED ANY METHODS OF TREATMENT OTHER THAN DRUGS. I WAS A ZOMBIE. HE LOVES TO HAND OUT THE "LATEST" DESIGNER DRUG THAT THE PHARMACEUTICAL GUYS BRING SAMPLES OF. GEODON IN PARTICULAR. WHICH, ONCE I WISED UP AND RESEARCHED ALL OF THEM I WAS TERRIFIED. HE IS VERY POPULAR LOCALLY, AND VERY POPULAR WITH THE WOMEN CLIENTS BECAUSE HE IS SIMPLY AS CHARMING AS ALL GET OUT.AND GREATLY RESEMBLES ANTONIO BANDERAS, ( EVEN HAS THE PONYTAIL ) IN THE END- I WOULD REALLY HAVE LIKED TO HAVE SEEN WHAT KIND OF A PSYCHIATRIST HE WOULD HAVE BEEN IF HE HAD HAD HIS OWN OFFICE AND HAD SPENT MORE TIME WORKING WITH HIS PATIENTS INSTEAD OF PUTTING A "BAND AID" OF HIGH POWERED PSYCHOACTIVE DRUGS ON THEIR PROBLEMS. ULTIMATELY, IF YOU ARE HOSPITALIZED WITH A SEVERE DISORDER, SCHIZOPHRENIA, ETC, THEN YES, HE WOULD KNOW WHAT TO GIVE YOU AND IT WOULD BE THE NEWEST AND THE MOST AGGRESSIVE TREATMENT. BUT IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR HELP COPNG WITH TRAUMA OR PAST EXPERIENCES THEN YOU NEED TO LOOK ELSEWHERE.
