There were a few bumps along the way, but Terry stepped in a took care of any issues I had. The kitchen remodeling was the most time consuming, but Terry made sure that I wasn't inconvenienced with all the mess that was made. He made sure that the workers where on time & respectful of my home. He also came by often to make sure the work was completed correctly & to my satisfaction. There was a problem with damage to my Fireplace tile, but Terry made sure it got fixed promptly.

Terry did a great job. I LOVE IT. The porch flowed onto the existing roof and looks fantastic and a great addition to my home

GREAT.................So great, he is doing an add-on on a second home I own in a few months I was a little more hands on with watching the progress and if I had a question I called Terry and got an immediate response. He always was prompt to get back with me on any concerns. If I wanted something one way, he changed it or he explained why the work was done a certain way. Construction is very fluid and there wasn't anything he didn't fix or help me understand. And yes, Terry can give out my number as a reference.

Terry gave me a very reasonable estimate. His crew was hard working, knowledgeable, and punctual. They did great work. The task appeared to be easier than was originally thought and so Terry gave me a price break at time of payment. I welcomed that.

Great! With every rain the house was leaking so Bantex Construction made it a priority to repair the windows on our schedule.

I messaged the contractor on Angie's list late one evening and received a prompt response the next morning. I called and asked to receive a quote for work at an old rental property. Had to coordinate the new tenant to meet to do the quote. Terry does not do phone texts so make sure to call. He met with the new tenant and called me to provide the quote. I gave him the go ahead and we all agreed to do the 9th. Terry's team completed the work and he met me near my work because I didn't get a chance to take a check to the address. Work was completed to the new tenants satisfaction.

We found Bantex Construction on Angie’s List after searching for several weeks. We were very impressed with the level of communication we received from Terry in the early stages of the bidding process. He did not seem too busy, as so many other contractors in our area simply didn’t answer or return calls. Moreover, he was EARLY and waiting out front for our appointment time. Terry was very profession, and submitted a bid in a timely manner. Once the job was awarded to Banta, we had delays due to weather, and Bantex Construction was accommodating and flexible. One construction commenced, I was impressed with the crew (Bob, Tim, “Timbo,” and Josh) that completed the patio. The crew was punctual, arriving around 7:00am each morning, and worked diligently throughout the day. Additionally, Bob and “Timbo” interjected ideas throughout the construction process that made the pergolas and covered patios more structurally sound, and the covered patio more aesthetically pleasing. Bottom Line: I highly recommend Bantex Construction. They were knowledgeable, punctual, courteous, and excelled in their communication with the customer. I will certainly defer to them for future projects.

Andrew and his helper arrived as scheduled and completed the work in approximately 6 hours. Very professional and thorough.

I met with Terry and he took measurements of the areas I wanted the work done. He then sent me an estimate of service. We agreed on the price and he set it up for the following week. Terry came with the flooring guys the first day and made sure they knew all that was to be done. The guys worked quickly and did more than expected the first day. The were able to keep the dust from the tile removal to the minimum and left no mess outside as well. Terry even called to ensure the job was going to my satisfaction. The total job took 3 days and was estimated to take 4-5. But the quick service did not affect the quality of the work. I am very pleased with the final outcome. I had only one complaint about the flooring butting up to my fireplace didn't seem to be as flush as I hoped and Terry set it up for them to put molding there as well even though there was not molding there originally. He is very determined to give great customer service. I plan on using Bantex for any future home renovations.

We found Bantex construction on angies list along with a few other contractors. The other contractors we found on Angie's List seemed too busy to take the job that we needed done. Terry and David with bantex construction were more than willing to help us do what we needed done. They were extremely friendly, punctual and had an attitude that no job was too small. There must have been about a dozen small repairs that we needed fixed around the recently purchased new home and after speaking with Terry that day he had the quote ready for me the very next day. I will admit we were in a bit of a time crunch as our daughter's first birthday was coming up later that month but they worked hard to ensure that the job was done on time with plenty of room left to spare. I couldn't begin to recommend these gentlemen with bantex construction enough. They were kind, courteous, efficient, and most importantly patient. I will definitely be using bantex construction again in the future when we add our new addition to the house.

We recently completed another bathroom reno using Bantex after the first job went so well – and once again, they’ve knocked my socks off! My house is old and presents many structural challenges when it comes to renovations. On top of that, restorative work can eat up a budget. But Terry and his team always had safe and corrective solutions that also fit in my budget and maintained the integrity of my home. One of the reasons I like working with Terry so much is because I don’t feel rushed or pressured during the job. He takes the time to explain the work needed and go over the options available – so I can make the most informed decisions. He’s often provided a range of solutions, varying in cost, allowing me to decide where to pinch and stretch my spending and make the most of my updates. Additionally, the crews he hires are just as thoughtful and considerate as he is, and they’ve always shown up when they said they would and finished the work in the expected timeframe. This is the second time I’ve hired Terry, and I plan to do so again for future renovations. He’s proven to be reliable, trustworthy and punctual – I highly recommend calling Bantex for your next job!

Terry Banta was the contractor on this job. Anthony Flooring was the subcontractor. We were exceptionally pleased with the professionalism, timeliness and constant consideration for the wishes of the owner. Anthony kept us aware of the ongoing tear down and construction modifications as they arose. (The den floors had to be leveled before the wood could go on.) Terry came out every few days to check on the work, and see how the timeline for completion was going. The crew cleaned up every day, and the outcome was beautiful. They even finished a few days ahead of schedule.

Initially the job was not going well. I contacted Terry Banta by telephone while the workers were still here. He had the work stopped and he came to review the problems with me immediately. Terry's response time was excellent. He was concerned about how the work was being accomplished and listened carefully to my concerns and explained well how we could proceed. We scheduled an appointment for Terry, the fence sub-contractor and the workers to return in a very timely manner. During this visit we all discussed the job concerns and expectations and a plan was made for how the solution would executed. The workers remained on site and immediately began reworking the repairs and replacement of the gates. By the end of the day all the shrewder upon work was accomplished. The fence, posts, hardware and gates were all appropriately positions for complete coverage and functionality. I am pleased with the job. Terry and his right hand man David are an excellent team. And I would like to specifically mention the two fence workers Jason and TJ as professional workers who were generally concerned with the job being done correctly and to my satisfaction. This is my second time to use Bantex Construction Inc. if the need arises I will call Terry again.

Hired Bantex Construction on four separate occasions, three times on personal property and once on a rental property. The team is always extremely professional, prompt and trustworthy. Recent experience upgrading kitchen and bath has gone very smoothly and on budget. Excellent work by paint crew all cabinets look as if the where replaced with new. Counter tops and sink replacements look fantastic. As always Terry and his teams communication on progress was above reproach. Will continue to use Bantex on future projects their honesty and workmanship has proven to me they are a one stop shop for all your remolded needs. Thanks to Terry and Dave for making this remodel go as smoothly as possible. The place looks great.

This was the most frustrating experience I have ever had. We would schedule dates and times for them to work and they might show up or just not show up. Terry Banta would never give me timelines nor an estimate quote until I asked for the fifth time and became insistent. When the workers would show up, they would only work 3-4 hours then pack it up and leave. They gutted and remodeled the upstairs bathroom. Since they finished the work which took two months), I have had to have the plumbers back out for leaks and the showers walls have cracked. Today they said that it was due to my house settling and not their work. Frankly, it is shoddy work. The painters that they used were totally unprofessional. They did not mask off the upstairs and sprayed all of the upstairs walls. Overspray was everywhere downstairs. White everywhere. Including a white painted handprint on my refrigerator door, which means they went through my refrigerator.. I had to sleep on a paint covered bed that night. The next day, Terry sent out a cleaning crew to get all of the paint off of everything downstairs. It took a cleaning crew 4 hours to clean up the mess. The painter didn't wipe off dust on tops of the shelves and just painted over it. They had to come out three-four times to fix problems that they had done or paint things they had not done. There is still paint on my skylight that they did not clean off. This construction company is total chaos. No one knows what is going on and you can't get a straight answer on anything. Scheduling problems have caused me time off of work waiting for crews to show up that never come. I am going to have to hire an attorney to get these problems fixed. Terry will say he will make you happy, then tell you why you can't be happy. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. I will never recommend them nor use them again.

All the workers that came to our home were timely, professional appearing, and courteous. Terry Banta was extremely helpful and attentive to our inquiries and all of our concerns were addressed.

I have found Mr. Terry Banta to be reliable and true to his word. Mr. Banta is punctual for his appointments. This contractor wants the customer to understand the scope of the work he is asked to preform. As much as possible, Mr. Banta anticipates unseen problems that might affect the price of the job. This was a long process due to the original cost estimate by the insurance company being significantly lower than the bids For the work. . Mr. Banta, who gave the lowest bid of the three I received, stuck with me and gave advice on what to ask the claim provider. He was extremely helpful with this process. After the adjuster returned and found the issue in the original estimate, things moved quickly. Mr Banta knew I had out-of-town company arriving for an extended holiday stay, and he scheduled my work as soon as a crew was available. Each step of the way, I was informed of what would happen next, who would be coming, and time of arrival. Everyone arrived on time ( actually early, but the workmen politely waited in their trucks until either the agreed upon time or my signaling to come in early). Each day the workers cleaned the area before leaving. I was especially impressed with the lead flooring man who showed me what he was doing and why -- insisting on doing things the right way, not the fastest way. Everything except the carpet pad, which was handled immediately after my out-of-town guests left in January, was completed before the first of my company arrived.The carpet in the closet was down without the padding, so it was no problem for me or my guests. This was my second time to use Bantex, and I have been pleased both times with the company's pricing and its work.

My wife and I bought a 100 year old home in Fort Worth in August 2014 that we knew needed a new garage. The current garage (if you want to call it that) was an old carriage house with a second story apartment; but there was no electricity, heat or water in the apartment. The foundation was caved in, the support structure was rotted, a gas line ran through the structure and knob and tube wiring was everywhere in the garage. Our plan was to tear down the old carriage house and replace it with a new 2-1/2 car garage. We originally selected Bantex Construction for the job but were lured into using another contractor by promises of a quick construction turnaround. We had been transferred to Saudi Arabia and wanted the garage done quickly so we could take advantage of the summer selling season. The replacement contractor turned out to be a liar and a crook and his attitude to my wife and I was arrogant and condenscending. He did shoddy work, missed multiple deadlines, never pullled the proper permits and created life threatening safety issues. His subcontractors were a joke; never showed up to do the work and always lacked the right equipment for the job. We suffered through the demolition and gas line rerouting but fired the contractor after 3 months when he asked for his thrid price increase through change orders without even pouring the foundation. Terry was a blessing. He quickly picked up the project after we fired our first contractor. He immediately secured the proper permits and lined-up his sub-contractors. All of his subs were professional and hard working. They were thorough, polite, well equipped and showed up to work on time. Inspectors were called in at the appropriate times and the work generally proceeded as planned. Terry spend time explaining the various project stages to my wife while I was working in Saudi Arabia and there was total transparency and traceability to the job. We were delayed by weather by about a month but the entire project was completed in less than 3 months and under budget. My wife and I are very pleased with the outcome and highly recommend Terry and Bantex Construction for this type of work. Our neighbors are truely impressed with the workmanship and now my garage is the envy of the neighborhood.

Terry and his crew did a great job remodeling a dated back room for us. He was quick to respond to our needs and took care of any questions/concerns that we had. Terry's Forman David did a great job and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the job. Best of all the final cost came in 15% under budget. Would definitely recommend Bantex to friends and family.

I highly recommend Bantex Construction! We just finished up a small bathroom project in my 90+ yr old house and I am extremely pleased with the work and the service! After much research and several disappointing quotes from other companies, Terry came out to discuss my bathroom project. He took the time to answer all of my questions and provided extra consultation and suggestions for the work I needed done so that I could make the most informed decision. After choosing Bantex Construction to complete the work, Terry continued to administer impressive service. He and his team of professionals were always punctual (showed up everyday at the stated time), delivered terrific follow-up (called to provide frequent updates and check the status) and were very responsible and courteous (I'm a new mom with a 2 month old and I was very comfortable with Terry & crew coming and going). Terry was respectful of my budget and gave me options that accomplished the work I needed. Thanks to his suggestions, and with the money I saved, I'll be using Bantex Construction in the coming months for Phase 2!

. Avila Painting did an excellent job. They powerwashed the house, caulked all areas prior to painting. They were veryy professional. I would highly recomend them.

Terry and his people did an excellent job on the garage from the first estimate to last cleanup. The house is in an older neighborhood and the original garage was built in the late '40s. The foundation was poured incorrectly, so over the years the structure had deteriorated. Terry gave me an estimate that was in line with others in the area, but he had experience in the neighborhood, so I chose his company. There were issues with zoning due to new property line regulations and Terry worked these out with the city, a job most contractors would rather the homeowner handle. Once the plan was approved, Terry quickly had the garage down and the new foundation in place. This was how the whole job was worked. There was never downtime in their work. Something happened everyday. A change from the normal contracting firm. After the foundation set, Terry had the garage framed. From there it took him less than 3 weeks to complete everything. The original design required a high pitch to the roof so that the attic area in the garage could be used for storage and Terry had no problem working that into his design. In the end, the garage is exactly what I wanted, the time to complete was shorter than I expected, and the final cost, even with a few adds and deletes, came out on the dollar to his original quote. One of the biggest surprises was that Terry's guys clean the site daily, so I found no leftover construction materials on my property. This is one of those things that, unless you do a lot of remodeling, you won't appreciate until you have to put up with a sloppy contractor. No nails in the driveway, no leftover dry wall or wood left beside the structure, no oiled dripped on my driveway, and the land around the structure was cleaned and regraded. Terry Banta and his construction company did an excellent job on my garage and I plan to use them again in 2016 for a bathroom remodel. I would recommend them to anyone looking to do construction on their home.
