"Customer set Monday for date of move. We are meticulate about when our appointments are made. We always call our customers to let them know we are on the way so they can prepare for our arrival. Upon calling customer she became extremely irrate and said she was not ready and job was scheduled for Wednesday. I told her I did not have her down for Wednesday and that we were already scheduled for another job that day and the only thing I could do was try to work her in on Wednesday IF Wednesday's job turned out small enough, otherwise it would have to be Friday. She agreed and even aknowledged that she probably had gotten her date and day mixed up. Wednesday at 11:00 am I called her as agreed once I was able to assess the other job. I explained to her that the job was too big for me to be able to get to Miles that day and do her job. The customer became ballistic and screamed obscenities upon which point I recommended she needed to make other arrangements. Being on schedule and knowing appointments is easily the most important aspect of the Moving business, We have been in business in San Angelo for 21 years because we know how important a customer's moving date is. It is unfortunate that this customer had her dates crossed. In this case, the customer was wrong. We tried to accomodate the mistake and were not allowed to. I could not simply abandon my other scheduled appointments because of the date mistake."
"This customer was not overcharged for her move. We have a minimum of a one hour charge which is currently $125.00. The job took 1.8 hours so the bill was $225.00. The customer's husband was the person present during the job and happily paid and complimented our service. The customer later complained claiming she was told it would be $125.00 period. A contract was given with the estimated time the job would take up front. We came in 30 minutes less than the estimate so I don't understand the complaint."
