Both the hardwood crew and the carpet crew did excellent jobs. Very professional. Zero damage to the house. Floor looks great. We worked with Adam at the N. Eldridge store. Would definitely use him again.

We had them do our entire house when they first opened years ago. Service was great, fair prices. But recently when I needed a new backsplash, they wanted to charge way too much and refused to offer me anything but one type of material. I asked if there were other choices (obviously there are) and the guy showed me a board of old fashioned square slick bathroom tile and said that was the only other choice. I was appalled that any customer would be treated that way, especially one who had spent over $15,000 with them in the past.
Description of Work: Very rude, very unprofessional . This after I'd bought flooring for my entire house and granite in the kitchen and I needed a small back splash job..

We waited a month after an initial order for their "BEST Staining CREW" however the results of that work product were quite different. We are certain they did not take the "standard of care" required. The crew lacked a basic understanding of QA- Quality Assurance and QC-Quality Control. They seemed in a hurry to flip at two day job in just one. We sensed a poor attitude as they kept a loud Spanish radio station going over my preferences for watching ESPN college football game day and later some games. They did not keep the front door closed as repeatedly requested in efforts to keep out hot moist air and the pets. Their work ethic and mindset was more that of a crew working on a job site of a house under construction, not occupied. They rushed to put a sealer over the stain in all areas. After the sealer dried we discovered "grit" in the top coat. We also later discovered damages from power sanding which left deep gouges and other surface marks along the vertical wall board and the painted stair faces hidden by blue tape. Process wise apparently they wiped the stained finish with cloth rags and alcohol. They did not use a "tack cloth" for the final wipe that would have ensured a grit and dust free surface before applying the sealer coat. The Corporate Owner did send another crew to repair the damages. The stair surfaces were finally lightly re-sanded, tack cloth wiped and treated properly with the sealer. However this crew also missed removing all blue tape which revealed more power sander damages mentioned. The Corporate Owner we think has good intentions but their crews lack proper training and common customer courtesies. The Owner should have a QA/QC inspection process as a follow-on with subject matter experts. As a result of damages we spent an additional $400 hiring an "Angie's List A Player Painter" who fixed everything properly.
Description of Work: Stair Staining Project Only. A Wood Flooring project is not the scope of this report.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!! We contracted with them on May 31st and the job is not finished yet (September 16, 2014) The installers are not professionals - the first guy messed up on the tile so badly that it took several months and 4 teams to fix it. Tile cuts in the living room were uneven, transition pieces broken. He broke some tiles in pieces and tried to cement them together to make it look good! The first thing this guy asked me when he got in the house was if I had any Coke or beer. While they were installing the laminate in the master bedroom, they broke two tiles in the bathroom as they pulled up the transition pieces there. To date that piece has not been repaired, nor have the two other transition pieces been installed in the other two rooms. The installers were never on time, missed entire days with excuses like sunstroke, Ramadan, or warehouse or car problems. The never called to say they were going to be late or no-shows. When they did come back days later, they ran out of materials, had to wait weeks in between shipments leaving our house a disaster with torn up tiles, bare cement in half of our living room and tiles scattered all over the area. When the shipment did come in, it was only three tiles, so we had to wait another two weeks. The storefront folks are a joke. They argue among themselves and tell each other off in front of the customers. The guy who came out to measure our place did it twice and still did not get the square footage right. By the end of the contract he had us in for $410.00 in extra charges that were never put into the contract, nor were they justified. All we got for an answer was that was ?the cost of things.? They rarely answer their phone and do not return calls or texts. If you do get ahold of them they say things like ?give me and hour to straighten this out? and it would actually be days before we ever heard anything back. By the time we got Joseph, the ?manager? involved to correct the problems it was three months into the project. It took four different sets of installers in and out of the house to correct this problem and even though the job is not complete because of the transition pieces, we are glad to have them out of our house. It has been two weeks since we heard from Joseph about someone coming to do the transitions and we don?t expect to hear from him however they have charged us in full. These guys just don?t care about the quality of their work or their customers. We are sorry we went with this company. I would not use this company for anything, and I would advise anyone who walks in their door to turn around. If you value your home and your hard-earned money, do not waste it on this company.

I've used them a lot. I've had about 30,000 square feet done with them. They are individually owned and independent. I've used them extensively.

I stopped by the store to look at floors and wanted to take some samples home. The guy said I couldn't take samples, but he would come to my house with them so we could look at them there. We scheduled an appointment for a few days later on a Sunday, but he never showed up. Interestingly, the weather was beautiful that day, so I assumed he didn't feel like working. I subsequently found flooring from another provider.
Description of Work: My intent was to replace all flooring in my house, but I didn't end up using EZ FLoors after all.

Tile crew showed up on time on the 21st and immediately went to work ripping out the sheet vinyl flooring, the crew worked until nearly 9 pm on the first day and until 7 pm on the second day. On Friday they came in the morning and finished the grouting, etc. On Saturday the 24th the flooring crew, two men came in at around 1015 and worked until very late afternoon. First they ripped out the old carpeting and under layment, then vacuumed all rooms. Their next step was to check the level of the floors, two rooms needed to be cemented to reach a level for placing flooring. Once they started laying the laminate things went quickly, by 5 pm they were done. They vacuumed and cleaned up everything. We signed the final papers and they were on their way home. We're very happy with the tile and the laminate and to be rid of the allergy producing carpet and the ugly gray vinyl. Both crews moved the heavy furniture in and out and didn't scrape, scratch, or break anything. Both crews were very professional and took very few breaks. We purchased our flooring from Steve at the Spring, TX store. Steve took very good measurements of our home, was very helpful in choosing the colors, etc. of the flooring, and arranged all the set up for installation. He was very clear about what would be done and when and it all came true. We would recommend EZ Floors to anyone.
Description of Work: Installed ceramic tile in all wet areas plus the master closet and also installed laminate flooring in three bedrooms.
