The crew were very professional and did a wonderful job. Shrubs and beds looks very pretty now. I asked them to not mow the yard and focus on shrubs and beds. My lawn mowing guys are coming in couple of days. I would recommend this company you will not be disappointed.

It didn't. After purchasing through Angie's deal, which ask for zip code to verify coverage area for service which I did and it did. Then get email from service provider that they don't cover my area. This is not necessary a knock on provider but maybe Angie's for not having better control on verification of service area of coverage for deal offered. Now I have to spend the time and effort running down who to contact to get a refund and then hoping it happens. Just a pain!

Everything went smoothly and I couldn't be more pleased with how it all turned out. Erik is very responsive, and everything looks great. I would definitely use them again.

I do not blame them for any of this, as this is not the fault of any one individual but rather an accident. But even in accidents, honest and moral individuals will accept responsibility and liability for damages that they inflict. Not Erik D. Erik has been defiant since day one. I was in 10-15 mph traffic (slightly backed up traffic) and his crew members were trimming on the edge of the road (less than 10 feet from my car as traffic slowly passed). And then, POW! Three pieces of debris hit my windshield (based on impact marks on glass) and sent a crack across it. I immediately found the next available turn and went back to the scene of the crime to gather information from the crew members. Erik was not present. I called Erik with an attempt to get his commercial insurance information. I was refused this information. He tried all sorts of ways to deny the responsibility. He explained to me that "no one saw the debris fly out of the trimmer and hit your car." I would be amazed at any human who could actually SEE a small projectile ejecting itself out of a commercial trimmer. He also tried to explain to me that a trimmer can't cause damage more than a few feet away. Keep in mind, trimmer companies post warnings in their documentations that state "Do not operate a weed eater in the immediate vicinity of others; debris from a weed eater can fly over 30 feet." I was forced to replace my windshield on my own. Keep in mind, i have a BMW and the windshield OEM cost without labor was just over $1200 (from my receipt). I was finally able to get his commercial insurance information and policy information ONLY AFTER i left a review of my experience on Google for his company. Only at this point did he contact my insurance company with his insurance and policy information. He had previously ignored all calls from myself and them. I am now only trying to seek from Erik D. the $150 cost that i am out of pocket for this damage his crew caused (accidentally) to my property in order to get it to the 'before accident condition'. I am sure after this review, and others to come, he will be reaching out and/or respond to the review. I'd love to hear more of the excuses he comes up with.

The were extremely professional, on time with the start and completion, excellent clean up. I'm very happy and would recommend this company to anyone that needs good professional landscaping.

salesman was nice enough just went with another contractor

After purchasing a deal for $550 for 20 lawn services, the provider claimed that he would not mow corner lots even though the lot is smaller than the 9000 ft.² covered by the deal. UPDATE: The provider contacted me and we were able to work things out. He honored his offer due to some confusion. The first service is supposed to be performed on Thursday or Friday.

It is going great. They are consistent. They do a good job and it meets the expectations. So far they provide me an invoice that shows what services they have done and the charge so that I can track it and I appreciate that as well. I give them an 'A' for everything they have done so far, they are an 'A'. We want to use them for additional landscaping when it comes to that.

He was on time and very professional. He also provided good guidance on options that could be done.

Since the project to add a patio, pergola, and planting areas was completed in November, I?m just now starting to enjoy it to its full potential. Erik was great and patiently answered all my questions ? and there were many. Everyone who worked on this project did a very good and professional job, from the initial digging of the patio through the irrigation, electrical and completion of the pergola. They cleaned up the worksite every day before they left, which is certainly an important part of a project from a homeowner?s perspective. The end result is the vision I originally saw in my head is now a reality in my back yard. I?m looking forward to spring and summer gardening and relaxing time on my patio. The seeds of a future project are now germinating in my head and I would not hesitate to call Erik again. Job well done to all.

he claimed my corner-lot did not fit the deal description. It did meet the square footage specified in the deal description but he will not the honor the deal.

Erik was knowledgeable, responsive and professional throughout the process of rebuilding and redesigning my patio and backyard. He did a thorough assessment of the needs, came back quickly with price a quote that I think was reasonable, and stuck to the plan throughout the project. It turned out to be everything we expected and more. We are thrilled with the outcome and would recommend Erik and his company, Impact Landscapes, to anyone needing work on their backyard. Get them going on your project; you'll be glad you did.

Erik was great to work with! He took my poorly described wants and needs and turned them into a great looking landscape. The design and bid process: Erik was really fast with responding and getting a bid out. He listened to what I wanted, recommended a design, and was OK with me asking tons of questions & making changes. I was very worried about planting trees, shrubs, etc in the middle of summer. They survived! We've had lots of compliments on the design and the end result. The work: The work was done well. The workers were punctual, courteous, cleaned up after themselves, and fixed any problems I pointed out immediately. Erik was on site most days for a good length of time and kept good communication with questions. The results: Everything was done well. We're very happy with the work.

The plants immediately showed a lot of stress. They didn't die completely but looked pretty bad. It was under warrantee for six months. He wanted them to recover on their own. He was reluctant to rectify the situation. It was kind of difficult. He didn't consult with me when he came. He left and then sent me a text message saying the work was done. The grass looks awesome and design is great. Would use them again but I would definitely want to have a discussion before any other work was started.

First let me say that the final product looks good. I get compliments on it. The owner, Eric Davenport, is a nice honest guy. Now let me say that the primary reason it looks good is because I was able to monitor all the work and intervene on a regular basis because the Impact crew repeatedly attempted to cut corners. Maybe Impact Landscapes does fantastic work on their primary business which does not include fence and deck. Fence and deck work is not mentioned on their web site. I only obtained a quote from Impact because my neighbor was doing his fence and wanted to go with Impact and I thought it best if one contractor did both our fences, and my deck. But the quality of the work of Eric's crew was poor. For example: using deck planks with significant fractures; the first attempts on the two gates were absolutely horrible; inconsistent vertical elements in the fence; one section of the fence is visibly not parallel to the fence posts; fence caps were not installed on the fence posts; installing two 4' horizontal fence pieces instead of one 8'; concrete plugs that hold the fence posts were finished off above ground; inability to cut a perfect circle in the deck for the tree; where the deck ends in the yard it is S curves and the curves needed a lot of work with a belt sander to get them to look nice and smooth. I didn't trust Impact to do the circle and the belt sanding so I did that work myself. About 7 months after completion I found that because Impact had left so little clearance between the bottom of one of the gates and the ground that I could no longer open the gate. I had to remove it and increase the clearance. But the worst for last - Impact hired Superior Wood Care to apply the stain. They did not check the fence's top plate for debris and dirt so there are spots with no stain, but the worst is that the stain on the deck NEVER cured. The stain went down in early December. I stayed off the deck until March when I went out and gently wiped my finger across the deck and the tip of my finger came back completely blackened with stain. To this day, 9 months later, after rains and 3 or 4 jet spray water washings, you cannot wear house shoes out on the deck and back into the house because you bring some of the stain back with you. You have to vigorously wipe your shoes on the door mat. If you walk barefoot on the deck the soles of your feet slowly darken. I blame Superior Wood Care for this incredible screw up. The gallon of the Huemiller wood stain and sealant states "for use on...vertical, rough wood surfaces." "For decks, see our specific deck products." Long story short - don't use Impact Landscapes for fence or deck work because they are going to cut corners every way they can. Sure, they will fix what you bring to their attention, assuming you don't ask for anything major, but who wants a contractor like that? That you have to watch all day long. That you have to be willing to walk out among the crew and say STOP! That hires sub-contractors who don't read (or care?) what the instructions specify on the products they use.
