After having to make a sudden move in a two week period of time we had a hard time finding a company that could move us on the day we had to move which was the day after Thanksgiving. This company was hired by my mother-in-law and was recommended by a friend of hers so she felt they would do a good job. They showed up early or shall I say part of their crew did it was about an hour later before the rest of the crew showed up. They showed up in a 20ft Uhaul truck not a truck owned by their own company. I had already informed them we had moved here in a 26ft Uhaul and it had been totally packed so I knew 20ft would not do the job. So his estimate changed from $250 to adding a $50 charge for a second trip. Well they failed to pack the first load completely full which did not go over well with me. If you are going to charge a client for a truck load fill it up completely then if you need to make a second trip you will not have so much to load on it because they then started talking about a 3rd trip and I said absolutely no way find a way to get it on that second load that there should be no need for a third trip at all. After the first load over to the new apartment the employees that were late were late again showing up again by about another hour leaving one guy to start unloading the truck. We also told them to take the boxes into the spare bedroom and stack them carefully from floor to ceiling so they would all fit in there with no problem because we new they would all fit in there but all they did was roll dolly load after dolly load and sit them in there willy nilly and left gaps in between so they quickly filled up the room supposedly and started having to stack them all over the rest of the apartment so then when it came to the furniture they started complaining there would be no way to get our furniture in and started to tell us they would not put it into the place. My husband was livid as I was over cleaning the old apartment while most of this was going on and by the time I got back when I walked into the apartment you literally could not walk more then five feet from the front door then it was totally blocked. They just absolutely piled furniture everywhere and nowhere near in place and did not put my table top back on or put the mirror on my dresser. They said they would take the bed apart and put it back together but funny thing is they did not have tools and we had to supply them with the tools to do it with??? How can they claim they will do such things if they are not equiped to. What if we had been just some little old woman with the tools for them to do those things they said they would do?? Please beware and stay away from this company as I being disabled have made myself hurt so badly trying to restack all the boxes in that room and putting furniture in its actual space. My mother-in-law helped us get the table top on but we need another set of hands to get the mirror on the dresser. Definitely in this case beware of the low price quoting you definitely should be getting a clue from that...
