Trim to Perfection

The work was done in a competent and timely manner. The company owner was very pleasant.

Vince is an expert at all kinds of construction. The door install that I wanted was rather unique. Vince was able to make modifications and recommendations that gave me the look and features I wanted. I had purchased brass hardware, but he told me I wouldn't be happy because it didn't match the existing hardware. He was right. I was so happy with the quality of work that I hired him to do another job. Again, the project met with some unexpected previous construction issues. Just like "Holmes on Homes" Vince solved the problems and the project turned out beautifully."Trim to Perfection" fits his work ethic and product.

They took down a rotten existing patio and replaced it with a much stronger and better quality one. Painted the house and reroofed also. I also had them do another house for me.

great to work with

So far the door does not work. I left town the next day and got back late last night. I will call Mr. Schmidt and talk this over with him., He wanted to come back and install a third hinge. The orginal door has two spring hinges and it work wonderful. He installed two new hinges and the door does not close on its own. He ask and I paid him $110. My wife says I should not have paid him anything. I will want to know what the next call is going to cost me before I have him back. Called Mr. Schmidt. He didnot call back. Called another repair man from another service, his agreement was he would fix the door for $50. Yeh.

After a week or so I question the quality of the boards used on my fence. Some boards seem to be warping. I plan on painting them when it gets cooler. We will see how things turn out then. I would suggest that the contracter keep the customer a little more informed during the building of the fence and of his intensions from day to day. Thier was a lot of guessing on starting and finishing of the project.

Called very quickly after submitting the project. Showed up on time. Explained what he was going to do and what additional I could do. I was very happy with the results.

Vincent is an excellent installer. He did a beautiful job. But, he did not complete the job. I paid him in full before the last cabinet was installed, just because he gave me such a good price. It was my fault that the last cabinet came in late. I was going to pay him to complete the job, (which I would of been generous for his trouble); but he has no interest in this job. So, the lesson is, don't pay in total, if the work's not done. Now I have to find someone else to finish.

There was a bit of miscommunication due to tenant getting involved with repair. Vincent did a great job sorting the issues out and made everyone happy at the end.
