I called Brandon and they never called me back. They're down the street from me. We happened to go in there. I gave them my name and my number for them to come and give me a quote. The lady came and took my information on what I wanted to do and I never got a quote back. I called back twice. They were like, "Oh, we're so sorry," and they never called me back. They would never respond back. I'm guessing that my job was too small for them. I called them because they had good reviews on Angie's List. She said it would be in the $600 range. They didn't give me a written quote.

Made an appointment with Hilda to see my yard. I asked her specifically whether they do landscape design for my acre size yard. She said yes. I tried to tell her what I was looking for, but she wouldn't let me get a word in. She just said that she needed to see the yard before we move forward. I agreed and made an appointment for her to come between 10:30 and 11:30 the following day.

The next day came, the appointment time went by. She did not show up. When I called her to ask whether she was coming and she placed me on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up and called back. I told her I was on hold for a long time. She said she was speaking to a very important customer. What am i, Lunchmeat. She said she was on a personal call. Even better.

I asked her if she was coming any she said that they do not do landscape design unless you approve their estimate. I said that she would need to see the space and get my ideas of what needed to be done before she gives an estimate and asked again whether she was coming. She repeated herself about the estimate. I said, "are you coming?" She said no and that I needed to reschedule. Is she kidding? She's the one that didn't show for the appointment and she didn't even apologise for standing me up.

I was looking forward to working with this company because my neighbour suggested I call them, but if this is the type of service they give someone trying to use their service, I know it will only go downhill from there. No thanks. I'd rather spend money with a company I feel comfortable has my interests in their radar.

They were a little pricey but were very good. My front yard looked and continues to look great! Hilda was very receptive and have replaced dead plants at no additional costs.

Excellent! I could not be more pleased. Hilda Ortega and her crew installed a fairly large landscape bed, with lovely plants and a moss rock retaining wall. I am so impressed that they took care of all the little details such as tying into the existing sprinkler and making sure that the sprinkler zone covered the new bed, and making sure that my sewer clean-out hub was still accessible. Brandon's Landscaping was not the least expensive quote that I received but I chose them because I had seen their work and knew that they did a quality job. Hilda Ortega, who is the designer, is gifted and clearly loves what she does. She chose plants that would not only work well in the new bed, but that would also provide food and habitat for butterflies and hummingbirds. She came out multiple times to supervise the work during the two days that her crew was here. She also asked for my input during critical phases of the implementation, such as bed shape and size and plant locations. Her crew was professional, courteous and did an excellent job in cleaning up the area after the job was one.
Hilda came out to give me a free estimate on the cost of the job. She asked for my input and then suggested what she would do. It was very easy to schedule the job, once I agreed to the estimate. She did not ask for a down payment. I only paid after the job was completed. Communication was very easy from start to finish of the project, either through site visits, phone calls or emails. Hilda was always very accessible and responded promptly.
The other landscapers that quoted on the job would have done an acceptable job, but I knew if I went with Hilda that I would have a bed that would not just screen the utilities but would provide delight for me and my neighbors for years to come. I would definitely recommend Brandon's Landscaping and plan to use them in the future for additional work.

Hilda is respectful. They are a small business. We have very small areas to maintain for a Woodlands home and so the price initially seemed reasonable. However, the quality and detail slipped over the period we have used them and the price has been very high for any extra work from them. Thus the value has diminished. The work team is always on time. English communication is sometimes difficult with the work team.

They are selling bulk materials to the public at one yard prices and only providing 1/2 yard of material. They are selling the products by the bucket load and claiming the bucket is one yard capacity when the manufacturer's specifications explicitly state it is .55 yard capacity. Even after bringing it to their attention they were unwilling to make it right and only gave me a 1/2 yard credit on a total of 4 yards purchased.
