Able Handymen

Keith Easinsky with Able Handymen did an outstanding job installing my curved curtain rod in my children's bathroom. He competitively priced the job beyond others. He was very professional & courteous. Would highly recommend him & would hire his services for more projects in the future.

We requested a quote for the removal of mold and mildew on the side of a two-story home. Keith promptly provided us with a quote including a detailed description as well as options for his work. Keith not only removed the mold and mildew on the left side of the home via pressure washer, but he went beyond and removed the mildew on the backside of the home as well on portions of the gutters. He was able to provide us with pictures of the before/after work performed. We are very satisfied with his work.

Not very knowledgable on repairs.

Estimate was more reasonable for the work required than the other bids I received. I was told it would only take a couple of days. I was satisfied with the progress made on the first day, but then the delays started happening. I understand that things happen, and that delays occur, but it took 2 weeks for the repair to be completed, and not everything included in the estimate was done. I was more than patient with the delays, and in the end decided to just cut my losses and finish it myself. They came unprepared, and had to borrow my tools and supplies. I ended up getting $25 knocked off due to that. In the end, the major project I needed a professional to do got done: the drywall repair. In the end it looks like it was done well, however the delays and time it took to complete were a bit unreasonable. Work included in estimate: -Paint 1 wall. -Install weather stripping. -Repair drywall (2 sheets), finish, paint. -Spray bleach for water damage. -Repair 3 holes in drywall, texture, touch up paint. -Repair baseboard, paint. -Touch up door molding. In the end: -Wall painted to my satisfaction. -Weather stripping installed to my satisfaction, however required adjustment by me afterward. -Drywall repaired to my satisfaction, including finish and paint. -I'm unclear, but I'm not convinced that they ever sprayed. -Holes patched with spackle - no texture, no paint. I finished it myself. -Baseboard partially repaired, no paint. I finished it myself. -Door moulding not touched. I did it myself. The guys were nice enough, and what they did finish was done ok, but it definitely didn't leave me with the desire to use them for future work. If they had said up front that it would take a week or two, that would be one thing. But to be told 3 days and it actually take two weeks - and still be unfinished - seemed excessive to me.

The good news is that Keith shows up promptly and gets right to work. The bad news is that he has poor attention to detail, fails to follow instructions, charges twice as much as he should, does not provide a professionally detailed accounting of charges, lacks any real professional skill and makes excuses for not completing crucial elements of the job assignment. Now that I have paid him and gotten him out of the way I can proceed to hire someone else to finish the job, i.e., do the rest of the things he would not do, could not do, forgot to do and to re-do the things he did half-assed. Keith is a nice man, but in all honesty he's just way too expensive for what he does.

He came well-prepared and started working after some discussion with me. He was honest about what he can or can't do.

Cleaned up. No trash left. I would call him back if need be. Very knowledgeable.

Called Keith yesterday, he was in my area, called to see if he could drop by today. Discussed the job and he said he could do it in about 1 hour. Sure enough, he retrieved his tools and he was out the door within the hour. I was surprised how quickly he completed the job. He explained everything he was going to remove. He also informed me if he felt there could be problems with my ideas. Polite, patient, and professional.

I have a construction situation at my house, wherein a ceiling is being installed, and a tv cable needed to go into the attic, and be routed through some tight and tricky terrain, from the back of our large house, to the front. The electrician who we thought would do it yesterday afternoon told us he does not go into attics with tv cables. I then tried the tv people, but they could not come for a week, and the ceiling is getting finished today. So this morning I was very worried that I was going to be in an impossible bind. I am so glad I called Keith! He understood my problem, and the urgency, and got to my house in about an hour. He climbed into the attic at point A and pushed the cable through the tight spot on that side, and then climbed back up at point B, crawled through a tangled mess of insulation and ductwork to reach the cable and dragged it back through to where it needed to be. When finished, he completely cleaned up all the stray bits of insulation. He accomplished everything very quickly, and for a reasonable price, especially considering the emergency short notice. We are so grateful to him for coming to our rescue!

the house and driveway look fantastic, never thought it could look so nice! He also has repaired the outdoor lighting and took care to clean the lighting fixtures as well, not just replace the bulbs.

Returned initial call promptly. Came next day to give quote. Arrived early on day of service and completed same day. Excellent and detailed workmanship and proper cleanup. Very pleased and will keep Mr. Easinsky on speed dial for future projects.

Keith did a great job installing 41 knobs and handles on our kitchen drawers and cabinets. He showed up on time and worked carefully and consistently to get the job done well. They look great! I would highly recommend Keith.

Keith responded very promptly with a quote, came out at exactly the time he said he would, completed it on time, did a very neat job, cleaned up thoroughly, and was very courteous and professional all the way through. Would go back to him again for future jobs

Keith did a fantastic job. He was prompt, organized and took meticulous care around my new furnishings and hardwood flooring. Extremely polite and friendly. He arrived on time and completed our work ahead of schedule. If I could give him an A++++, I would do so. His charge was very reasonable and I will contact him again with future projects. I cannot say enough about his excellent service. Keith was the epitome of customer service and great work. We were very appreciative of his diligence in getting things just right. Keith was punctual, he worked hard and the work was done well. Reasonable price.

He is really good. Everything that he has done for me has been reasonable. He has done them very efficiently and very quickly. He is very particular about how he does his work. He wants to make sure that it is done right and it is done the way that he wants to have it done. He tries to keep the price down.
