Basically, I had to change tickets and I was charged $190 from the airlines and then Travelocity charged me another $40 per ticket.

Everything is automated. It is easy, fast, and the price is good. I shopped around and chose Travelocity. Everything was good and they sent a followup email to make sure everything went well. I have used them before.

They were helpful. Their prices were the same as any other place you could go to. I didn't have any contact with people.

I go here all of the time. They always have the best prices. We didn't get a web check-in at the airport like we were supposed to. I would use them again.

It is really easy to use. You have a wide choice of things to choose from. It is really efficient.

Some people like them. I find the way they're set up to be a little bit confusing. I have used Travelocity for years, and I've always gone as good of a rate there as I've gotten anywhere, so I guess I'll stick with them. They just have the taxes; I don't think they add any fees. Their pricing is great. They provide all of the information you need. They are easy to use. They are easy to get in touch with if you have questions or issues. I don't have any problems with them.

I know I never went online to purchase anything. I suspect that I had to check a little box with some sort of fine print and I checked it by accident. It was definately not there in bold print. I was charged two different amounts on two different occasions. I was being charged monthly fees of $19.95 and $23.95. The first charge was on 8/31/2011 was $23.95. The second was on 9/21/2011 and was $19.95. I was refunded but I am extremely disappointed in the charges that accrued from me looking through the Travelocity website. When I did call Travelocity to lodge a complaint they would not even talk to me about it.

On 3/25/2010, I emailed the following: "Thank you for your prompt response. We will consider taking this approach, and I know that my ob/gyn would be happy to produce the documentation. However, if that is the approach that I am forced to take, I will no longer utilize Travelocity's services for my travel needs, and I will advise my friends and family (many of whom rely on my husband and me for travel recommendations) to do the same. It is my position that this is an issue between Travelocity and me, not the airline and me. I purchased travel insurance through Travelocity so that all I would have to do in this type of situation is deal directly with Travelocity with a fee of less than $40 should -- heaven forbid -- something like this happen; I purchased that insurance with the understanding that I would not have to deal with airline bureaucracy. As the supervisor with whom I spoke yesterday acknowledged, this situation (the trip insurance not being confirmed) was not my fault. I will be satisfied if I cancel my trip, and Travelocity immediately refunds all of my money, minus the trip insurance fee. I am a loyal Travelocity customer (having booked domestic and international hotels, ground and air transportation, and activities through Travelocity beginning in 2007), and if it ends up that Travelocity has to eat the airline fee after refunding my money, that is what Travelocity should do in order to retain a loyal customer and correct its own mistake." On 3/26/2010, I emailed this: "Please find attached the note from my ob/gyn documenting my inability to continue with my travel plans. Per Amelia T's instructions in an email on 3/25/2010, this morning at 10:50, I canceled my trip (cancellation number: Gretchen Taylor- 0377732699264; Amy Elberfeld- 0377732699265). However, I let the representative know that I would not agree to the cancellation policy and that I retain my right to a full refund minus the trip insurance I had initially purchased, though at this point -- and with Travelocity admitting to its error -- I would expect good business practice would be for me to receive a complete refund. Additionally, I've copied below for your reference my initial customer care inquiry (3/25/10 at 2:48 p.m.) as well as my response (3/25/10 at 4:54 p.m.) to Amelia's instructions. Please advise me by the end of the day of the status of my inquiry and refund. My next step -- which I sincerely hope will be unnecessary -- will be to contact the appropriate consumer advocacy organizations." And finally, on 3/27/2010: "As I did not hear back from a Travelocity representative in a timely manner (see latest correspondence from 3/26/10 at 10:02 a.m.), I have now forwarded my dispute to the Better Business Bureau. Please advise me of the status of my issue."
