Clarity Windows

They did a wonderful job. We are very pleased with their work.

They were top-notch and the salesman even came on his day off to bring over a window sample. The communication with the office staff was very good and installation staff was able to get the windows from the manufacturer in three weeks. Then when Corey came to install the windows, he was great the entire time and was very friendly about answering all of my questions. They also did a great job cleaning up and made sure everything passed the expectations. Their pricing was very competitive, among four other quotes, but I would have liked the price to be lower as I was not expecting to spend as much money on windows. Regardless, we are going to use them again to replace additional windows in our house.

The windows are great - making my home and the apartment much more comfortable. They are beautiful - look and function perfectly. Exactly as described. On Schedule. Great install process- clean, effecient, professional. All in all a great job. I have 15 more windows to complete the home and will definately use this company. Also - had previously purchased some by a well known brand that were 2x the price - these look exactly the same infact they are installed in the same room in some cases and you can't tell the difference.

The salesman was very nice and didn't try to put on the hard sell like some of the other estimates I got. He even offered a lower cost option for one of my windows. The installation took a day and a half and already we see a big difference in our energy cost.

The company operates all aspects of their business in a top notch manner including the initial sales contact from my inquiry, from the measuring of each window for custom manufacturing, to the office which gave me weekly updates as to the status of my order (before installation started but after my order was placed with the manufacturer), and to the scheduling of the work, to the completion of the work. Each installation was completed in one day. The installers were courteous, professional and all things I expect from a first class operation.

They were very easy to deal with and did everything that they said they would do, and we were very pleased with the installation.

I have nothing but good things to say about them. They were just fantastic and always kept me informed on the project.

Good experience, made right any problems

My interaction with them was good. They came out and gave me a good demonstration about their product. They gave me a fairly reasonable quote for the job. I would like to get another quote from other company on Angie’s list. I would use them in the future.

We have been looking at window replacements for a year, have talked to numerous companies and received estimates. Clarity was great from the first phone call to completion. Fred was great during our in home estimate, no pressure to buy now or trash talking other companies. We had several atypical window needs. We reviewed various ideas for these. We were provided with multiple options and cost associated with them and given plenty of time to review and make a decision. The price was similar to other windows we had reviewed but the quality was superior. The owner, Chris and Fred returned the next week to go over our unique needs and fully explained what they could and could not do, no hidden surprises for later. They also brought up details for us to make decisions on that we had not considered. We ordered the windows. We were kept informed weekly of the progress of production. Once the windows arrived, they worked around my schedule for install. Cory did the install and he was easy to communicate with. Kept me informed of his plans and was conscientious of our pets. He did a beautiful job installing. He left the place spotless when done. We are very pleased with our windows and service. Four panel sliding door replacement is next.

The windows are of excellent quality. I am very satisfied with them. The installers were professional and did a wonderful job. Clairity was very good about conacting us weekly to let us know the status of the order and the approximate delivery date. I have only two issues. Issue 1 - in their radio advertising they guaranteed a certain percentage reduction in utility bills. This did not occur and I"m not sure it is even verifiable, but I'm sure my bills did not decreast by the percentage advertised. I notice that they no longer say this. Issue 2 - At the time the windows were sold to us, a substantial tax credit was available (2010). The website and the sales person told us that as long as we ordered the windows by the end of the year, whether installed or not, we would be eligible for the credit. The windows were ordered on time but did not get installed until January 2011. The sales person included the tax savings in his pitch to sell the windows to us. When tax time came around, I realized that the windows did indeed have to be INSTALLED before the end of 2010 to get the credit, so this cost us thousands of dollars that we had planned on for tax savings. When we contacted Clarity their response was we could probably just claim the credit and the IRS would probably not notice when the windows were installed which is essentially tax fraud, but there was not offer by Clarity to compensate us for this error. I submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau which pretty much died and we never heard anything back. I am happy with the windows and couldn't have been happier with the installation, but had another quote for half for windows that did not qualify for the credit. The tax credit had a lot to do with our decision to purchase these windows.

Jack, the owner of the company, came out and gave a very impressive demonstration of Clarity's Preservation windows. We took multiple bids and even though his windows seemed to be of higher quality than his competitors', his bid was as low or lower than the others. John, the installer, came out on Monday and did a great job. He installed the windows professionally, cleaning up after himself after each window. We had concerns about our landscape and he did a good job in not damaging our plants. The final price was exactly what we contracted for, even though John installed 1x2 framing around four windows -- a service that was not in the contract. Overall we are extremely happy. One minor problem had to do with scheduling. On the Friday before the job started we were led to believe that there would be more than one installer (although to be fair, we failed to confirm that). As a result, the job took a little longer than we had anticipated, and indeed it looked for a while as though it would take three days rather than the one (or "possibly" two) we had arranged our work schedules around. When I called with my concerns, the person I spoke to managed to hide any interest or concern that she might have had in the problem. A huge deal? No. But it certainly could have been handled better (a heads up phone call, or a follow up would have been easy and appropriate). In all, though, the windows look great and we are pleased. We are going to install outside doors next year and will certainly consider using Clarity. However, next time we will confirm in advance the number of installers who will be assigned to our job.

Clarity had the best windows and the best price for what I got. Sales staff was polite and informative. They make only one window at the highest specification. The price was actually lower than some companies who offered windows with fewer features and benefits. The installation was no-hassle. They ask for payment only once the windows are installed. I'm totally happy. I even recommended them to my boss and my boss ended up going with them.

They were wonderful. They were friendly and responsive. We were working with another company that would never respond to us. These guys came out and spent hours sitting at our table giving us options. They are very nice and friendly. That's all great, but if they don't deliver the product then that's not so good, but they delivered the product and the installation was smooth. They did a great job. I'd recommend them.

Windows look great, work great, help keep the house cool. Installers were on time and did the work quickly. A problem with the trim around a couple of the window installations was dealt with promptly.

The windows were similar quality to the other companies we were comparing them to. They had the style and type we were looking for. We chose not to use Clarity because their price was higher than what we were wanting to pay. Although the salesman was prompt and friendly, he seemed a bit disinterested in what he was selling. It wasn't high pressure sales, though, which is nice.

Their windows were too white and even the beige looked like white. There was too much of glass on the vinyl windows. They were very prompt. I almost went with them but I decided not to, because of the beige color that they had was more of a neutral color. The price was reasonable. The guy was courteous. They got back with me immediately. It was a good experience. I liked every single thing about the whole experience. I liked his price and his courteousness. I liked everything except for the windows itself. This was my first experience with vinyl versus aluminum. The vinyl sticker has more around the perimeter and it has a wider support system because its vinyl rather than aluminum. I decided not to go with that type of product. I live in a condo and not in a house. He gives you all the information that you need to make a reasonable decision. He had four samples and everything. I would use their services again in the future.

We were extremely pleased with our choice of contractors. I spent several years in the wholesale window business, so I was well versed in the benefits of vinyl windows. My only decision was which company to select. I received estimates from 7 different companies, and I am convinced that I chose the right one. Everyone from the salesman to the office staff and to the installer was very professional. Kudos especially to the installer, Pete, who blew me away with his quality of work and attention to detail. I had virtually no clean-up to do once he left. I will definitely recommend Clarity to my friends that are looking to replace windows in the future.

They did really well. The first installer didn't do well on the trim and the coat. I guess it was his supervisor who came out and he did it the way it was supposed to be done. They were pretty responsive when we had an issue.

Jack came out to my house twice to measure, & discuss the most economical style and construction of window - and was extremely informative, honest & competitive. I chose the double-pane double-hung design instead of triple-pane for cost reasons, which are very well built and come with a lifetime breakage / leakage guarantee. He arranged reduced interest financing for a small fee, and had an installer come out to confirm his measurements before ordering the windows. Shannon in customer service was great, and called & e-mailed me with weekly updates on my order. They had estimated 4 weeks to special order the windows from Ohio, but they called in just over 2 weeks to inform me that the windows had arrived and ready for installation the following Monday. The installer arrived promptly, and was very skillful and efficient. I had no worries leaving him at the house while I went out to run errands during the day and a half that it took to replace 12 windows. The windows were custom-sized, and fit very snugly into the brick openings with very little caulk required. He answered all of my questions, and had no problem with letting me ask a lot of questions during the process. He even went out and bought custom 1 x 2 cedar trim to custom frame some of the windows that he felt didn't look right, since they were so much thicker than my old ones. The clean-up was thorough, and the house now is much quieter and comfortable - with my a/c running much less often. I have no negatives to report on Clarity Windows, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

We have had three different companies out. They have a triple pane window, which I really like, but they are the most expensive. You can to down to the double pane and it doesn't change the U factor and the solar heat efficiency a lot, but they don't have the lifetime warranty or the glass breakage warranty on the double pane windows. The sales rep was really nice, I liked him. I possibly will use their services again.

They did an excellent. We were very happy with them.

They did a good job. We hadn't got around to moving like the way they moved through the window sills. We had to remove the curtains off the windows. They didn’t mess the place up and cleaned up after themselves. We were very pleased with their work and it looks good on the house. They kept me informed and they told me they wouldn't take too many days to give me a couple of things but that worked out fine. They are very good.

Clarity arrived on time and discussed various options and recommendations. We only asked for pricing on various options for two bedroom windows. Was told we would have an estimate within a day or two. After a week we called and left a VM asking for the estimate. Also, said we would like 6 more windows replaced. Never heard back. We have an estimate from Brennan now and decided to use them since Clarity never called back.

They didn't seem to think that they had a problem, but I did. When they came out to my house for installation, they were short 3 windows. We didn't receive any notice that they didn't have the appropriate amount of windows. The entire project from start to finish, took about a month and a half. The owner also wanted me to pay, enough though they didn't install all of the windows, was not fair and I wasn't happy about it.
