I purchased pest control service from Bulwark as an Angie's list deal. Setting up appointment was easy. We were concerned about inside application on the baseboards because we have a baby in the house who is now an active crawler. For inside application, they sprayed inside the wall rather than the baseboards, which is a nice touch. We have had a few recurrences of ants since the initial treatment, but they came back out at no charge for spot treatments. They also followed up with phone calls after each treatment to ensure that it worked. We are moving away from the area, but if we were staying I would not have reservation about hiring them for pest control in the future.

They came right away and showed up when they said they would. They did a good job and we are please with the service.

After I bought the coupon online, I was contacted almost immediately by the company. I missed the call that day, and it took a while to get a response after that initial call. When I did reach someone, they were wonderful. I set up a time for them to come and treat my home. They recommended that I sign up for continued protection every two months, though it was not required. I chose to sign up. They should up at the correct time, and did all their work quickly and efficiently.

The service turned out okay. That one big deal, they get you in there and act like they require you to sign up with them on a quarterly basis for permanent treatment. That was not the case on with Angie’s List big deal. There was no requirement that you sign up with them for long term, but we did sign up with them, and it just did not work out real well. So, we just cancelled Bulwark and have someone else doing the service. They did an okay job for that one treatment. I would say it was average. Then after that, they slipped up. They never made the appointments. We tried four times to schedule the last treatment, and finally, I told them to take me off their list because I was going with someone else. They came out a couple of months after we bought the big deal. We worked it out. We just spent the amount of the $68 big deal at that point. We connected with them for a quarterly service. The price was good for that one deal. For that one deal, they did fine. I did have any complaints for what they did that time. They are a very large company, and they handle everything by telephone and e-mail. I got three e-mails telling me that they would be over here by Saturday at a certain time. This was a reminder that they would be there Saturday. They kept going on with it, and Saturday comes, and the guy was late or not able to be there. Things happened after that big deal. So, they were not responsive after that. For that one big deal, they were responsive. On the big deal, they did a good job, but when hooked up on a permanent basis for permanent servicing, their responsiveness, timeliness, and dependability all decreased.

Arrived on time, appeared knowledgeable. This company used a different system pest control. He technician did not just spray the baseboards rather he sprayed exterior door jams and around the windows where pests might get inside. He took off all of the downstairs outlet covers and applied a bait there. The exterior of the house he broadcast some bait also. He discussed his company's ongoing protection plan which I decided I did not want to contract for additional services at that time.

It went well. Satisfied with the services performed.

After the one time treatment I was automatically enrolled in a monthly service that I did not ask for, the company apologized for this error and asked how the service went, I told them that the sugar ant problem still existed and they said they would come back for the next 3 months free. After the 3rd visit the problem went away, I was satisfied with this. Since the last visit I assume I was enrolled in the monthly service again because I keep being billed. Nice people overall, but stop billing me for something I didn't authorize.

The appointment was made for the day I requested, the tech called ahead and arrived within the promised time. He explained everything, described the procedures and was courteous, thorough and professional. He explained the warranty process and suggested additional care within the warranty period, which was included in the original cost. They even leave a list of all the treatments used inside and out. Best of all- DEAD BUGS! This company uses friendly chemicals inside the house which leave no odor and did not bother either me or my cat.. I would definitely use them again or recommend them.

It went very well. He was professional and courteous and explained what he was doing every step of the way.

Bulwark Exterminating showed up exactly when they said they would We are first time customers. They explained what treatment was being done. Very professional, courteous and helpful with information. We signed on for quarterly treatment.

Never used this company before but was seeing a few scorpions around the house and decided to take advantage of Angie's List special of $68. We were scheduled for service between 8am and noon. By noon when nobody arrived or called, my husband called and spoke to office and was told they would check and see what hold up was and call right back. About an hour later when no call back, my husband called again and spoke to different person who rescheduled us for service between 6-9pm the same evening. Around 5pm a manager called and spoke to husband and apologized for delay saying they didn't have enough people to cover all their service calls and offered a discount of 50% for next 2 visits if we used them again. Service rep showed up and did a good job that evening but will never use this company again because of all the delays and problems.

Well about two weeks after this service, I found a 3 inch scorpion (about 3 years old) on the side of my house! I also had thousands of ants cover the concrete on the patios and sidewalks around the house. I immediately called Bulwark and requested that they come back and take care of the issue. I was put on hold and then about 15 mins later, I was told that they would call me back to schedule an appropriate time for them to come take care of my problem. That was 7 days ago and I still have not heard from this company whose customer service is beyond ridiculous. I would not recommend their services to anyone since they do not follow their word. I also was going to get a bi-monthly treatment for my yard with them, but now I will not be needing their services. FYI, stay away from companies who don't call back when you are in need of service!

The technician arrived in his "Scorpion Truck" decorated with gigantic scorpions. He was a personable, professional young man in a uniform. He introduced himself, then went about his business. A few minutes later, he was finished. After providing his invoice (paid at time of selection on Angie's List), he offered a choice of plans at reasonable prices. Since his visit, no scorpions, so the service appears to work as advertised. We will use it again.

The technician treated the interior and exterior of our house, including the attic and yard. He asked for any problem areas and was thorough in the application of the product. The technician also addressed my concerns about the product being safe for children and pets (which it is). Our home and yard were pest free for the duration of time the technician said the treatment would cover. We would definitely use their services in the future.

The last time they came back and I told them to come back when I was in the area because I was having trouble with bugs and ants, and they came back when I wasn't here, so I still have the problem that I had. I specifically told them to come back when I was here, so that I could be here and they could come in and take care of the problem. I had purchased a big deal for them and they did a good job then, but the bugs didn't go away, so when they came back, I told them that the bugs hadn't gone away and they should come from this hour to this hour, because I will be here but they come in when it is convenient for them. They left me a bill and I didn't even know they were here. They want me to pay for the last visit but I told them that I asked them to come back when I was here and the problem is still here. I asked them how do I know they came and I wanted the job done inside because I have the problem inside. I am going to call them and ask them to finish the job, and then I am never going to call them again. I think they are too expensive and the bugs never went away.

Sam checked in with me and checked if there were any specific problems since his last visit. He did the treatment and then let me know he was finished and gave men the bill which I promptly paid. We visited for a few minutes and before he left he made sure I would call him for any new problems and he would be right out. I like the way he keeps me informed and querries for any troubles.

It went great after having to make 4 calls to make an appointment. Their system keeps hanging up on you. And then if you are lucky enough to get a real person, they take a message and nobody calls back. Also, they gave us mixed information about having to sign up for a treatment schedule. We just wanted a one-time treatement. One person told us we had to sign-up for a treatment schedule with using the $68 Angies List coupon, and we would have to cancel later. We were later told that it was not necessary to sign-up for a treatment schedule, and ultimately we did not have to. Having said all that. The technician that showed up was very punctual and very professional. She knew what she was doing and did a great job. She answered all our questions and kept us informed what she was doing and why. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of work that was performed. We just wished they were more professional when it comes to communication. When we need another treatment, we will use them again. But if we have the same communciation issues, we will probably shop for a new exterminator.

Bulwark Exterminating were fine. They came out within 10 days of me purchasing the Big Deal. I'm happy with the service that they gave us. The only negative that I can think of is that they do consider you under contract, because they do come to provide that service. They don't hold you to a contract, but they consider you under contract. The next time they come, I will have to decline their service. That may be standard operating procedure, I don't know.

The services of Bulwark Exterminating went great. They were very courteous, on time and very thorough. They spent a lot of time talking to me. I didn't spend more than the big deal purchase.

The service by Bulwark Exterminating has been fine, they were really good to deal with. I'm still using them. They come out every 3 months and if I have any issues in between, they come right back out and spray.

It went extremely well and Ande came over and did an extremely good job. She took off the covers of our light switches and plugs. She also moved around furniture. She was very professional and also took off her shoes before she came into our home. She educated us as she was working. She showed phenomenal customer service.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. They were good, on time and reasonable. I took the expanded contract. They are very polite and professional and I recommend them to family members and friends. The price for the initial service was good and price for the regular treatments is average and reasonable.

I kept them. It has been great. I did pay extra because I asked them to do the outside.

I do not think I have seen a reduction in scorpions yet. I did not sign a contract, and I went ahead and paid $79, and that was quite fair. I paid for their monthly service after that. 2:46-2:49 . It was just that we were going to wait a year and see what happens, and it has been about a year. They are on time. That is good. As far as customer service is good and they are on time, I appreciate that. I am just not sure if their product is actually helping me. I do not know if it is just my situation or what or if it is just the product or the way they put it down. They seem really nice people. The pricing was good. I think they are cheaper than anybody else. It does not seem to be working.
