Bulwark Exterminating San Antonio

I liked the idea of not having spray along my baseboards inside the house, but we have seen a few bugs in the house and garage since the treatment. So I am wondering if this method works very good or not.

Very nice and professional but the effectiveness of the exterminating lacked somewhat compared to other providers.

I’m still using them! I like using organic products in the house and other products in the yard. Realizing that organics are not as strong, I’ve had to have them come back out for free if there are any issues. It's also nice that you get the same service tech, so they already know where your issues are in your house.

Bulwark came in and did a great job on the initial treatment and subsequent outdoor treatments. I switched to another provider due to the $80 cost bi monthly and that the other provider left pest treatment traps and Bulwark did not.

They did everything as promised. Very satisfied. Tubing is not by default.

Never came back to check which they were paid to do. Showed up one year late with "we are sorry"

The services that Bulwark provides keeps the pests out of my house and the stress out of my schedule. Anytime I note a problem, all I have to do is call and the friendly technician is always prompt to address the issue. Couldn't ask for better service.

Roy treats our house like his house. He is respectful of our time and is always prompt. He goes above and beyond to accommodate our schedules and has even made late visits so we could be home when he arrives.

I was very happy with them. I didn't have any issues but I wanted some preventative maintenance done in the house and out back.

Just sort of OK... The tech was polite enough, but not very professional. The inside spraying didn't seem very thorough, and the tech refused to spray outside due to potential weather (wind/rain), which seemed a little strange. Since it was Friday afternoon, I had the distinct impression that he just wanted to start his weekend. The tech was very annoying, whenever I asked questions he would do a lot of speculating about the answer, then finally admit that he didn't know. He was much more interested in talking that spraying. It was apparent that he didn't really understand his job, but he acted like a know it all. He just did not take the job seriously. Since someone had to come back later, I asked the company to send someone else out to finish, someone who would take the job more seriously. It's been a month since the treatment... I had not seen any insects in the house before treatment, and still don't have any inside. I had not noticed any ants outside before treatment, and now I have several areas active with ants, and they are within ~5 feet of the foundation, which was supposed to have been treated. I have also seen some other types of insects making homes under the edge of my siding. The return visit to spray outside happened while I was at work, so I can't comment on how thorough it was. I did have a notice posted on my back door, so I know that they came back the day they said they would. Based on the insect activity outside near the foundation, I am less than satisfied with this service.

The company called and explained the services which were performed with the special purchased from Angies List. We set up an appointment and technical arrived on time. He Covered feet while in the house, was very polite. Explained the pesticides using and the effects on the insects (we might see more action since the poison would stir then up). We witnessed immediate decrease of insects and scorpions. Woohoo Bullwark!!

They did a wonderful job. They come out when scheduled. They were able to get rid of the ants inside. A month later the ants showed up and they came back out to spray. They even called two days later to see how things were going. This company is ver responsive as well.

We've now had a contract for several years with Bulwark. They are extremely professional and friendly. Our service person is Fidel who goes above and beyond in his job. He offered to come back this past week and spray our back yard at no extra charge because I complained about having chiggers. He always does a thorough job and we have little to no pest problems in our house. When we moved here I was nervous about the scorpions. Since having Bulwark, I've never seen one in or around our house whereas our neighbors do get them in their houses. I highly recommend Bulwark!

Arrived on time. Thoroughly explained what he was doing and why. Sprayed the inside and outside of the house. All was Excellent!

When the first tech came out back in December he told me I had rats in my attic. I was horrified. He set several glue traps up there and put two bait stations in my yard and told me he would be back in a week or two to check the traps. I never heard a peep. I went in my attic and checked them occasionally and guess what, I caught several lizards...no mice, no rats. I call Bukwark to have someone come out since no one followed up. Next tech told me first tech was no longer working for Bulwark and confused lizard feces with rat feces. My biggest issue with Bulwark was the constant pestering when it was time for my treatment (quarterly). The last time was the last straw. After several calls I told them I would call them let them know when it was good for me. It wasn't a couple days they were calling me again. Sometimes we have things come up in our lives that we don't have time to deal with the pest control and that was my situation. I set a date and promptly canceled my service thereafter. There was way too much badgering for my taste. The man I spoke with when I called to cancel said they now send emails instead of the persistent phone calls...no thanks, I'm done.

I am very happy the experience from this provider. I would definitely use them again.

It went well - we were not ready for the garage to be sprayed when he came out due to boxes from us still moving in. We asked if he could come back: he said sure, just call anytime. When we were ready he came back out and sprayed. Very happy.

Professional and excellent service

I've used this company previously and they are always prompt and courteous.

It was good. They have done follow up appointments since that day as well. I am still having issues but they indicated that that should be expected. I had one of the workers who had a follow up appointment set up where not only did he not leave a voicemail to state that he was running behind but he called at the end of the appointment, i didn't even know him. He didn't even tell me that he was going to be late but he didn't even show up during the scheduled window. I even offered to still wait for him till 8 pm that day so the entire day was wasted and instead of ringing my doorbell, he just left a note on my door knock stating that he had showed up and he didn't even bother to announce himself. I was very unhappy about the responsiveness. They are their on time.

I believe Bulwark is trying to provide a good service. I think, however, there is a communication problem. When I first talked to the manager, he explained to me about possibly putting something in the walls for pest control. When the technician arrived,I asked for information about it. He said he didn't know anything about it. He was just told to spray inside and outside. Then I signed a contract thinking it was for both inside and outside. I didn't ask and technician didn't really explain. So next time service was due, I thought I was getting inside and outside service. Turns out it was only outside. So, okay, I went with that. One thing that surprised me was that I would get a call that someone was coming, but I never saw a truck or technican. A couple of times I just found an invoice outside my patio door. One time my husband noticed they had come. He said they were gone in about 10minutes. The final frustration came when I walked out into my back lawn and my legs got bitten up with chigger bites. I had a pest control service previously and never had that problem. So, while I think the business is trying,I think the technician who is doing the spraying needs to provide more information to the customer. I have to say I should have asked more questions and stayed on top of things, but I think the service should be the one taking the lead.
