Description of Work: We just moved into a new home, and after purchasing the "$89 General Interior/Exterior Pest Control Treatment" coupon from Angie's List, I called Bulwark to schedule the treatment. Once the technician arrived at my home, he refused to perform the service I had already paid for until I signed a service contract obligating us to recurring pest control services. I refused to sign the contract, because I had found a cheaper company shortly after purchasing the coupon. The technician left without performing the services I had already somewhat paid-in-full for by purchasing the coupon. While Bulwark was understanding, and didn't redeem the coupon, they shouldn't have offered it through Angie's List in the first place without the coupon clearly stating that a contract is required to use it.

Description of Work: Never used them. Decided against due to my email with questions being sent back to me because their mailbox was full. Indicated to me provider not interested.

Description of Work: After purchasing the $68 Big Deal special they had I contacted the provider to make an appt. to schedule the service. I received voice mail and left a message. I received no response by the next day so I called again and was transferred to voice mail. 2 days later I tried again and was sent to voicemail. I cancelled my purchase as I received and still have no response from the provider. I will not buy any of their deals again.

Description of Work: Treated my residence for pests inside and out. I got their quartly package at that time which covers no cost inside treatment if needed at anytime and then the outside treatment. That costs $96 quartly. They just came in June to do another treatment and I did need to have the inside done once more and my garage. They also did the outside, which they say is the main palce to have sprayed. I must say they were RIGHT This is the first time that I am really bug free.

Description of Work: They were hard to get ahold of. No one handled office calls for 3 days or more. I finally contacted a tech. The vendor I hired eventually reached someone in the Bulwark office. The tech was polite, but used a lot of scare tactics to get me to use the service (horrid bug scenarios, infestation stories, breeding scenarios). I did not sleep for days.

Description of Work: I purchased a deal that promised to reduce the number of scorpions in our home. I was skeptical because all other extermination companies told me that it couldn't be done. Therefore, we have been living with the nasty bugs for several years. Against the odds, Bulwark did it! We have been using them for almost 1 year and the number of scorpions that we see inside our house has significantly been reduced. I am amazed!

Description of Work: I purchased the Big Deal on Angies List. Technician was right on time, was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. This is exactly the type of pest treatment I'd been hoping for: product in the walls ( as well as other interior & exterior application) especially since I live in a condo, with common walls. My prior exterminator would come out for additional service if I had "pests". While that's nice, I didn't - and don't - want to have creepy things at all. Ever. Nada. That's why I use an exterminator, so I don't have things move in. I like Bulwark's approach, and while they, too, will come out between scheduled service if needed, it seems unlikely that that will be needed. For the most part, it sounds like outside service will be all that's needed from now on, which is very convenient, since I won't have to be home for that to occur. As we intend to rent this unit soon, I'm happy to be able to offer a pest- free unit to my renters, with convenient upkeep that won't inconvenience them by requiring them to be home. The only potential downside I see thus far (and a minor one at that) is that edible plants/herbs in the yard must be protected from the treatment. Pets, too, though I'm of the belief that pets belong in the house anyway :). For this first treatment, I brought my potted herbs into the house before the backyard was sprayed. Once all was dry, the herbs moved back outside. Simple. So far, I'm delighted, and I expect to remain so.

Description of Work: Whole house extermination - inside and out. Bulwark representative was professional and friendly and very knowledgeable. I have had my home treated many times over the years by several different companies in San ANtonio. I tried Bulwark for the first time due to an Angies List special and will continue using them from now on, with or without a coupon or special due to the quality of work performed. This is the first company that did not rush in with a canister of unknown liquid then rush out 20 minutes later with my money! The representative explained the procedure, took time to inspect the whole house inside and out, then explain the products he would need to use to eliminate the ants and other annoying insects we had seen in and out of the house. My concern was for the kids and pets we have as well as my indoor plants and outdoor landscaping. The rep took his time to listen and explain everything to my satisfaction BEFORE he treated a single inch of my home. Due to the length of time that has passed since the treatment, i cannot remember the exact product used or even the technicians name but i would definitely recommend Bulwark. They may be a little more expensive than some but to me, the service and quality of products used is worth it.

Description of Work: One of the managers did our home. Very efficient and spent time at the house. That night nd the next day, results of the spraying effectiveness were evident. However, in a few days I placed "bombs" in the garage and killed at least twice as many bugs. He only sprayed garage. Other than that, I was satisfied withthis company.

Description of Work: Used Bulwark exterminating for initial indoor treatment, and now on a schedule for outside treatment every two months. We recently moved to the country and I was finding lots of dead scorpions inside the house prior to us moving in. I have a crawling baby so was paranoid. Ever since Bulwark has been coming out here, I have not seen another scorpion! Their customer service is fantastic and both technicians that have come to the house are very nice. Great company and appreciate Angie's List for helping me find them.

Description of Work: The tech was supposed to be here from %-7p.m. He showed up at 8:00. He did NOT service the back yard and only spent 15 minutes on my home. according to the supervisor an Initial service should take almost an HOUR! This guy was gone within 15 minutes. I will NEVER use this sorry company again.

Description of Work: It was an Angie's list deal, so I thought I would give them a try. I was having a problem with scorpions and they were able to take care of it. I received a follow up call to make sure I was satisfied with my service and everyone was very nice and helpful. Also if there are any other bug problems, I am supposed to call them and they will take care of it at no charge.

Description of Work: The service that was performed was a whole house pest control. First of all the gentlemen that came to do the service spent more time talking and trying to explain the process than actually doing the work. It felt like he was trying to sell the product and when we told him that it was a one time deal from Angie's List coupon, he seem like he wasn't familiar with the service requirement. Also he said he would dust the attic and when it came time to get into the attic, he said his equipment broke. Not impress with this company.
