Coit Carpet Cleaning and Restoration - San Antonio did what was expected. The price, quality, responsiveness, and professionalism were excellent.

They did a good job and were professional.

On Monday March 18th I used Coit's online service to schedule a time on Friday March 22nd to have the carpet and grout clean. We are putting our house on the market to sell and I needed to have this done before leaving town the following week. I called on Friday March 22nd 30 minutes before my appointment time, as I had not heard from them, and got an answering machine. I later received a call saying that my web appointment had never transferred to their system. The young woman said she was able to log into the coit system to see that I had made the appointment, but that they would not be able to get me in. Why would you use an online appointment system that was not reliable? Very frustrating. They young woman was very apologetic, but now I'm in a huge bind. I'll try someone else before I go back to coit.

Paul the repersentative from COIT, introduced himself and asked what we needed cleaned. He explained in detail the process and the Guarantee. Work was done in professional and courteous maner. Explained how long we needed to keep trafic from the area cleaned unless we wore socks. Next day the Pet stains were not back and the carpet was dry. Extremely pleased.

I did find the staff cooperative. I wish they had informed the tennants to let them know they were going to be late. I had already paid but service was not done for about 12 -14 days due to tenants schedule. I wish they had let me know, I had to call several times to make sure it had been done. No complaints from renters about the job though, which is good!

The 2-man crew arrived on time and did an excellent job of cleaning 3 bedrooms, one set of stairs and a walk-in closet. Moved small pieced of furniture carefully and replaced them properly. Removed chocolate milk, red wine, and soda stains as well as a pair of black greasy lines from a rolling suitcase. The carpet looks as good as new!

Company showed up on time and did a great job cleaning the vent. I feel safer now that it's done as a dirty dryer vent is cause for concern for house fires. We would use them again.

We had never used Coit before, but decided to try them out when an Angie's List coupon was offered. Our carpets are off-white and were showing stains. Jake arrived on time and explained how he would be cleaning the carpets and what to expect regarding the stains. We had moved all of our furniture out and had discovered a very old wine stain. He did a very good job in all areas and did get the old stain out. We decided to add on the stairs and upper hallway while he was there. Overall we were very pleased with the job, and we will use Coit again.

This was a bad experience. There was no mention of a service charge for coming to Pipe Creek until after the truck was on the way. At that time, someone called me to say there would be a $50 service fee added. The service man changed that to $60, so we were hit with an extra $60 charge that was unexpected. The service man cleaned the back vent but did not touch the front dryer vent of the machine. That is not what I expected.

Excellent service. Worker arrived on time, had very effective equipment, and completed the job quickly. He even removed the bird nest from the vent near the outside! All works great now - although the birds are not quite as pleased with the results.

My coupon was overdue, but Marcus agreed to accept it. He discussed some bad stains and I agreed to the e xtra treatments. He said he would do what he could to the pale beige loveseat and I was pleased with what he managed to clean up. The service was very prompt, considering it was just a week before Christmas and he worked quickly and thoroughly. He even gave me a 30% discount on the upholstry cleaning! I would definitely recommend this company.

A very nice young man preformed the service, showed up promptly and was very polite. Tile and grout in kitchen, 2 baths and laundry room were to be cleaned and sealed. This is a very difficult review to write....as the owners are very nice. The equipment he used was similar to a carpet cleaning machine. Within moments of him starting the procedure the toxic odor was overwhelming. Stinging my eyes and making me cough. I opened the doors and turned on all ceiling fans. It got progressively worse so I removed our small dog to the back yard and I tried to spend as much time outside as possible. I asked the young man how he could possibly put up with that odor and he indicated he "got used to it". Very strong chemical smell that literally took your breath away. In watching the process, I didn't see how this machine could clean and seal the grout in one step...it was done in a sweeping motion across the floor, with a machine...at no time was anything applied by hand. I questioned him about the process and he indicated that the machine preformed both tasks. When I had originally sealed the grout I was on my hands and knees applying sealer to the grout with a paint brush. I left the house immediately after he finished and took the dog with me. You could not tolerate being in the house. Several hours later my husband came home. The toxic smell was still present, he was even more sensitive to it than I and we contemplated spending the night in a hotel. We were both coughing. We put the dog in a crate outside and went to dinner to get out of the house. Upon returning we opened windows and continued using the fans and made it through the night...the next morning I again opened doors and kept the fans running.. Then, I noticed in the days/weeks following that any water that dripped on the floors was immediately absorbed into the grout....to me it did not repel water as a sealer should. The grout around the bath tub was discoloring, where you would get out of the shower. Grout sealer should last 3 years. Then, unfortunately, shortly after the service we had out of state family concerns and unrelated serious health issues. I had contacted the company and spoke with the owner...she was extremely nice and willing to work with us to correct the situation. I again repeated that I couldn't see how a one step process could clean and seal grout. I also indicated that in no way did I want the process repeated due to the toxic smell, burning eyes and difficulty breathing. She agreed to send someone out and assist us...with all the personal issues we had and being out of town frequently, for weeks at a time, I did not schedule them to come back. I have not heard from them either. I am writing this review as I repeatedly receive requests from Angie's List for a review on this service and I have been putting it off. Very nice people run this company and if you look at all their reviews for carpet cleaning they appear to have excellent reviews. I did not see any reviews for the tile process. I indicated that I would use them again based on their record for carpet cleaning not tile. Although a great deal of time has passed I would still like some sort of compensation. I have since had the floor cleaned and I sealed the grout by hand using a small paint brush.

Jacob and Roderick were the technicians who performed the services at my home. I made sure to get their names because I wanted to give them the credit for a job very well done! First of all, they were very accommodating and worked around my kids, the dogs and even the plumber! They came in and went right to work cleaning the tile and grout. By that afternoon, they were ready to start the color sealing. My grout was quite dirty and stained. So, even though they informed me that once it was color sealed the grout would be uniform in color, I was a little skeptical. Jacob started in the master bath and it was completed by the end of the workday. It looked amazing! Before they left for the day, I was told they would be back the next morning to finish the job which should take half a day. I was a little more concerned about how the grout in the kitchen and entryway would turn out. But once Roderick and Jacob finished the color seal, I was blown away again! I will definitely call Coit when I need my tile cleaned next time.

I purchased the "Big Deal" for dryer vent cleaning through Angie's List. Coit contacted me the next day via e-mail and I called and set up the appointment. I was given a 2 hour time window. The technician arrived on time and he called approximately 15 minutes before he arrived stating he was on his way. "Jac" showed up and was very personable and professional. After detaching the flex hose on the dryer, he then went on the roof to get to the vent. He told me that the dryer vent that the builder had installed was a non-serviceable hood at the roof termination point. He then went into the attic and observed that there was also a screen at the termination point and that lint was blowing out of the pipe into the attic! He partly disassembled the pipe in the attic so he could go ahead and clean it and it was stuffed to the gills! No wonder it took 2 hours to dry a load of towels. He put everything back together and described everything in technical detail on the service report so when I call someone to fix it they would know exactly what needed to be done. Jac went above and beyond the service call. I will definitley use COIT again and recommend them to anyone who wants a reputable company working in their home.

I had a really good experience with Coit Carpet Cleaning and Restoration - San Antoni. They were here on time and he did a really good job.

I was happy with them. I had some stains and they were uncertain if they could remove them, but they were able to. The only problem was that I saw a price from them for cleaning carpets, but when they showed up they said it did not apply because of the stain, so it was a lot more expensive.

It went fine. The cost was pretty high. They seemed thorough and they taped everything off.

It was okay. They showed up on time, did the work they were supposed to, recommended our dryer to be cleaned put every 6 months but they didn't push any services on me saying I have to do this or that.
