Overall it went well. They would call when they were on their way. The tile looks great and a new toilet was installed for me at no extra charge. All of my questions were answered concerning cure time for grout, etc.. I can't wait for my master bathroom to be done!

This experience just had problems from the beginning. Tony couldn't find out house; he works in San Antonio mostly and we live in New Braunfels. It was hard for him to schedule a time to come here. When he did arrive, he started on work to install grab bars in ceramic tiles in shower. He got two up, but said he could not install the third: the process was using up his drill bits. So we parted ways. In general, a disappointing call for us, and I'm pretty sure for Tony too.

I was very happy with Tony's work. He showed up on time and even with the extra work with the support floor he was able to complete the entire job by the time he had estimated. There was a minor problem with some grout that was washed out because of a leak form the shower before it had cured. Tony came back out and re grouted the area at no charge.

Excellent service. 5 star. Very happy. He did more than what the coupon stated. He installed a new faucet and sprayer and bottle. Very professional, on time and the cleaned up very well. Every time I look at it I get happy.

The job went great. I purchased a coupon from Angie's list for tile work from Tony's Tile. I contacted Tony, and he came out to look at the bathroom within a few days. I appreciated the fact that he was comfortable tiling over the existing tile--I did not want to pay to demo the old tile if it wasn't necessary. We scheduled a date for the work, and he arrived at the agreed upon day and time. The work was finished within a few days, and it looks beautiful. I'm very happy with the tile job!

I bought an Angie's List "deal" for 4 man hours of tiling for $99, so I called to make an appt. for Tony to come out and measure and give us an estimate and schedule. He was very courteous and always punctual (he won my heart right there with that quality!). I showed him a sample of what I wanted to put up, marble instead of ceramic tile, and he was very amenable to doing exactly what I wanted, even though the deal was for ceramic. We discovered that marble is a lot more fragile and tricky to work with, especially when making cuts---this complication did not faze Tony. I originally could not find a suitable edging piece for the crema marfil marble, so Tony offered to have an associate do a bull nose treatment on the flat tiles for the edges. Another bonus of working with Tony, though I did pay extra for that service. He called the day before installation, to remind me, and showed up a few minutes early the scheduled day and time. I appreciated that he laid heavy drop cloths over my wood floors from the door to the kitchen so as not to spread the mess, and also covered my granite countertops so they wouldn't get scratched. He and his partner were here from 9-3 the first day and then about 2 hours the next (due to curing time, you have to grout after the mastik is completely dry, hence the 2 days.) Tony even saved the day when a trim piece was a smidge too tall to fit under a molding piece on the cabinet. With my permission, he removed the molding pieces (4 in all) and trimmed them to fit, then nailed them back up. I agreed to touch up the nail holes with a little leftover paint I had. That was actually going beyond the call of duty! He left the kitchen very clean. I paid him the $300 extra that he had quoted me plus $125 for the guy who bullnosed the tiles for the edges for a total of $525, which included the labor, mastik, grout, and cleanup. My husband and I made the choice to remove the wallpaper ourselves to save a little money, although Tony would have done it had we wanted it done. So, he works with your budget.Overall, I think it turned out better than I expected. It is so beautiful, I feel like I am in some expensive luxurious hotel on vacation every time I go into my kitchen!

We initially purchased an Angie's List deal for four hours of tile work. Due to the volume of work these deals generate, Tony was not able to get to my job in the time frame I wanted. That seems to be the nature of buying the Angie's List deals -- most of the providers we've purchased deals from have had to delay services due to backlog. That being said, Tony and his crew did a brilliant job for us. Tony contacted me regularly and kept me informed about when he could arrive, when he could complete the work, and the progress of the job. He and his crew broke out old tile, and removed carpet and linoleum. They removed toilets and reseated them, and recommended a tile pattern to us. Throughout the process, they cleaned up at the end of the workday and minimized the mess. The tile looks beautiful and the workmanship was first-rate. Tony, a true professional, recommended that he not reinstall the toilets until a plumber replaced the flanges, as they were rusted and he was sure they would leak if not replaced. Good call! After having the plumber do this work, Tony returned and reinstalled the toilets. We would recommend Tony highly. If we have tile projects in our future, we'll definitely have Tony back to do them. I was so pleased with the performace of Tony's Tile Co with my kitchen that I asked them to totally regut my master and spare bathrooms. All 3 major projects were extremely successful with showroom quality work. His ideas and attentiveness to all projects were excellent! He and is whole crew work exceptionally well with the customer, his ideas contributed greatly to ensuring optimal use of space with an overall enhanced look. I entertain alot and I have gotten RAVE reviews.

They did a great job with a very little mess. They kept it clean and hauled away the debris.
