Terminix - San Antonio -Termite & Pest Control

We have used them for years. The quality of their service is good. Their responsiveness and punctuality are great.

I've been using them 5-6 years. It just went up, it's between $95 and $100 for each quarter. They're always on time, they give me a discount with direct billing, and I haven't had any problems. I just saw him, we stopped and chatted. I like that too, that I always have the same technician and he's very cordial.

They are thorough. They will come back if I have a problem in between service agreement otherwise they are just generally friendly and professional. The staff is great. I have annual service with them.

I have been using them for a year. They come out quarterly to provide service. They are very responsive. I had a problem with cockroaches, and after their treatment, the problem is gone.

We have not had any problems at all. When we had termites they came out and took care of the problem. They were excellent.

I like the way I don't see bugs in my house anymore. They're terrific.

I have been using them for the last 8 years. I like their convenience, reliability and will use them again in the future.

If someone asked me how I felt about Terminix I would say that they are ok and I felt they were priced high.

I really like the fact that their termite protection guarantees that if you have any termite damage after the treatment they will pay for the repairs. Their quarterly pest control is also good. They will even come between treatments as many times as I need to target problem areas.

Service was always prompt. Technician was always professional. Cost is just too high.

Job was done too fast in my opinion. I was told I would be called back to determine if some of the cost could be cut and have not heard back yet.

They are realiable and responsive. If there is any additional problems, a quick call and they come right out to treat the area.

Set appointment for 1PM to 3PM with a call 30 min before coming out. I specified it was important that I be called for 2 reasons: I have a back injury and must rest laying on my back every couple of hours to control pain and 2: Our Golden Retriever was due to have puppies that day and I wanted to be sure I could cancel if she started having puppies when he called before coming out. At 2:55PM a very nice young man came to the door ready to exterminate. I asked why he didn't call. He said he was not provided a phone by the company and could not afford to use his own anymore. He said he was on his parents cell phone plan but caused them to use up all their rollover minutes for his business calls, so they had him buy his own phone which cost him more than he could afford for business calls. I don't want to get this young man in trouble for this -- he is very polite and respectful and regretted the inconvenience this caused. If Terminex promises a 30 minute notification, they need to provide employees a means to do this. This tecnician explained the company was in the process of upgrading their remote terminal unit to allow this notification, and spoke well of Terminex. He also said he would speak to his supervisor about discounting the charge for this job. I have not heard from anyone from Terminex so I don't know what is happening with this. Being retired and on a fixed income, I will not be able to afford to continue to spend $86.50 per quarter for this service after my 1 year contract is up. I will probably return to handling this myself . I did try to have the work done a week or two later but the Terminex employee I talked to was more intent on sticking to Terminex's "once a quarter" schedule than being flexible enough to delay this quarter and then do the next extermination 3 months from the revised date. I know this is to develop a certain recurring annual revenue stream, but in this case it will probably result in stopping that revenue stream from this customer.

I was very pleased with their services. They always showed up when they were supposed to.

It was good. They have been out several times since we moved here this summer. They have been here at least five times since we signed up with them. We pay them on a quarterly basis. They come out if you need them. Their price is comparable to that of anyone else. I feel that they could respond a bit quicker.

I had no problems with them. They are pretty good about everything. They answer our concern. They show up, do the job and leave. I will rate them A on everything except the price.

They do a real good job of keeping the bugs away, and I like them. The people are pretty nice; they have been coming to the house for years. The price is about $60 to $80 depending on what they are doing. I would rate them highly.

I don’t have any problems with them. I don’t know how much I pay them. I just pay the bill. They are consistent. They call and they notify me. When they say they are coming, they are coming. I don’t know about the price since I really haven’t compared. When it comes to their quality, I don’t have bugs in my house. So, that’s a good thing. They schedule the appointments and I don’t have any problems with their responsiveness. I don’t have any problems with their professionalism too. They come with their uniforms. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

They are reliable and dependable. They are also timely and well-known. I haven't compared their prices, but I would assume they are average. The quality of the work is good.

Terminix - Pest Control/Exterminating We have been using them for 2 years now. We like that they always let us know prior to their arrival, they send us a card, letting us know when to expect them. They let us know what kind of treatment is due,and how much, and if it is convenient for us, and a number to call if needed. The guys that have been here have been very nice, and sensitive to the house, and moving around the house. They don't go into places in the house where is not needed. We like the fact that they are a national company, so if we ever move, we could still use them. There isn't anything to dislike about them.

I do not have anything to dislike about them. They do a pretty good job. Their price was fine. We will use their services again in the future.

It was a complicated job because the termite treatment involving injecting Termidol into the ground. We have French drains along one side of the house, and you can’t use Termidol near those. The project entailed digging up the dirt, in order to inject the Terminol into the dirt, letting it dry, and then replacing the dirt, so that it wouldn’t end up in the French drain. Terminix gave me a better price for all of this work than other estimates I’d received.

They used to be ABC Pest Control, and then Terminix bought them out. We have been with them for about 30 years. They are excellent, really. They do really good work. The workers are very good people. They are trustworthy. You don't have to follow them around to make sure they won't take anything. We had one worker, Elroy, who was here for 10-15 years, and he just passed away about a month ago. I felt like I could leave him the keys to my house; he was very trustworthy. I just renewed my annual contract.

They are excellent. What I really liked is that they always send me a postcard to check if I am ok with them coming out. When they leave, they give me an exact time as to what time they left.

As we were under contraction and with our contractors we didn't want him coming in to just spray. I would have to clean after wards and they couldn't walk in parts of the house so I dropped them. After I had requested that they not come, they would schedule appointments automatically and call to remind me that they had scheduled them without my permission. I was so frustrated because I was trying to keep them out of my house and so I cancelled their service. I would like to simply say that they are not considerate in having you postpone services; they are inconsiderate, overbearing and obnoxious. They had rescheduled without my permission after the last service to come and spray for termites outside which was a service we did not include. The man who came out and made the application was extremely nice but it was practices of the company itself insisting on making appointments for him. They make appointments and remind you that they had made them.
