Somerville Backflow

I submitted an appointment request and payment on Monday. By Tuesday afternoon the test was done. Price was less than half what my irrigation company charged last time and I had to wait weeks for them. I will definitely be using Somerville Backflow for my future tests.

OUTSTANDING. SAW has an annual requirement to test the Backflow Preventer. The testing was set up through their website and also pre-paid for the testing through their website. An e-mailed was sent that evening with an appointment the next day. Somerville Backflow will file the appropriate information with SAWS for me and send reminders for next year's service. The price was about $20-$40 less than other companies. This is an excellent service and very easy to set up. I highly recommend this company to my neighbors and anyone needing this service.

I tried unsuccessfully to have it repaired by a handyman, so I ended up calling a plumber, thinking it was something they could easily repair. They name out to give me an estimate,and to repair the part, I was quoted $825! The plumber said the repair would be expensive since they do not deal with Backflow, but urged me to check a Backflow company and perhaps they had a more reasonable cost. I already had an appointment with Somerville to inspect our backflow, Ronnie and Darlene came out that same day. Ronnie quickly diagnosed the problem and said he could repair it and would come back as soon as the part he needed came in and it would cost me about $30!! 4 days later, I got a call from Darlene saying the part was in and they would come by the next morning to do the repair plus do our annual inspection. The total cost of repair and inspection was $60.61. Somerville Backflow saved me $795!!! I highly recommend Somerville Backflow and they have a customer for life! Thank you Ronnie and Darlene!

Excellent customer service from a very friendly couple. They came the day after I called to schedule an appointment. They explained exactly what they were doing and offered a good suggestion about preventing future damage due to rust. Somerville Backflow will file the appropriate information with SAWS for me and send reminders for next year's service. I would definitely feel comfortable in recommending this company to anyone needing this service.

I have used Somerville backflow for 4 years straight and absolutely love this family team. A great price, I can pay online, they show up and do everything while I'm at work and the receipt is left under the mat at the front door. They file the report with the city. Done! How easy is that? They did a neighborhood deal for us and called ahead to get our SAWS backflow device number. I wasn't there for the inspection but they left a baggie with the bill under the mat with details of what was done. They were easy to work with and sounded nice on the phone. They submit all the paperwork for SAWS.

We have used Somerville for the last two years. Both times the provider has been out within a week of contacting him and does the job efficiently at a very reasonable price. He is also very honest - because we were a repeat customer he offered to refund us the $5 we overpaid for the job even though we were unaware we had overpaid.

I called and they came out as promised, they did the work as per our conversation, they are very professional and honest plus they had the best price around in my opinion. This is something that you don’t find with a lot of businesses today plus I will be using them in the future.

We were not present for the original test. However, when we returned home we noticed that a sprinkler zone would not shut off - even at the control box. We called him - it was 9:30 at night during the waning moments of the first NBA Finals game with our San Antonio Spurs and he hurried over with his wife - because he could not talk us through how to shut off the waterflow to the system. The truth is we are not very smart about these things and he fixed our problem despite the hours, the game, and the fact that it had nothing to do with his service earlier in the day. In addition, he refused payment! He could not have been nicer despite the fact that we were pretty stupid. I cannot recommend Ronnie more enthusiastically!!!!

What a great company. I didn't even have to be home. Certainly a great price and very timely and professional. I will absolutely schedule them again next year for my residential backflow prevention test required by the city.
