The front door insulation is so poorly applied you can see bright light during the day shining through the door edges. It was better before the service.

It took a long time to complete due to the extremely harsh winter, heavy spring rains and my busy schedule. In addition, Trevor had to order special weather stripping for garage door (at no additional cost). All the work is now complete and it was worth the wait. I am especially pleased with the new weather stripping on my French door replacing the old stripping my dogs had tore up!

They were maybe 15min late so not much when it comes to waiting for others. Laid plastic on all floors to avoid spills. Work took a little longer because rainy day. They took care of CPS rebate I had no problems. I was just waiting for email they promised so I can have copies of all paper work. Also never received follow up call about how it was going. We had discussed other things steps we could take such as dampeners for better circulation upstairs if it was not cooling properly. I could have called as well but I have been busy and always forgot. other than that very professional and cleaned up nicely.

Mr Forrest and his crew were very professional and helpful. They kept my house very clean by covering the carpets and wearing booties. His crew were very kind and stopped and took the time to explain the process and what was going on, with me. He was able to put off another project to be able to do mine the very next day. He filled out my CPS rebate paperwork for me. Mr Forrest is a very down to Earth person who I connected with and he didn't talk down to me and was able to answer all of my questions very promptly and accurately. He offered some of his other services if I needed them in the future.

They put some weather stripping in and looked around. After they did the weather stripping, the alarm system didn’t work properly. It really wasn’t worth it but they were nice people.

Forrest Elliott, the owner of the company, came out on 2/22/14 to give a bid. The bid for the removal was $1984 ($1 per sq ft.) - it actually was 1936 feet; while the bid for R50 blown in insulation was $1587. Total cost was $3571 minus a $250 Angie's list credit - thus $3321. I signed the contract and had the 30% deposit of $1075 charged to my American Express card. The removal started on 3/5/14. I allowed the $1984 charge rather than the $1936 one since there was a lot of insulation to remove. My HVAC company suggested I get batt insulation rather than blown in since the particulates would be considerably less - thus I asked Forrest to give a bid for batt insulation. He showed me a quote from Home Depot for 33 batts of R60 (retail -no discount) for $3080.71; I proceed to Lowe's and their quote is significantly less.....SO....DON'T TRUST THE FIGURES THIS COMPANY GIVES YOU FOR INSULATION AND INSTALL. On 3/10/14 I went online to check my Amex account and was totally surprised to find 3 UNAUTHORIZED charges from the company totaling $3383 ($1093, $1095 and $1195 - THE SINGLE CHARGE SHOULD HAVE BEEN $1075). I emailed Forrest to apprise him of the situation and he responded with that the office person had problems with the Amex credit card processor and that he would have her fix it. On 3/11/14 he emailed me that the processor had been giving error messages thus it was not known if the charge had gone thru, that he would reverse the charges that morning and would email receipts showing the reversals had occurred when Amex sent them and that the cleanup finish would be that afternoon. 3/17/14 Forrest emailed me that he would send the receipts from Amex as the office was working on it on Friday (14th) and should have the issue cleared up by the end of the day. 3/18/14 I asked when his crew would come out - "completely open on Monday" (24th) 3/20/14 Requested confirmation of time his crew would come - "9 to 9:30 if good for you" - it was 3/21/14 checked Amex account again - no reversal of charges. 6/16/14 I DISCOVERED AN ADDITION CHARGE OF $1095 MADE ON 3/4/16 - THUS 4 CHARGES - THE COMPANY DIDN'T BOTHER TO NOTIFY ME OF THE LAST CHARGE - A SAD COMMENT ON THEIR INTEGRITY. IT TOOK A LETTER WITH ALL SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS AND EMAILS TO THE CHAIRMAN AND CEO OF AMERICAN EXPRESS FOR THEM TO ADMIT THAT THEY GOT PAID FOR THEIR SERVICES BY CASHIERS CHECK. THE BELOW PROVIDER RESPONSE BLAMING AMEX FOR THE PROCESSING ERRORS AND ME BEING A DIFFICULT CUSTOMER ARE PURE BS. SO....LONG STORY ....SHORT ......BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! 6/10/14 Issue finally resolved by Amex 3/24/14 Response - should have been reversed - he related that they "changed credit card services and will update you in a couple of hours" ( did not); His son would be there at 9 to develop a plan to get the removal finished. His son did stop by only to look at what needed to be done (I understood that the REMAINDER of the removal would be done that day) and said he would call within the hour to schedule removal of remainder - did not . Related same to Forrest - response - out of town and not getting all emails - would call in the evening - no call.. I was notified that first available date for removal was Thursday 4/27/14 - they "changed credit card processing machine which made returns difficult to process - will check and get receipts to you. If not so by Thursday (27th) I'll write you a check or bring a cashier's check." 3/26/14 - no Amex reversals - I asked him to bring by cashier's check 3/29/14 - out of town - will get you a check - said that 2K had been taken out of his account - hoped it would show up in my account. 3/31/14 $600 cash + and postdated check dropped off - request to cash it on 4/8/14 4/8/14 did so - I requested bank to check if funds were available - they were not! Notified owner: Response "funds are pending in business account as of today and will be available tomorrow" "i can pull cash tomorrow and bring it to you and pick up the check. The check could have been deposited since we have overdraft protection so it would clear without a problem." 4/9/14 Notified owner I was disputing the 3 charges with Amex - nullified contract per Amex's suggestion - and blocked the account being able to be accessed by Rhino Energy Solutions (note: refunds would still be processed). 4/10/14 Bank informed him that no check had been presented and would have been paid if presented. "You can cash the check and I will send final receipts with a lien release." 4/10/14 I called the check verification # of the bank that evening - per bank" funds in the amount not available" . 4/11/14 disputed Amex charges were taken out of his account - he stopped payment on check - will be out of town till Monday p.m. - will bring cash and settle issue. 4/12/14 Told him I would have a cashier's check ready for him in the amount of $2559 ($1984 + the $600 cash referenced above) on Monday the 14th. 4/14/14 Cashier's check picked up. 4/15/14 Called Amex and informed them that the disputed charges would stay and that the project was paid in full by cashier's check. ALL OF THE ABOVE (4/15/14 excepted) IS DOCUMENTED BY EMAILS IN MY POSSESSION. SO ....LONG STORY SHORT ,,,,,MY CONCLUSIONS: 1)YOU CANNOT TRUST THIS COMPANY a)TO GIVE YOU A FAIR PRICE FOR INSTALLING INSULATION; b)TO DO THE INSULATION REMOVAL JOB RIGHT FROM THE START AND STAY TILL IT'S FINISHED, 2)NEVER, EVER, GIVE A DOWN PAYMENT OR GIVE THEM A CREDIT CARD NUMBER. 3)MY AMEX FUNDS WERE USED FOR????? 4)THEIR WORD IS NOT THEIR BOND - AS THE ABOVE MAKES ABUNDANTLY CLEAR. 5)PUNCTUALITY AND KEEPING CUSTOMER INFORMED AS TO ARRIVAL TIME IS VERY POOR. 6)YOU NEED TO STAY ON TOP OF THEM TO ENSURE JOB QUALITY. 7)THE ONLY GOOD NEWS IS THAT THE REMOVAL WAS COMPLETED. I purchased a deal for a complete attic energy and ventilation inspection with a free attic entry insulator. He came in and opened up the panel, spent a few moments looking around at it, and said that everything was ok. I did not receive the attic entry insulator.

They tried to sell me more stuff than I wanted.

The service was okay. I asked them to show up with a really tall ladder because we have tall two story house, and they did not. I don't believe I ever got them back to get the upstairs done. Overall they were good, but when the customer tells you to come with a tall ladder, you should. They didn't work hard to try to finish the work. I felt the price was very reasonable.

Showed up on time for the estimate and the installation. Team took care to not mess up the house, work took the promised time.

The arrived on time and did more than I expected.

It was a very good experience. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and they did it quickly. They did duct sealing for me and then I got more work from them. So I ended up spending probably another $1200. They were very prompt, courteous and they answered the phone. They returned phone calls, which was great. They just did good work.

They were very professional. Took before and after pictures so we could see the attic. Showed us the work they did to the doors and windows. The added insulation has improved our electric bills. There was no insulation over the garage. The garage is much better with temperature now.

They made it today and it was just wonderful. We had two other appointments but it was raining so they couldn't do the window part. We put it off until today. They were more than prompt. They were early and they cleaned up. They're very nice people. I didn't have to spend more than the big deal purchase. He even offered to come back but we needed to replace the door knob. He said to call when we replace the door knob and he would come back and adjust the door again. They were great. Their price was very good.

They came out on Saturday, gave a quote and said that if the work was done before the end of the year there would be a CPS rebate. They came by first thing Monday morning and installed the insulation. That afternoon someone came by to complete the rebate paperwork. Rebate started showing up on our CPA bill that February. Everything they said they would do they did.

They were very polite, very nice, very thorough in what they did, and did everything I've asked for.

I have a very low clearance in my attic, but Forrest was confident his crew could handle the job. Forrest and his crew were prompt and professional. After inspecting the ducts under the house, they advised me that there were holes in the plenum that connects the main air duct from the unit to the ducts under the house. They recommended replacing the plenum for around $300.00 (parts and labor). However, on the day of the job, they decided to repair the existing one. I protested a little because Forrest had seemed so sure that installing a new one was the best option. He explained that it wasn't possible to fit a new one or even build a new one under the house. Because of the misunderstanding, Forrest reduced his original quote. I appreciated that and would definitely recommend this company to friends and family. Thanks Forrest and crew!

Fan was installed in a professional manner. However, I have never actually observed it turning on as the weather cooled off shortly after installation. Maybe it just runs quiet but I can't honestly say it ever has been running or not. I have a second attic fan that is hard-wired electric and I always heard it when the weather was warmer. But this solar fan not at all. I need to get the installed to come once hot weather resumes and verify it does work. I am putting "N/A" for Quality and Responsiveness till I know for sure.

He did a great job and was a very nice young man. He fixed a loose door that others had not been able to fix for us. I suggest you read our coupon carefully and have it on hand. There are a limited number of windows and doors that are covered. He didn't realize that I had an older coupon that covered more doors and windows than the current coupon they were servicing.

The installation plugged up my HVAC unit that was in the attic. Cost me additional $$$ for cleaning and a new pump.

They were good. I had them blow more into my attic and I had to pay a little extra. Everything was good about them. I would use them again.

That worked out really well. We have 12+ year old home. I think the dogs have ripped up the insulation around the doors. He was thorough and went out to his truck to find ones for a better fit. He also went around all the windows for us with the caulking. After purchasing the deal, they called me to schedule the appointment.

I liked that he was on time, did his best to fix the doors for what problems I was having. My dislike is that my door leading into the garage was having trouble locking. He fixed it but it is not working again.
