Company was very prompt and super professional. They returned within 2 days of estimate, and finished job in one morning. Blew more insulation into attic, to bring it up to recommendations. Put tents over a/c systems. Very carefully removed everything from my attic prior to work. Then replaced it including some things I needed to put up there. Very accommodating. One problem -- they had to return to replace a light cam that popped out of place in the master bedroom. They did so promptly, and everything is great. They also prepared all reports for CPS to get credit due on work. Reports arrived with an envelope addressed to CPS! Very easy, and in the end, it only cost us half the original amount due to credit (we are now coasting with -0- CPS bills for a couple of months). Definitely a positive experience -- we're so glad we did this work we've been putting off.

Very professional company. Was on time for the initial inspection. The owner was more than accomodating and when I reminded him about the Angie's List discount, he had no problem applying the discount.They were on time to blow in the insulation. They cleaned up there mess and I was back to work within the hour.We did ask for an attic cover and it was ordered, but we decided against the cover since it was on backorder. Oh, and the bill we received had to be adjusted because of an error on the billing, but once my husband contacted the owner, he had no problem adjusting it to the correct and quoted amount.I would use them again in a heartbeat.

We received a 5% discount by being on Angie's List. They were very responsive. We had gotten a quote from somewhere else and were told we would need a radiant barrier. When Rhino Energy came in, they said that the way our attic was situated we did not really need that. We were happy to save that money. They gave us a quote in October and stuck with that quote in February. The overall experience was excellent. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

Forest responded to my request in more than a timely manner. He assessed the situation, gave me his recommendations and quote and I really appreciated that he did not try to sell me more than I needed. His men were out to do the work a few days later at a convenient time for me. They were professional and when done, cleaned up after themselves. Forest came by after his men completed their work and made sure that everything was to my satisfaction. Update: Paperwork is not a strongpoint for this company. It took me numerous voicemails and calls to the office person and Forrest to get my rebate paperwork. There were many responses, e.g. I was out of town, I'm behind with paperwork, will send it via email (never got it), will put it in the mail (didn't get it), will drop it by the house (finally got it after several times being told this). Work was performed 2/12 and after numerous attempts to get paperwork, got paperwork 3/29.

I had taken off work to meet with the individual at noon. At 12:30 I called because no one had shown up. The office seemed surprised that I was scheduled and said the repairman would be another 30 to 45 minutes late. An hour later the man called and asked if he could reschedule. He said he did not like to caulk when it was so humid. I said I did not want to take another day off so he said he could be here around 5:00. At 3:00 he showed up to do my doors and windows. He told me they had not told him about my appointment. I had made it over a week prior to this. He did a good job sealing windows and doors but I did not feel it was very professional. I love it when companies tell you how busy they are and don't consider that maybe you are too.

I called Rihno Energy based on the past report and evaluation in Angie's List. Forrest came for inspection and indicated to me that the insulation thickness has reduced but overall attic condition is in good shape and patiently explained what is needed to be enhanced and what is not required to be done. He recommended additional layer of Corning Owens insulation, repair any duct leak in the attic, and blow the ventilation pours at the roof edge around the house. Rihno completed the work in about 2 hours. He was very accomodative on schedule and performed the work without leaving any staines or damage to the house. I found Forrest and his men to be professional and efficient. Rihno also helped acquire CPS rebate for the task performed.

I called Forrest with Rhino Energy to come out and give me an estimate on attic insulation. my home is difficult to keep cool in the summer and is cold in the winter esp in the rooms facing west. Forrest arrived on time, was professional and informative in his estimate. He is friendly and allowed my playful Rottweiler to climb all over him... I thought the estimate was fair. Forrest made few suggestions re: radiant barrier placement and the status of attic turbines. I appreciate that he never pushed any of these services on me. We finally agreed that I will just add insulation at this time. Forrest and his crew returned the next day to perform the work. They were very professional and took time to introduce themselves. The work was done in 1 hour as my attic is not that big. They cleaned up well. and left without fuss. Within a few days, I have already noticed how much warmer all the rooms are. the hot and cold spots are practically gone. Can't wait to see my next few energy bills from CPS. Thank you much to Forrest and his crew for a job well done.

They came when they said they would, don't know if the work was well done. Couldn't get my Federal Tax Rebate since they couldn't send the proper paper work indicated the energy star rating. After the job was finished and I called, never called back.

The complete job was very good from start to finish. I would use this company again if I had to. They started when they told me that they would, took care of the problems with professional speed.

Crew and supervisor were on time; they introduced themselves; were extremely positive; took everything out of the attic and put it back, cleaned like they were never there, answered all of our questions; provided outstanding advice; responded to a last minute request - installed new thermostat; original estimate was adjusted during the job, saved us at least $200, professional advice was to wait and see how things go before installing an additional air vent... demonstrates honesty versus making a buck at the consumer's expense... don't see that every day ! Let me watch what they were doing... learned about the quality of the insulation they were blowing into the attic... the supervisor was on the job site and asked if we needed anything else concerning their work and the job they were doing for us. Would I hire them again - Absolutely - without a doubt ! My rating - AAA+++... SUPERB... THE BEST OF THE BEST ! If you don't hire this firm, you got it wrong !

I would definitely use him again. He was very, very good. They charged us for a couple of vents that they were going to put in but they didn’t; so we have a credit with him. We were going to use him again but he acknowledged that he didn’t do that and was willing to do that for us.

I'm torn about Rhino because the service leading up to and day of installation was outstanding. Forrest came by and we walked around and he gave me an estimate and also some pointers about what work would be best and what to not do. The estimate included all the work stated above, plus a electronic thermostat controller to be bought and installed through Rhino, and finally the 5% Angie's List coupon. Rhino worked with me on the date when it became obvious that other circumstances meant we had to move the date two days back. The workers were great and they cleaned up after themselves well and everything seemed perfect. I had to go to work halfway through the installation but my wife was present. Forrest left during the job as well. No problems except no one told my wife they were finished or offered to explain to her what was done. If they had she would have reminded them about the thermostat that wasn't present or installed. We decide we'll call about the thermostat and see if they can come back but as we look at the billing we notice they didn't include the thermostat that was present in the quote and also the 5% coupon wasn't applied, so we paid more than the quote. We called and we're told Forrest would call us back. No return call came, so we called again....no return call came, so by the time we called again and received a return call, I had ventured into the attic to look at the work. This is when I noticed the duct that is attached to the A/C unit wasn't attached any more. I added this to my call and Forrest came out and added duct tape around the duct and taped it to the unit. It never was taped, a nice strong zip-tie had been there before and the unit hadn't been cleaned before the tape was applied, so the tape had already pulled off by the time I looked at the work a couple days later, furthermore we still hadn't been repaid for being overcharged. It's been 3 months now and we are told a check is in the mail for the money we are owed. I'm tired of calling and this is the only reason I haven't made him come fix the duct again, since he obviously didn't care last time. I won't use them again. It seems as long as you haven't paid yet, the customer service is great, but if you have any problems after paying and the day of installation, it is impossible to get them to help.

I called this contractor because of the high rating on Angie's List. The work took place during the week of 100 degree weather. It was so hot in the attic that we agree with the owner to have the crew work 1/2 days. This company is exceptional. They kept to schedule, worked extremely hard in sweltering conditions and did an outstanding job. Armando, the main worker on our job was outstanding. The supervisor was also very attentive and made sure we were satisfied throughout the process. I would hire them again and encourage others to do so. The owner also came to the site and would have been there throughout but had pulled his back in an unrelated incident. Great company, great crews! Very neat and left the house and property clean.

They were great. They did a really good job. I would rate them high overall. Their price was excellent and their price was the best than others. They were on time and I had no problems with them at all. I would use them again in the future.

Rhino was superb. If we have any other problem, he’ll be the first one we call. He was punctual, sincere and professional. It was such a good experience. He was perfect! He was down-to-earth and easy to talk to. We got a quote from another company that we actually have regular service with. Their quote was 2.5 times more than his. He did more than they were going to do and did for only $1300. He came out on a Friday to give us a quote and he came out the next day to do the work because we were so eager to get the insulation put in.

I called the company for an estimate. I was able to schedule a date that worked for my schedule. Once I decided to hire Rhino to do the work, I was able to schedule the work on a Saturday which was perfect for my schedule. The work team arrived on time, laid down plastic drop cloths over everything. They completed the work in the time they had estimated (3-4 hours). They cleaned up after themselves; even cleaned off my front stoop which was the entrance they used to come and go while performing the work. When he came out for the estimate, the company rep noticed that a metal strip in my front door jam was loose and he tightened the screws on the day they came to perform the service. They also completed their portion of the CPS home efficiency rebate form and sent it to me so I could complete and submit it to CPS. Everyone I met with was professional and courteous. They were extremely neat and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them to anyone.

It was a great experience especially after the horrible one I had with Efficient Attic Systems. They were really quick to call me back. They told me about their products and the difference in the quality of products. They were really honest and more than fair. They were generous. A lot of people try to rip you off when you don't know about certain things but they went out of their way to make every effort to help me out with what I needed and still keep it affordable. They got here early and went right to work. They were friendly but professional. I think it took about a couple of hours overall but the time flew by and when they were done, they cleaned up after themselves and put everything back the way it was.

If we had another house to insulate, we would call Rhino Energy Solutions, as our upstairs living spaces are cooler by at least 10 degrees.
