We contacted Mr. Fix It and let the owner know that we got his name through Angie's List. He responded within 24 hours. He was prompt and dependable. His work was 100% compliant with the estimate. We would use him again. It was so nice to find someone who would take on a small job and complete it so professionally! His follow through was excellent.

He did excellent work, he was very thorough and meticulous. His personality was very nice to as he was a very calm guy. He listened to everything we had to say and always had answers for any of our questions. He was very pleasant to be around. The price was very reasonable as well.

Mr. Cook is a pleasant, dependable, hard worker who takes pride in a job well done. Much of his work for us had to be done in the hot sun with little or no shade. When he found wood ants under one window, he worked on a different project while we had a pest control company come out (four days later) to treat the house. He took care to clean up after his work. We were delighted with the results of his effort and we highly recommend him.

I think he's wonderful. He's very polite, prompt, seems to be very honest and does good work. Do not remember job cost.

John Cook showed up on time to give us the estimate and on time both days that he worked on the ceiling. He thought he would remove the loose parts and then repair the popcorn ceiling. But once he started, almost all of the ceiling was loose and needed to come down. He ended up taking the whole ceiling down to the wall board. He taped and draped the whole bathroom before he started. He reapplied the texture and came back the next morning early to prime and paint the ceiling. He was on time every time, cleaned up all the mess and stuck to his estimate even thought it was more work than he originally thought. We requested he fix a door that was sticking. He insisted on carrying it down stairs and outside to cut the little bit needed as it would be a smoother fix and less mess in the house. When we asked how much extra to add to the check for the door, he said no charge as he would have been there anyway waiting for the primer to dry. We will definitely use him again.

We have used John Cook over a period of nine years since we relocated to San Antonio, so naturally he was and is our first choice for any work that we need done. He did a very professional and eye-pleasing job on the construction of our deck. He is conscientious, skilled and reliable. The work was completed in a very timely manner and we are very satisfied.

John Cook came out for an estimate and prepared his bid promptly. He proposed a start date two weeks out and stuck with it. He always arrived on time and fully prepared for the tasks of the day, and worked steadily all day from 8 til 5. He always did what he said he would do. I only changed my mind twice (on minor things) and he was very accommodating. On a daily basis he always had a goal in mind and generally achieved it--therefore he was able to stay on schedule. He was so trustworthy, I left him alone in the house on numerous occasions. He was very capable in being able to fix anything in an efficient manner. He's a very diligent and hard working individual.

Mr. Cook was always polite, punctual, and quite trust-worthy. It was so nice to have someone in my home with me and my two children and not have to worry about our comfort or safety. He also never left me wondering what was happening on his end. When he found a door to suit our needs he contacted me right away, and ordered it. When the door arrived, he picked it up himself and called me right away to say it was here and set up a time to put it in, instead of leaving me wondering for days what was going on on his end. He always returned phone calls promptly and was clear on what he was going to do and what he needed from me. I would highly reccomend him for any job!
