JD Smarthome

Very pleased with the quality of work and the special return trips to answer questions, help configure the smartphone app and DVR. Also the price was more than affordable. Called around to some of the big brands and they wanted 3-5X the price to install as well as monthly service fees and a 3-5 year contract! Not JD Smarthome, they have no contracts or monthly service fees. Security cameras have a great quality picture and work effortlessly with the simple fully functional mobile app. I would recommend and use again.

We first contacted JD back in May 2014 when we were in need of some TV's being wall mounted and they did a great job working with our stone fireplace and was not easy, nerveless JD did what he said and for how much he said. We then contacted JD in April 2016 to set up our camera system and again gave us the greatest service and equipment we could find, he followed up by doing a addition to our security system several months later at a nominal fee.

He was great, actually. He was quick and quiet and made sure to show me how everything worked. I don't know the general going rate for this but I thought it was a little price-y for a smaller job, although, I would pay it again to have the same respectful service.

On time appointment. Fast, efficient service. Great looking mount and great job running wires inside wall. Would highly recommend these guys again. Fantastic job.

Provider showed up with his assistant and discussed with my husband where the t.v. was to be installed on the outside wall. Once this was determined, my husband wrote a check for the installation and left to go back to work. When I returned home from work and looked at the t.v., I noticed that it was not where I wanted it installed. My husband also agreed that they did not go up far enough above the trim of the window, as discussed before he left. I called the provider a couple of days later expressing my concern regarding the placement on the wall, as I do not like looking out my large picture window and seeing the bottom of the t.v. when looking outside. He seemed a little irritated, but agreed to come back out and raise it to the height I wanted. I told him it wasn't necessary to rush out and do the work, especially since the holidays were coming up. I followed up with him twice since our first phone conversation (via text message and a phone message), but have not heard back from him. So, unfortunately, this was not a good experience for me with this company. I will never use them again, and I will never recommend them to family, friends, or co-workers.

JD installed my tv and it came out better than expected. no wires can be seen, and in my opinion did more than just the basic package that i ordered. Even offered to re mount a tv in a different room that had been mounted wrong by a previous contractor. will defiantly use again if needed

After a few discussions, JD and crew showed up and gave a very detailed overview of work to be performed. This was followed by setting an initial day of work (of my choice) and a subsequent day in case it ran over (which it did). There was no additional charge for the extra work as the cost of service covered that so no hidden surprises. Took a bad experience and make it stellar hence my updated review. Thanks JD!

I would highly recommend JD Smarthome for tv mounting. With his eye for detail and knowledge, I would use him for any services he provides. He showed on time. Had all necessary equipment needed. Explained every question I had, in great detail. There might be larger, more familar companies. But, with JD customer-oriented attitude, I can see his company growing rapidly. Please give this small business a try. You will be glad you did. Their customer service is second to none. Did I mention? Jd is just a heck of a nice guy. Thanks again JD.
