Description of Work: I called to inquire about hiring them to perform regular lawn maintenance. The first call, I got an answering machine. I left a message giving my name and phone number asking them to call about lawn service. No one called back. I called again In a week and got a person who told me they were very busy and someone would call to make an appointment the beginning of the next week. No one called. I gave up

Description of Work: for many years I used Cut Rite for lawnscaping and biweekly yard maintence, for the first many years Billy Hovestadt was like family then it started falling apart. If there is a problem i.e. cutting back plants that I requested not to be cut then he wouldn't take your phone calls or would get upset with you. The lady that runs the office was wonderful and would do everything to get Billy to respond to the client but Billy being Billy he wouldn't Not to go into everything that happen I requested Cut Rite to bid on some landscaping that I wanted done last year, He then told me that it wouldn't be worth his time because I wasn't going to spend enough money. Now understand when he was telling me this his company owed me $400.00 I decided at that time it was time to end my relationship with Billy and Cut Rite. For several months I and his office staff tried to get Billy to talk with me and return my $400.00 Till this day I have not heard from Billy or seen my $400.00

 + 7 moreOUTSTANDING - hire this company for all your lawn work. Crews are professional and dedicated to seeing the job done right the first time. I have worked with Cut Rite over the past 2 years -- they are fair, honest, and reliable. Bimonthly lawn service, including treatments/fertilization, keeps my lawn looking great. I have also used Cut Rite for tree service, landscaping, irrigation, and lighting. This past week, the crew was at my house landscaping my entire side yard - new sod, metal edging, new plants/shrubs and trees, rewiring landscape lighting, redirecting current irrigation system, making a pathway using flagstone pavers. They go above and beyond. You will not find a better Lawn Management service. Billy and his entire team work hard for their money and in making the customer happy!!

Description of Work: CutRite now provides lawn maintenance for us. We used Cut Rite for a complete make over in our backyard. Billy and his crew did a phenomenal job creating our dream backyard. We had landscaping put in, sprinkler system, new grass, lighting and lots more to complete our paradise. I now use Cut Rite for our full lawn service. You can depend on Cut Rite to do the job!

 + 3 moreExcellent service. Very professional and polite. Have used Cut Rite for 13 years. You may be able to find a company who is a bit less expensive, but in this case, you get what you pay for. The company is prompt, effecient and delivers quality work. I have also used them to do some smaller landscaping jobs in our yard (the major landscaping was put in when the home was originally built) and for relatively small dollars, the changes that Billy (the owner) designed and his team implemented made a BIG difference. Highly recommend.
Description of Work: Bi Monthly Lawn service, including leaf pick up and trash removal. Provider also also provided landscape design and landscape implementation.

He went the extra mile making sure everything looks immaculate which was very important to us since we are selling our home. The price was extremely fair and I would high;y recommend Cut-Rite to anyone looking for an "ALL INCLUSIVE" lawn maintenance service at a fair price.
Description of Work: They trimmed back all my hedges, small trees, and ivy in the front and back yard. Along with cutting my grass, edging, pulling weeds, putting mulch back caused by the recent heavy from rains. Excellent work!

 + 2 moreIt went very well. It took some time to get started as it was a time of year when everyone was wanting work done. Cut Rite was the 4th landscaping company I contacted and were the first to call me back and come by to look at our yard and give me an estimate. Mike listened to what I had to say (having had many false starts in the landscaping of our yard by others) and responded to what I said I needed done. Once the work commenced, they moved fast & completed the job in a timely manner. I have had a ton of complements on the front bed and rock wall. I have also contracted them for yard maintenance this summer and they have done a very good job with the yard and keeping the beds cleaned.
Description of Work: They planted a couple of trees in our backyard, did spring yard clean up & weed kill, and redid one of our flower beds. The renovation of our flower bed required removal of all existing plants and dirt, redesign of the shape of the bed, construction of new stone wall, and planting of new plants.

 + 2 moreIt was a pleasure to deal with Billy and all his staff. They showed up when they said they would, did their work, checked it out and cleaned up after they were done. There was a small incident that was quickly corrected and the sprinkler technician even left his personal cell number in case anything else came up. I have used Cut Rite for mulching, topsoil, tree trimming, sprinklers, etc. I have always been very happy with their work and will use them again and again as the need arises.
Description of Work: They checked out the system, repaired and installed new heads and box. This system is so much better than what we had. The grass looks great.

 + 0 moreThey truly do a very good job - both the work itself and the cleanup. The crews are friendly and professional and always willing to do what you ask. I appreciate that they know the plants and trees and are able to offer suggestions on what is best for trimming, etc. Nicole in the office is super pleasant to deal with and strives to keep things on track and the customer happy. My only (slightly) negative is that I have had to remind the crews on several occassion which plants need trimming - I'd prefer not to have to do that repeatedly. Other than that, they are very good and great to work with.

Description of Work: Cut Rite Lawn Management was one of the most professional, honest and friendly businesses I have ever worked with. The price was a little higher than I planned on spending- but in the end I have a beautiful backyard that my family and I enjoy everyday! The customer service is superior from the personnel in the office to the crew that worked on the project. Cut Rite turned our backyard into our "oasis". Billy and his team worked to create the dream backyard by installing grass, several trees (crepe myrtles, wax myrtles, Japanese blueberry) to give us a little more privacy, new sprinkler system, crushed granite, lighting and beautiful mixture of palms, flowers and beautifully filled pottery around the yard to make it a great finish. Billy and his team are very passionate about what they do and you can see this in the end product. Billy is a very hands on owner- one who will see that the customer is absolutely happy with the end product of the project and to ensure the project is delivered on time.

I would recommend others to get everything that they negotiate in writing and make sure the price includes everything that one wants them to do it for them.
