Great job, great talent.

Kevin came and gave us an estimate in late March. He walked the 1/3 acre yard with us and then came back later to sketch his plans for both front and back yards. Once we received the estimate, we wanted to start right away, but he was busy until early May. We agreed to start the first week of May, but they ended up coming a week later because the prior job ran long. The crew worked hard and was very respectful of our property, although the first day one of the workers left chicken bones in the yard, which our dog got into. We ran into problems with the sprinkler system (which we had been told by a sprinkler guy was fine), so Kevin developed a plan to add heads and reconfigure the zones. It added a little to our final cost, but the charge was reasonable and the work was able to be completed before the sod was laid. The whole project took about 8 working days, including one Saturday when two guys came out to work on the sprinkler. We asked for low maintanence, deer resistant plants for the beds and heat tolerant grass. Kevin gave us what we requested, and when some of the bedding plants in the front were eaten by deer five days after they were planted, he came out and replaced them with different plants. Three months and one of the driest summers in a long time, we had one issue with the sprinkler, which Kevin came out and fixed, and we have had a couple of plants die. Kevin came out and walked the yard with me and agreed to replace the plants when it finally cools off. Overall, I enjoyed working with Kevin and his guys. His price was fair and once the project started, they worked solid until it was completed. It is sometimes hard to get in touch with Kevin, and it may take a while and a couple of emails to hear back from him, but we would definitely consider Botanical Design for another job.

I have used Botanical Designs several times in the past. I contacted Kevin via e-mail and told him things that I would like checked out. In general I am not in a rush to get things done and have told Kevin to work me in to his schedule as is convenient for him. We met in person to discuss my desires, he gave me some alternatives, cost estimates and we moved forward. It is interesting for me to come home and find something done and then later get an e-mail tellling me what has happened. There are no bills till the work is completed.

They did a really good job. They replaced a bunch of plants. They cleaned out our pond and worked on the filters. They put some flowers and they put in mulch and some saw. They did quite a bit of work. The owner is Kevin and he is a very nice guy and very knowledgeable. The crew was very good. They did the work with out me even being at home. The work was just great. I would use them again. I thought their prices were good. I felt they were very knowledgeable about types of plants and willing to work on the pond as well as the plantings.

I contacted Botanical Designs and Kevin McCormick came to my house within a few days. Kevin listened to what I had to say and gave good recommendations for plants, including keeping some existing ones he thought were nice and should stay. Kevin suggested changing the shape of my small "annual" flower garden to make it more graceful. He suggested adding a tree to shade a very hot, dry area in our front yard. He moved some of my existing plants and balanced the blooming color in the landscape. He picked up on my likes and dislikes, and made some great suggestions for new plants. Within a few days he brought a landscape design and an estimate to the front door. We went over the details and refined the plan. Botanical Designs went right to work and worked through the late June rainstorms. They cut some trees down early so that we could save money by getting our brush on the curb before the city's brush pick-up deadline. When they were finished, they did an excellent job of cleaning up our sidewalk and driveway. Our final estimate was a little higher than our original because we decided on a more expensive river rock and the job took a little more rock than was estimated. I found Botanical Designs to be very honest business people.

It was excellent. He did a fantastic job. He arrived on time, followed up quickly, and was always available to us. We have recommended him to others.

Gave complete estimate before beginning. Provided detailed plan/layout to include location of plants and the plubming for the springler system. No requirement for any payment upfront. Stayed within budget and completed when promised; I was in no rush and my timeline was flexible; however, from start to completeion was less than one week. Biggest delay was the time it took for receipt of the bill.

It was very smooth, we met twice on my request, he was punctual and was generous with his time. He made creative recommendations and in the end did more than what was required. I am greatly grateful for an excellent job. Thanks Kevin!

From the beginning from the estimate, layout design, to the completion of the project, progress was slow and work poorly supervised. Owner/manager was rarely on site to monitor work, did not have a person of responsibility on site, and was not responsive to our complaints on progress and quality of work. Botanical Designs came to us highly recommended by a close friend, but never came close to performing at an acceptable level or at the level described to us by the friend who recommended them. The work was done several years ago and perhaps Botanical Designs has made crew changes and improved their service. I still have to qualify my evaluation with let the buyer beware. Best part of the work performed was the tree moving and that was done by a subcontractor. A number of the recommended plantings proved intolerant to the location in which they were planted and either did not do well or died out within one to two years.

I found him to be extremely knowledgeable.

The landscape company has done a fantastic job. They have done the best job I have ever had done by a landscape company. I honestly can't remember their charges, but it was around $3000.00. Their price was great. They were much less than their competition. Everything was fantastic. They did exactly what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. They were very professional.

Their work was excellent and I was well pleased with the solution they gave us for the tree. I was worried when they were working on the tree that they would damage the flower beds but there was no damage at all and they hauled everything away. They had reasonable prices for the work they did.

BOTANICAL DESIGN DID A VERY GOOD JOB IN OUR SPRINKLER SYSTEM. THE CREATIVE DESIGN ON THE LANDSCAPE WAS GREAT. THEY USED MANY NATURAL ITEMS TO ADD TO THE DECOR OF THE LAWN.
