GREAT! My truck was making a squealing noise and they found a crack in my belt due to the tensioner locking up. I was in and out of there the same day at a great reasonable price. I highly recommend them due to the fastest turn around time I ever had and not to mention the cheapest price around that area.

GREAT SERVICE!! Being It was New Years Eve my car started overheating and as everyone I had plans and was not about to have them ruined. I got on my phone and started googling and found Auto Service Experts had THE BEST reviews. I had my neighbor fill my car up with fluid and drove there slowly. With my luck the hose that was busted was sold only through the dealer and was hard to get same day. They went out of their way and had someone drive to the dealer on the other side of town just so they could get me out of there in the same day. Oh thank God for them I had a great New Years stress free.

I called my brother & explained to him what had happened. He brought tools to check it out. He checked the battery & it was dead. I had bought it this past February at Sears. He jumped the battery & it worked beautifully. He then tested it individually with the alternator of both his & my car. The electrical system in his car was fine, then he checked it against my alternator & you could see that something in the electrical system of the alternator was quickly draining my battery because the voltage regulator on the gaget was decreasing pretty fast. He jumped my battery long enough so I could get to my home 4 blocks away. I had it towed to Auto Service Experts the next morning. I told the mechanic the whole story. After waiting about 4 hours, I was told my battery was dead. I requested to see the mechanic in person. He, instead, spoke to me on the phone. I could not convince him otherwise. I was really upset. I asked to have a tower called so I could have it taken to Sears. I rode with the tower & we arrived at Sears at 4:45 P.M. Please note that I had taken the car early in the morning to the "Experts". My brother had it diagnosed within 45 minutes. At Sears, they checked the battery & said it was fine, but they removed it & charged it for 45 minutes & meanwhile, they placed another battery in my car. It was drained steadily. The mechanic said it involved something in the car's electrical system but they weren't equipped to find the source. They were very courteous & kept me informed every step of the way. My brother replaced the alternator the next day in a matter of minutes. My car is running smoothly! When I have a Toll free number with the same area code as mine on the caller ID, I always called them back & leave a message as to why they had called me. Late that evening, my message was answered & when I delightfully discovered that he was the owner of the "Experts", I informed him of the happenings. He listened attentively, apologized & said he would talked to his employees in the morning. I explained Angie's List to him & that I am rating his employee's performance as an "F" & that Angie's List personnel will be in contact with him.
Description of Work: After a short warning from the alarm, my car died.

Our most recent experience at Auto Service Experts had to do with a 1997 Blazer that spent its first 9 years on the icy, salty roads of Wisconsin. Carlos diagnosed a differential gasket leak when the Blazer leaked a mysterious oily fluid all over the street all night. He also noted extensive rust on the undercarriage of the Blazer and told me that any future repairs would likely be expensive due to the rust. He was right; we had a number of issues with the Blazer over the next few months, all exacerbated by the rust. Finally, Carlos advised me that if it was his vehicle, he'd get rid of it rather than put more money into it. When the differential itself failed, requiring a rebuild, and the brake master cylinder also failed, we took his advice. He diagnosed both of those problems at no charge and gave us an estimate, which I compared with another shop. Auto Service Experts came in $600 less than the other shop. Nevertheless, we decided that it was time to let the Blazer go. I appreciate Carlos' straightforwardness and his willingness to work with us to keep that vehicle running, and I have no qualms about taking our other SUVs to Auto Service Experts.
Description of Work: Auto Service Experts has performed a variety of services and repairs on three SUVs we owned. They have done everything from regular oil changes to new brake pads to scheduled major services to replacing a differential gasket. I have compared their prices with other shops and find Auto Service Experts to be very fair and oftentimes much lower than the competition.
