The man that did the work paid attention to detail, doing a very good job. Work was cdompleted to my satisfaction with complete cleanup as well

They showed up early... awesome.... I had a rotted wooden post and another area where my fence had fallen away from another post. They reinforced my rotting post with another post, concreted into the ground! They completely fixed the other area of the fence that was no longer attached to a post. Then they went around my entire yard and inspected my fence. Anywhere they found it loose they added a few screws into it. Talk about going above and beyond. What a great company this is and I will not hesitate to contact them in the future and brag about them at work and in my neighborhood!! It's really nice to know that companies such as Alamo Handyman still exist out here.

They did a really good job. They installed an electrical outlet. They were professional and on time.

I am extremely pleased with Alamo Handyman LLC! They were right on time as scheduled, and maintained their pace in order to finish on time, without taking any shortcuts in their work! Their men came to my home to assess their job duties, take specific measurements, then left to make the proper purchases necessary for the repairs, then returned and promptly began the work. I received a call from my son telling me they were finished with everything and asking to be paid, however I did not want to until I had looked at the work myself. Alamo Handyman LLC had no problem with my want for this, and contacted me the following day. There was one issue that had been mistakenly overlooked, however, the company sent men immediately to take care of the job that very day! I have never been happier with a company like this one!!!

The job went very well! I specifically asked for Carl Graves (and his son who is his helper) to do these jobs because of the great work they did for me before. They completed these jobs over the course of 1 1/2 days. They were polite, professional and everything looks great. I am very pleased with the work they did and would hire again. My only complaint this time is again the overall costs, which is not the fault of the contractors of course. I'm sure I could have had these jobs done for much cheaper if I'd bothered to take other bids. However I called this company again because I knew the quality would be high.

It took a couple of tries to get the correct doggie door. They had to go thru 2x6 walls with a brick exterior. That meant getting a 9 1/2 inch hole. But they saw to it that it was done correctly. It's nice when the provider doesn't accept OK. GOOD COMPANY

Very professional estimator, great follow up, punctual, quality about a B. The only thing that bothered me was when it came to pay, they said I need to charge for another couple of hours or $150. Really feel this was a rip off and left a bad taste in my mouth. I thought the for done was expensive when you added the additional money they asked for. I paid it but it still bugs me. I don't think I would use them again because of this issue.

Not well. This was the second time we used Alamo Handyman. The first time was great. This time we were not happy. The tile work was shoddy and had to be redone. The plumbing leaked and damaged the ceiling in our kitchen. Probably my biggest complaint was the scheduling. They said the work would take about a week, but the shower door and counters had to be manufactured after the work was started. We did not know this, but they certainly did and should have told us that after a couple of days of work there would be a delay while the counters and door were being made. We didn't learn this until the work was started. I would have been much happier knowing from the start how long it would really take. To their credit, they fixed everything we asked. However, if they told me before hand that we'll get it right, but it will take a couple of tries, I think I would have found someone else. I will not use them again.

The Estimate: I made the appointment about 2 weeks out. Brian Thibault showed up on time and discussed with me at length the several different jobs I need to have done and told me I would receive an email estimate later that day. He was polite and professional. This went fine. The Work: Carl Graves and his helper arrived on time and completed the work efficiently and fast. Carl clearly knows what he is doing and everything went well. He and his helper were polite and friendly but still remained professional. In addition, I very much appreciated not being talked down to, or condescended to because I am female as has happened with many other male contractors in the past. Complaints: My only complaints are with the admin staff. They are friendly enough but there was some confusion about my estimate. First I had to call and ask about it was as I had not received it after a few days. Then when I requested a break down of the jobs by price I happened to notice the 2nd estimate was a few hundred dollars more than the first. I had to called the office and asked why. The explanation I received made sense, however I should have been made aware of this price increase by the office rather than them wait for me to discover it. Finally, I did not receive the typical courtesy 'appointment reminder' call a day or two before the work was scheduled which I found odd and mildly annoying. I called them the morning of my appointment to confirm they were still coming. Perhaps this company doesn't provide this service but in my opinion they should. Price: Seems a bit overpriced. That said though, I am very happy with the high quality of the work done and will hire again.

He took my idea and did exactly what I wanted. They were friendly, professional, and my dog in the backyard wasn't even afraid of them. I was extremely pleased with them and would recommend them for anything.

I had a horrible experience with Alamo Handyman. I called to schedule an apt to get a quote for some fence repairs done. They stated that they would need to call me back to schedule an apt. I got a phone call after hours that day to schedule the apt. The next day I got a call from another company stating that they worked with Alamo Handyman and that Alamo Handyman contacted him because they were too busy. I discussed the work with him, and he stated he had MY ADDRESS. Not only did Alamo handyman give out my number without asking, they also gave out my address. I called Alamo Handyman and discussed this with their office to confirm this guys credibility and how it worked, and things were not adding up. Needless to say, I will NOT ever recommend or use Alamo Handyman because they did not ask me if I wanted others to do the work, NOOR did they let me believe they were too busy to handle my work because they had Scheduled my apt. I felt the need to confirm my Apt while on the phone with them, and they actually lost my Apt time and could not get me in at a reasonable time.

This is the third time I've used Alamo Handyman and they did an awesome job in my bathroom remodel. I had already gutted it so they came in and put in in-floor heating, new tile, new tub and tiled walls, drywall, etc. I am very, very satisfied with the work and will definitely call on them in the future.

We could not do the project because doctors and family felt husband could not handle the proposed steps carefully. I would hire Mr. Chapa and this company in a heartbeat. He was professional, but also so helpful, considerate and kind.

He is professional when speaking with you, but unfortunately, he is not timely giving the estimates. I thought the first time I contacted him it was a fluke that it took so long to get the estimate. When I tried to get an estimate the second time, the evaluation was done on Monday and the estimate was promised by Wednesday. As of Saturday, we still have not received the estimate. Maybe I do not understand how long it takes to receive an estimate, but I do expect a curtsey call or email if a deadline is given and will not be met.

Only seven rocker switches were completed halfway through the job. So asked him to focus on the drapes instead. They were completed but I only had him put one set of drapes since it was getting close to the three hours. He went over the three hours and told me he would put up the living room drapes and not charge me, but I was already frustrated and just wanted it to be over. When the job originally started, I asked him to focus on the rocker switches. It didn't start out very smoothly since the first switch was difficult to find the breaker switch to turn off the power to it and I thought he was going to just push forward with a live wire. I told him he could just turn all of the breaker switches off to ensure nothing happened to him. i did forget to ell him about the dimmer switches and unfortunately, he had to redo one of the switches.

The written estimate was somewhat vague and I had to have them clarify it. The man performing the work missed a couple of rotted areas and came out to fix it after I had made a phone call to the office. I was happy with the response until afterward I noticed that he had used bondo and paint to fill-in/cover-up the missed area. I also noticed bondo used on another piece of siding as well. After all was said and done, there were paint drops on my concrete entry, paint drops on the roof shingles as well as some paint blobs. In addition I noticed tiny pieces of insulation sticking to the shingles and small pieces of wood/debris scattered on the ground. The supervisor didn't even come out to look over the work, I feel like I was taken to the cleaners.$2800 paid and I should have gotten so much more for it. Lesson learned, customers beware.

It was excellent. He was A plus. We would use them again. I would say A on the price 'cause we searched around.

I thought he was fabulous. He got right down to business and got everything done.

Very professional from the scheduling, to the estimate, to the workmanship through invoicing and payment. They did a great job!

There are a few things that are particularly great about Alamo Handyman, they were willing to come to Boerne & they did OUTSTANDING work. We manage AA Self Storage and we needed a door in the family room to go out on the patio & deck. We had a window where we wanted it. We initially asked about a patio door but when Brian came out, he convinced us that a regular door would be more cost efficient. Now friends, that is opposite behavior I am accustomed to dealing with. I was concerned because of all the Steel wall construction on the exterior. My fears were silly, they were professional, efficient and CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES...OMG what more could one desire. Oh I know, the cost of the finished product was about what we would have spent on the other door. Lastly, we now need the rear steel walls taken down, the middle support poles and the floor angle iron removed in 12 units making the units double their current size. Alamo Handyman to the rescue. I like them enough I'm using them again.

Alamo responded within a few hours but couldn't schedule until a couple weeks later for a consult. The scheduler we responsive and very courteous. If I had the time I would have gone with Alamo just based on my interactions with the scheduler!

They never returned my calls or emails.

It went great. He arrived on time and gave opinions about all work before performing. Went to store to purchase supplies required.

The handyman was prompt, courteous, articulate and professional. I felt 100% at ease during the quoting process as well as during the time of service. This company did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it, and they even said "please" and "thank you". We are grateful for service they provided our family.
