I called Don to get a quot for wallpapering my master bath (that had been prepped and was ready to go) . he came within the week to do the job. his price was better than anyone else Ii had spoken to about the job. Don was punctual and was very efficient. He finished the bathroom and 1/4 of my dining room in 4 hours...amazing. Will for sure use him in future projects

Don arrived promptly. He brought into the house all his tools he would need. Proceeded to remove the wallpaper followed by misting the walls to remove the papery residue adhering to the wall. After that was done he smoothed out the wall with spackling. Waited while having a oscillating fan blow on the walls. Once dry, he applied the primer paint. Don was very precise in cutting into the edges producing a very clean edge. After an hour of drying he applied the selected paint for the kitchen and laundry room. I am very happy with the outcome. I recommend D & D Wallpapering.

He did a good job. He was quick and affordable. He talked a lot, but still did the job rather well.

mr. Drifters arrived on time and was pleasant and professional. He assisted me in removing some large paintings and decor from the top of the cabinets.

It went even better than I had hoped. Getting all that old wallpaper off was a huge challenge that was met. The results were excellent. It took a long time to get the whole job done and the man who did the job worked steadily until he finished.

Called Donald on Wednesday or Thursday and he was able to come on Saturday morning. He arrived right on time and was ready to get to work. Very nice man and the room couldn't look better. There were some difficult corners and edges to work with but that's why I hired a professional. I will definitely hire him again. Afterward he even helped my husband lift the new toilet out of our truck. Thanks again Donald.

Arrived on time. Hung the grasscloth wallpaper on a large wall that included a stairwell. Required hanging the wallpaper while on a ladder about 17 feet high with a slanted cieling to trim around. No crown moulding so the paper had to be very precisely trimmed at the top and the wall is old and not very sqaure anymore so it's very uneven. Don did great, even with all these factors to work around. He did a perfect job trimming around the wall plugs and cieling, the seems are all completely aligned, there are no stains from the glue anywhere. When I requested a change to wrap the wallpaper around a corner, Don did not hesitate, peeled the paper off and rehung it. You can tell he has years of experience. I will do the grasscloth in a couple more rooms since I now have someone that can hang it competently. Completely satisified.

We hired D & D Wallpapering to remove old wallcovering, prep the walls and install new wallcovering in the corridors, lobby and restrooms of a 2-story, commercial building in Plano. Prior to requesting a written proposal for the scope of work we needed, I asked Mr. Driggers (the sole proprietor of the company) if he worked on commercial buildings and he confirmed that he does indeed do a lot of commercial work. D & D Wallpapering submitted the lowest of three bids and that, along with all of the glowing reviews on Angie's List, was the primary reason his bid was approved. Our new wallcovering was special ordered and in the mid-grade price range. It is a nice, neutral vertical stripe (with an almost grasscloth-like appearance) and the bolts were all numbered with instructions to hang them in numerical order with a "reverse roll" on every other bolt. This wallpaper should have been relatively easy to hang. Mr. Driggers had to perform all of the work after-hours and on weekends due to the building being almost fully occupied with Tenants and I must say, even though he did a very poor job, he put in many hours and worked diligently. He is also a kind, pleasant man and kept the building and his workspaces extremely clean. The worst part of the job - which as of this morning was mutually terminated by both parties - was the wall prep after removal of the old wallpaper. It's really, really bad. The worst any of us have seen in a commercial building and we collectively have a total of over 30 years of experience in the Commercial Property Management industry. Even Mr. Driggers admitted this was a poor job and he bit off more than he could chew by accepting this job. Now we are in the awkward position of having to hire another wallpaper contractor to fix anything that's "fixable" without having to re-do the work entirely and notify our Tenants that this work will take longer than we originally stated. I cannot speak for D & D's performance on small areas or in homes, but for commercial jobs I would never recommend this company.

It went well. Took a little longer than expected because of some problems on my part. He was very flexible with my hours. He went above and beyond to get the job done.

I trust Don. He is a honest hard working man who has a skill set beyond wallpaper and paint. He shows up when he says he will, works hard, offers sound advice and as I said, I trust him... more than any contractor I have ever worked with. An example of the kind of guy he is: while Don was working in the kitchen, an electrician came to install a ceiling fan which required sawing into the ceiling to install a new junction box; it was a mess and although the electrician got his job done (ie: he got the fan installed) there was a gaping hole which required repair and re-painting...Don took care of it and did not charge me. I highly recommend him!

He came out, provided an estimate, papered the room and left quickly. The simple fact that he even showed up would be enough to get a passing grade, but getting the job done quickly and efficiently makes him an A+ in my book.

His standard for repair and texturing of the dry wall was not adequate. Once painted the repairs would have been evident which was not exceptable. He offered to keep working on it but I lost confidence that he could do the work. I let him go paying him about $200 which was about a third of the total estimate. We never got to painting so I can not comment. I hired another company that charged me more due to what D & D Wallpapering had done to the dry wall than if I had hired them to start.

Very prompt and courteous. Diagnosed the problem with the last wallpaper application (didn't stick). Resized wall and rehung new paper. Was in and out in a couple of hours. Only real problem was that one vertical edge was a quarter inch short. When I touch up the paint I will cover it and it won't be seen. Would highly recommend.

After getting two quotes, decided to hire D&D since they were almost half the cost. I questioned the quote for six rolls of paper because the other company quoted eight rolls. I knew it could be done with six rolls if placement was carefully considered to eliminate waste. He said I could order eight rolls if I wanted to play it safe. I decided against it, since it would add to the cost of the paper. It was nail-biting close towards the end, but he completed the job with the paper at hand. It looks beautiful! Don is the owner and does his own work. I couldn't believe how perfectly matched the seams and corners were, if I had ordered the extra two rolls all four corners would be seemless, however for the cost difference Don & I will probably be the only ones who will notice. He confessed that he made an error in his estimate and that the job should've been bumped up to eight rolls and that he will be careful to double check his measurements next time. To his defense the timing of the two companies somehow migrated together and they were both working on measuring and estimating the job at the same time. Frustrating...oh well. His advice on removing the old wallpaper helped me out. The paper just peeled off in sheets, the hardest part was wiping off all the old paste/sizing before rolling on the primer.

Their price was very reasonable. They charged by the hour and we provided the wall paper. The work was done in half a day. They were punctual and did exactly what they said. Their quality was wonderful.

His was a little sloppy, but overall it was very good. He rushed it and had to come back the next day to make some touch ups. Other than that everything was fine.

EXCELLENT ... done in 2 and 1/2 days .... hardly knew that Don was there .... perfect hanging and i cannot see the seams ... proof of a great hanger ... A lovely person to deal with ... highly recommend him ....

This was a very good experience. The original estimate was to include removal of old wallpaper. When he found it was not going to come off, he prepped the wall and papered over it. The walls look very nice and I think he saved us from having some major damage by not trying to remove the old paper. He adjusted the price accordingly ($100 instead of the $156 estimate) and even fixed my dangling light fixture without charge. Mr. Driggers was very nice and did a great job. I would definitely use him again.

Don fixed a (big) hole in my drywall and re-papered my kitchen. He came up one evening and gave me a free estimate, and told me how much paper I would need (9 double rolls). I have to say I was fairly amazed at the price he quoted for 2 days work. On the first day he fixed the drywall hole, removed all my fixtures, prepped the surface, and completed about a third of the papering. On the second day he finished the papering and replaced all of the fixures, and it looks great. The drywall fix is absolutely undetectable. When he billed me, he charged me less than the estimate because he only used 8 rolls. I now have the option of taking the last roll back to the store, or keeping a spare so that the next time my son puts a hole in it, I can match the paper. I think I'm keeping it.

Prepared surface on first day. Mudded a rough surface smooth. On second day wallpapered ceiling with paintable embossed paper. Effect was to create an elegant ceiling from one that was barely presentable.

The service was excellent and I was very happy with it. It was extremely easy to make an appointment and he came out that same day. He was professional and cleaned up after the job was done.

Great Job! Don has worked for us before and is an excellent craftsman. His price was very fair, $208 to strip old wallpaper, fix a few holes in the wall and install 8 single rolls of new paper. This was in a hall bath, approx 5 x 8. We have used Don for three bathroom paper installations and 1 kitchen. He is fast, friendly and fair, I highly recommend him. He is on time and a neat worker. He also does faux finishes besides papering.
