The Vacuum Shop

It turned out to be an easy, quick fix so we did not need to leave the vacuum for repair. My husband and I were both impressed by the owner's knowledge of our vacuum (and other brands too). Even though it was clear we were not going to be a paying customer, she still took the time to show us how to maintain our vacuum by showing us how to clean the brushroll and the filter (and cleaning the filter for us right there on the spot), etc. We were probably only there for 10 minutes, but we left with a wealth of knowledge! The owner is super friendly and it was so nice to receive such personalized service. We would go back to this shop in a heartbeat with any issues we may encounter going forward! Just a footnote: This shop specializes in Kirby vacuum cleaners. During our visit, my husband recalled his mother saving up to buy a Kirby vacuum back in the day (which his brother still has). My husband now plans to get that vacuum and bring it in so the owner can take a look at it.

It would be difficult to find better service. It was done quickly and well. We have two more appliances that we will take to the Vacuum Shop for repairs. I recommend them without reservation.

Overall it was very good, except for having to wait 2 months.

Have a Kirby. The power switch stopped working unless you hit it just so. Husband had fixed something else on it previously so he tried this time too. So part of it was already disassembled. Of course, there were parts that did not need to be disassembled but we give hubby an A for trying anyway. Store contacted me promptly with an estimate and completed service within less than a weeks time. Store co-owner was very friendly and talkative. I enjoyed the conversation, but you may want to add a little time to your errand time allotment? Listening to her phone conversation with another customer, I honestly believe this is the best place to take your vacuum for repairs.

Very friendly and professional! I went in there because my vacuum wouldn't work, turned out i had one setting turned off on the vacuum. Rather than charge me to "fix" my vacuum the lady simply told me what i did wrong and let me test it in her store...and didn't charge me a penny. Super cool.

It now works just like it did when it was brand new. They provided a loaner Dysen while my unit was in repair. The repair was fast, less than three business days. Overall I was extremely pleased with the prompt professional service that was provided at a reasonable price. I will use this business again.

Awesome people and service! The lady at the front desk was friendly, knowledgeable, and was kind enough to help me load the loaner into my car. My vacuum was fixed promptly and the loaner was so good, and for sale at such a great price we decided to buy it as a spare. HIGHLY recommend!!!!
