Description of Work: This service was performed through my Home Warranty of America insurance. I had to pay a $75.00 service fee. The service was for my garage door. And i had made a very stupid error that caused the door not to work. The man was very sweet. He had to charge me because he was there for the insurance provider. But he told me that in the future to call him first and we will walk/talk through the issues to see if he can help with money being involved. Very nice. I think the man was the owner of AMSGD INC.

Description of Work: They were very friendly and serviced my Garage door. They came out the second time for free, because there was an electrical problem that needed to be fixed first. I will call them in the future for garage problems, and I'm currently in the process of addressing continuing electrical problems with the garage door. Hopefully I can find the right contractor to take care of that!

Description of Work: My home warranty company put me in touch with AMS Garage Doors to replace a spring in my garage door which had broken. The day I made the claim, I was contacted by AMS. The following day, they were at my house making the repairs. They called about 5-10 minutes prior to their arrival (which I appreciate since I have dogs that I have to put up before they got here). David, the tech, explained to me that I may as well replace both garage door springs, my house is 26 years old, and both springs were terribly rusted. To make another claim with my home warranty company when the other spring broke would cost me more, than it would to have him replace the 2nd spring the same day, so I paid the extra money. Plus, like I said, it was terribly rusted, so it was just a matter of time before it broke as well. I am very happy with their service. David and his coworker were very nice and did a great job! They took the extra time to explain some things that we could do to keep our garage door in good shape, and they reset the door in a way that will maximize the life of the garage door opener. I will definitely call them again if I need further services, and would recommend them to my friends and family in this area.
