After the repair the light came on again after a week. I took it to another mechanic who found more leaks. This was my go to place even though they were expensive. Their main mechanic left and ever since this place has not been the same.

We have used horizon for many years. They are wonderful and perform very professional and super service.

The experience was great. Greeted promptly and very friendly. Updated about work thru texts. Notified immediately upon completion. Could not ask for more.

I'm done with this place. Used them for years but most of the good mechanics have moved on and they are very expensive.

I called them on a Friday and they were willing to let me schedule an appointment and come in on a Saturday. About 2 or 3 months ago I took it in for them to look at my A/C system because it had stopped blowing cold air, to get a windshield wiper pump replaced, and then also an oil change. When the air stopped blowing cold again here recently I called them back to find out what the heck is going on. I just paid for this. The guy was really friendly, I think his name was Heath, he was great. He was able to pull up my account immediately, because I accused him of me spending $1100 on the A/C system and he corrected me, which he was correct, it was only $600 I spent on it. There was a lot of work that was done. He said bring it in and we'll check it out and if it's something they replaced or they touched there won't be any cost to me but if there's something else we'll have to pay for it. It turned out it was and O-ring they installed, something was wrong with; the seal wasn't perfect or something so they lost cool air. They fixed it at no cost to me. They said bring it back in about 3 or 4 weeks to see if there's anything else where the sealant didn't quite stick; so fairly happy with them. It's rare.

They are friendly, courteous, accommodating for scheduling. They go above and beyond a honda dealership.

They do a very good job. It just takes too long sometimes, even for just an oil change, and car repair costs are just out of control these days.

Great. Until son wrecked it a week later....

I have a diesel truck and they have worked on it many times before. Took it in this time and they informed me they no longer work on diesel trucks. They had some great mechanics but apparently they have moved on.

I had a wonderful experience in seeking service for an older Chevy S10. My son's truck is currently at a small repair outfit in Garland that I have used and trusted for years. The Garland Shop diagnosed computer issues with the truck and recommended I find another shop as they didn't usually work on computers. This S10 had already had a computer replaced a year ago by the Garland shop so I assumed it was another computer on the vehicle that was more complicated than they could manage. So I called Horizon. The man I talked to was really nice (I think his name was Jesse.) He was very patient in my inability to answer his basic questions and graciously agreed to call the other shop to determine if his shop could help with my repair. Within 10 minutes he called me back. He'd talked with the other shop and agreed that there was a computer issue but instead of making arrangements for a tow truck from Garland to Rockwell, he recommended another shop in Garland that he was familiar with to save me money on the tow. Wow! Additionally, during our conversation I mentioned that I had already replaced a computer in that vehicle a year ago. He clarified that there was only one computer to replace and that the new computer may still be under warranty. In making this disclosure, I was struck by how diplomatically he stated this fact. Anyone else might have criticized my Garland shop for apparently not wanting to do warrantee work. That was so respectful and I completely appreciated it. As it turns out, I was able to find my receipt from last year and talk with the Garland shop. The owner, who I have used and trusted for years was as surprised as I was that they had done the work. He is mostly retired so I can certainly understand his not remembering the work. But his history has always been to go above and beyond so I don't doubt he might have done the computer a year ago because he wanted to please a long standing customer. So as a result of a call to Horizon Automotive I have found a second repair shop that I would trust for repairs AND have my current shop checking for warrantee on the year old computer AND have a name of a third shop in Garland that is likely trustworthy and a short tow away for my current repair if I need it. This has been a very good day.

We had a great experience. We walked away without paying a dime... they checked our car over before we took it on a trip. They were very up front and honest. There was only one problem that was found with our vehicle. They gave us the "worst case scenario" and were fine with us waiting to have it repaired. The men were very professional and knowledgeable. WE will be back. Thank you.

Went well. All work preformed a day. Very pleased with work preformed and the staff are very nice and informative.

Both my wife and myself had contact with Horizon over several days. I am familiar with cars, but my wife is not. Individually, we talked with Horizon and individually we each felt like the person we dealt with was short with us and rude. We were also stunned at the cost to have the Check Engine code checked out. The price for the catalytic converter / exhaust work was also overpriced, but at least they recommend that we check with CleanAirTexas to get a credit (which was good thing for Horizon). We had to pay over and above that to complete all the work. If we had not felt loyalty to them for at least suggesting the credit, we would have gone elsewhere. We had quotes that were far less for the work. The check engine light mystery never did get solved. They wanted MORE money for a smoke test before they would consider even looking further. Horizon is very good about post-visit contact (you will be on their marketing lists for life) and was nice and friendly at pick-up of the vehicle. We have since taken our cars to other auto places that are far less expensive (for brakes, starter, oil changes), however, we may consider using them again if we had transmission or engine rebuilt that we needed.

I would not take my auto to this place for repairs if you have a diesel engine. I went in for an AC Repair and was told I needed a major engine repair that would cost 6K. I said no thanks and just left with having AC Repaired. The next day the AC was not working correctly again. I took my auto to the dealership service shop where they repaired and the AC and told me that Horizon Auto gave me bad information on the major engine repair, as it is not needed. I wish I had just taken my auto to the dealership in the first place.

They are very good. They are straightforward and reasonably priced. They get it done for me when they say they will.

They were very good. I have no problems at all. They are very professional.

I took my Murano in to check the brakes. It needed brakes and new rotors on the rear. they did the work I needed quickly and efficiently.

They looked the car over, checked fluid levels, hoses, and wiper blades. They are honest and helpful. Once you are on their mailing list, you receive coupons good for future work. The only downside is their parking lot is rather small.

Have used Horizon for several years......have always been very pleased!

I was still very impressed with their professionalism and over all attitude. I would use them to repair any of my non diesel trucks and cars and would highly recommend them to others.

There still is a bit of a problem so I will bring it back when convenient but it may be unrelated to the initial visit. I love these people though!

All personnel at the dealership were super friendly and made you feel like they appreciated your business.

Excellent facility and outstanding service. Nice job keeping me updated about parts and status of the repairs. The key factor is the focus on good customer service and treating customers right. I will be back the next time I need service.

First-rate. This is our first time using this vendor. We were impressed. Professional and friendly atmosphere. Service was quick. We will definitely use them again. Horizon Auto Center knows the meaning of "excellence" in running a business.
